After coming out as a lesbian last year, Charice got candid with Oprah Winfrey about her sexuality.
"I knew when I was five," the former Glee star told Oprah during her appearance on the media mogul's "Where Are They Now?," dishing on when she realized she was gay. "I was in grade school and I saw this girl and I felt different. I didn't know what it was but I just knew that time, like it felt special. And when I was 10 I was like, 'Oh, that's it. I'm gay.' I found the word."
Charice had previously appeared on Oprah's talk show when she was younger, rocking long locks and feminine clothes as she sang on the show. Now that things have changed, Oprah asked her about that transition. "So you struggled with transgender?," she asked. "Were you thinking about transitioning to become a male?"

Charice first came out as a lesbian in June 2013, telling Filipino outlet "The Buzz" at the time, "Yes, I am a tomboy, which is a common Filipino colloquial term for lesbian. "I don't know what's the problem with that. Because for me, there isn't a problem with that."
The singer-actress's full "Where Are They Now?" episode airs Sunday at 9/8c on OWN.
