Christina Aguilera is ready to take back her judge seat on the 'Voice.'The superstar singer will return to NBC singing competition show for its upcoming eighth season, Carson Daly announced Tuesday morning on Today. "@CarsonDaly just shared a big announcement about @NBCTheVoice! Coaches for next cycle: @Pharrell, @adamlevine, @blakeshelton & @xtina!," the Today Show's twitter handle revealed.
During her two-season hiatus from the show, Christina has been quite the busy woman, performing around the country and giving birth to her and fiance Matthew Rutler's baby girl, Summer Rain Rutler, in August.
Meanwhile, Shakira and now Gwen Stefani have filled in while she was away, and while the No Doubt crooner will step away from the show next season, new judge Pharrell is planning to stick around.
