While her appearance in and of itself seemed to irritate a handful of people, it was her controversial interview comments that really got a lot of people on the anti-human Barbie bandwagon.
First, she said that she was converting to "Breatharianism," where she would sustain life on air and light alone. Then, in a later interview, she said that she was revolted by the idea of having kids and perhaps most offensive of all, said that she was not a fan of race-mixing.
All of that being said, that does not give anybody any excuse, EVER to physically attack her, which is exactly what she claims happened on Halloween night.

The 28-year-old model says that she was attacked at the entrance to her home when she had her hands full of shopping bags and had just punched in the code at the door.
"They said nothing and did not try to rob me. It happened in a flash, they hit me on the head, several times on my jaw, then one of them began strangling me," she explains (via The Daily Mail). "If it wasn't for my neighbor who who suddenly appeared, I don't know what would have happened. They saw her and ran away."
Of course, there are some skeptics who think she is doing all of this as a cover-up for a plastic surgery, but in the photos (see them here), she looks like she was beat up pretty badly.
No word yet on whether or not the police are involved. The Huffington Post reached out to Valeria for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
