One of the hardest things for the One Direction guys is that their fame keeps them from going home to see their family very often. We've heard them talk about some of the pitfalls of their success and this is one that comes up time and again.Zayn Malik recently told BBC Radio 2: "I don't think anyone can ever get home as much as their parents want them to...but we love our parents and obviously we love coming home." Louis Tomlinson added that when they had a chunk of time off before touring they were home with their families.
As for what the guys have been up to when they're not touring, Niall Horan said, "I find it quite easy to relax," adding, "I've been getting into my cookery! I've been watching Jamie Oliver's Comfort Foods so I've been making a lot of burgers."
In addition to hanging in the U.S., Harry Styles said he's spent some of his time off "up North watching daytime television."
Liam Payne said he's looking to organize a party for the guys because they need to hang out, explaining, "We have our time off, but we've not had a lot of chance to celebrate together. Boys, I think we need to arrange a little party. One day every year when we go out and let loose."
