Britney Spears = Big bucks! The pop star has been doing her 'Piece of Me' show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for less than a year and she's already proving to be a big moneymaker for the hotel.
According to a new report by the Las Vegas Sun, the pop star has boosted the hotel's annual earnings by an estimated 20 million. "Wall Street gaming experts say the pop princess has revitalized the property and helped turn its one-time dismal financial picture into a real profit center," the report continues.
That's great news for Planet Hollywood, especially because Britney recently signed a deal to renew her contract through 2017.
It's also good news for Britney, who recently revealed that she enjoys the consistency and that it helps ground her. It sounds crazy to think that commuting from California to Nevada is grounding, but when BritBrit explained what life used to be like on tour, it makes perfect sense.
"The way I used to travel all around the world and do a different show every night, I'm like, 'How did I do it?!" she told Good Morning Britain.
"Promotion is a different story, and going to a different city every day, like what I'm doing now [to promote her lingerie line], it's really hard. But being based in Vegas and having one show that you just keep going back to, the consistency of that is really grounding and really cool."
