Katy Perry has already started celebrating her birthday week and she already got her birthday wish of having a Shakey's sign give her a b-day shoutout.But the singer had bigger plans for her actual birthday, which is on the 25th. The "Dark Horse" singer planned go to Egypt. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Katy had originally planned to celebrate her special day in Egypt with "a string of parties, tourist stops and even a cruise down the Nile River."
Sounds cool, especially considering how much Katy loves Egyptian-themed stuff, it would be really neat to actually BE there.
Unfortunately, she has canceled the trip due to "safety reasons." E! News reports that the pop star was also scheduled to travel to Morocco, South Africa and Paris after the Egypt excursion, but there is no word yet on whether or not she's canceling those stops, too.
If she's gonna stay close to home, we think she should just stick with our original idea of having her birthday party at Shakey's and wearing her pizza onesie.
