"Of course, we are talking about Postpartum Taylor Swift Disorder or as its more commonly known PPTSD," Carrie added to the joke.
The duo explained exactly what the tragic diagnosis is, and did it all via song, of course.
"Who's going to fill her shoes? Who's going to stand that tall? Who's going to be country and poppy and sing a song called Tim McGraw?" the duo sang together. "We're sad because it looks like New York's gain is Nashville's loss. Just going to have to shake it off," they sang.
Brad and Carrie finished up their tribute to Tay by wishing her the best and offering her a place at the next CMA Awards.
"If you ever want to come back, there is a seat for you right here," Brad said pointing to Blake Shelton. "It's Blake's. We will kick him out."
