After getting a DUI in LA and fleeing to NYC, where she was caught trying to shoplift, the Easy A actress was placed on yet another mandatory 5150 psychiatric hold in a Pasadena hospital, which got extended.
Now Amanda's parents have obtained control over her finances again after claiming their daughter was blowing big bucks on gifts for strangers, according to TMZ.
In court docs, they claim Amanda is worth $5.7 million but she's blowing through her fortune by spending "alarming amounts" of money on "extensive" gifts for random people.
Her only current income is from a rental property of hers.
Amanda's doctors also feel strongly that she's a danger to herself, telling the court the 28-year-old is "very ill".
