We know there's a lot more music in these guys that their fans would love to hear, so it only makes sense to keep at it while there's still tons of interest. And Simon Cowell agrees, as his SYCO is reportedly set to sign the One Direction lads on for two more albums after their current contract is up.
Under their current deal, there are still two albums to come, plus a greatest hits compilation, but an insider says Simon wants more, squealing to the Daily Star (via Capital FM): "One Direction are big business and Simon and co are desperate to keep the money-making machine going for as long as possible."
Well. Duh.
The source added: "The £2.5million would be a signing on deal before they get the cut of royalties, songwriting and PRS. The concert deals would remain separate. The negotiations are already in the very early stages and are being kept top secret."
Fingers are crossed that they sign on for more albums!
