Newly Single Jordin Sparks Shows Off Her Septum Piercing

Instead of the title of her hit song "Tattoo," newly single Jordin Sparks opted for another type of body modification after her breakup with Jason DeRulo: a pierced septum!

The former American Idol winner shared the news of her nose piercing and photos of the process on social media.

While she first decided to get a septum ring on a whim, it looks like she may stick with her new look.

Soooo...I pierced my septum yesterday & took it out yesterday. I was a rebel for about 12 hours. It was great. 😂

She shared this selfie rocking the nose ring on a flight to NYC, then another one of her sans piercing when she landed.

Wide awake!! Aaaaand just like that, it disappears! I love the versatility of this piercing. Can't wait to get a cuter ring. :)
