In today's not so breaking news, we learn it's often easier to be a male than a female, especially when you're walking around alone in NYC.
Earlier this week, a video of a woman being catcalled more than 100 times in one day on NYC streets went viral. The PSA was filmed by Hollaback!, an organization attempting to end the everyday problem of street harassment that women face.
Of course, it was only a matter of minutes before someone filmed a male version. Funny Or Die took the challenge and while theirs is clearly a parody, it's still got some funny moments.
For the male in their video who wears jeans, a crewneck and glasses, the catcalls he gets are quite different.
"Hey Harvard, hey Harvard...you wanna network with me?" one guy yells. "Hey, do you want a job? Can I get you a job?" another woman offers.
The dude also gets lots of freebies given to him, like Chipotle and a Starbucks gift card. "Pumpkin spice season, son!" a guy reminds him.
If people actually gave us girls Starbucks and burritos on the streets instead of whistles and creepy stares, the world would be a much better place.
