Demi Lovato talks about working with Nick Jonas on X Factor--including why she picked Nick for the job!Their history is a good thing, as she explains, "The reason why I picked Nick is because we kind of grew up together," noting that they've known each other since they were 14.
She's got nothing but love for Nick, saying, "he's a really smart intelligent guy."
His initial reaction? Nick said he was "overwhelmed," but added, "I was thrilled she gave me a call."
He said they have "a really strong bond," remembering "when we'd be on the stage together, we could look at each other from across the stage and kind of know exactly what the other person was thinking."
Nick said they still have that connection!
Nick tweeted about his guest gig, writing, "Only 2 days left until the @TheXFactorUSA Judges' Home episode! I must say, I think @ddlovato and I have the best team."
Check out Demi on Jimmy Kimmel, where she talks more about X Factor and her chemistry with Simon Cowell, saying, "It's pretty amazing that I get the privilege to get paid to mess with my boss all day."
It's all just teasing for the show though, as Demi says, "when we're not on the panel, we do get along really well."
