On a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, we saw Jeremy Calvert freaking out over the amount of money his wife Leah had been spending.
After accusing her of spending "hundreds of thousands of dollars," Jeremy pointed out that there were additional bills on top of the month-to-month stuff.
"How about taxes?!" Jeremy asked Leah. "Let's pay s**t that we said we were gonna pay off for a year now and we have yet to do."
Yikes! At the time, we didn't want to take sides in the argument because we didn't know the whole story, but given this most recent news, it sounds like Jeremy might have been right on this one.
According to RadarOnline, the couple was hit with a $10,598 tax lien back in March. The good news is that they did pay it off a few months later, but could that have been the beginning of all of the drama that is going on now?
We know that money is an issue for Leah, who has admitted that she has a spending problem. Add that to her daughter Ali's medical bills, which have been as high as $20,000 for ONE bill alone and we can see where that would be a source of stress in their relationship.
As for their current relationship status, according to Leah's most recent tweet, where she gave Jeremy an "I love you" shoutout, things seem to be going fine, but Jeremy still isn't following her on Twitter and his Facebook status still says "divorced."
Do you guys think Leah and Jeremy will be able to survive this trying time in their relationship?
