Kris Jenner Wants to Trademark #ProudMama

Kris Jenner is a momager and a brilliant business woman and in the perfect marriage of the two, she's moved to trademark #ProudMama, which she frequently uses on Instagram.

According to TMZ, the 60-year-old, who has a LOT to be a proud mama about, has just filed a trademark to use the phrase for "advertising purposes."

Back in September, Kris posted about being a #ProudMama and explained exactly what it means to her. "I know some of you Moms out there are going to understand this, but just wanted to try and explain what I mean, every time I write, say or post #proudmama," she captioned a photo of Kendall Jenner's Estee Lauder ad in a magazine.

"As I sit on a plane on my way to Paris for Fashion Week, I am acutely aware of my baby girl Kendall lying next to me, fast asleep... Getting her rest for what will be another whirlwind of fittings/fashion shows/endless Glam/meetings/runways/dinners and events... All done with joy and exhilaration and excitement and professionalism and intensity and focus."
Celebrity Sightings In Los Angeles - September 28, 2015
"...Not sure anyone else might understand why I am a crying sobbing mess in my seat, when actually I feel like my heart could burst because I'm a #proudmama," she continued. "Every Mother hopes and dreams that their children can reach for the stars and dream big... Well, if you really work hard, you can have just about anything you can possibly dream up. #nevergiveup#thankyou #esteelauder #inspiration#grateful #appreciation #ittakesavillage#thankful #supermodel and most of all...#love."

We don't blame her for being a #ProudMama, she's raised some pretty amazing, and hard-working kids!

2015 American Music Awards - ArrivalsAs any celebrity knows, having a lot of followers inevitably means there's going to be some trolls in that bunch. It's just part of the gig, as unfortunate as that is.

In Kendall Jenner's case, she has over 43 million followers on Instagram alone, so she's all too familiar with the negativity on social media. In an awesome new blog post on her website and app entitled 'Staying Positive: My Outlook on Social Media,' she explained how she's been able to rise above the haters and keep being the queen that she is.

She admits that she does sometimes read comments, but that she puts her phone away as soon as she sees "a mean one."

"When you're being looked at under such a microscope, you try to be aware of what you post - you go over it a million times before posting to make sure it's okay," she wrote. "So in reality, I know it's not a bad photo, but someone's going to say something mean anyway. They're just bored. You just have to remember that it's them, not you."

Now, she says, she's gotten to a place where it just makes her stronger. "I think that's how my career got started in a way - like an 'I wanted to prove them wrong' kind of thing because no one ever thought I could do what I'm doing right now." Mission accomplished!

This Movie Is Going to Change the Way You Think About Coding

AOL Build Presents: Only seven percent of technology companies are founded by women. This is a point that director Lesley Chilcott makes both in her new documentary, CODEGIRL, and in person when we interviewed her for Cambio. It's hard to find someone who disagrees that these stats are in serious need of fixing, but Lesley is making it her mission to finally do something about it.

Lesley, who has produced powerful films like Waiting for Superman and An Inconvenient Truth, followed teams of female high school students ages 15 to 17 who participated in the 2015 Technovation Challenge to create her full-length documentary, CODEGIRL. According to the organization, about 4,200 girls from 28 countries have taken part in the app-creating competition over the past five years, but throughout the journey, each girl has picked up tech skills that are no doubt going to last her a lifetime.

The film, which was released on November 1, was available for free for five days on YouTube, and more than 100,000 girls tuned in to watch it. If you haven't seen it yet, you can buy or rent the film here.

Just in time for Computer Science Education Week, we sat down with Lesley to find out what it was like to make CODEGIRL.

CAMBIO: How did you get the idea for this film?
LESLEY CHILCOTT: While making a piece for Code.org, I heard about the Technovation Challenge and I was like, "What's that?" Basically it's a contest where high school age [girls] from around the world have three months to design an app. The only prompt they're given is that it has to solve a problem in their community. I was like, "How cool is that? What does every high school girl have? A cell phone." So instead of saying, "Hello, smart high school girl, you're smarter than you think and you can code and you should because there aren't enough women [doing it]." It's like, "Look around, take out your cell phone, figure out how to solve a problem by using technology." And I just thought that was the weirdest, coolest thing I had ever heard. And I knew I had to make a movie about it. One of the girls in the film who is 15 says, "It's hard to be what you can't see," and so that's the other reason I made it.

How did the girls' ideas of coding change over time?
They all busted the stereotypes that we see, and interestingly enough, I just did a panel with some of the girls recently and...all of them but one said the hardest part was business plan, not the coding - and these are people who have never coded before. Beforehand most of them would have said coding. There are these stereotypes about the lone male coder in a nerd pile of crushed-up soda cans and pizza boxes and being some sort of brilliant misunderstood person that just has to code by themselves. The contest shows it's a group activity.

One of the girls said, "Nobody has ever asked me to identify a problem and try to solve it on my own and that's what I did with this contest." That changed her whole future.

What does #BUILTBYGIRLS mean to you?
The reason I called the movie CODEGIRL is because, to me, a codegirl is someone who solves problems. A codegirl is someone who looks around them and says, "Hey I see a problem, how am I gonna solve that using technology?"

In the future, we as girls and women can't just be avid users of technology, we have to write and create it. You can't have half the population not involved in architectural-type questions. What's that going to look like for the future? We're using and buying the apps and the programs and everything else, we have to make them, too.

What do you want girls to take away from CODEGIRL?
I want every teen girl to take a coding lesson. Even if you know that you want to be a doctor or a lawyer or a ballerina, getting yourself familiar with computer science gives you confidence and it teaches you a logical way of thinking. "If I wanna do this, what are the steps I need to take to get there in any career?" So I think it's essential that every girl at least take a coding lesson. Go to CodegirlMovie.com, scroll down and take a lesson off the website.

What stuck with you the most after making this film?
Every country I went to, I would see a different girl looking at another problem differently. In my life, whenever I think I'm in a difficult situation...I'm like, "Well, how would they look at it?" Instead of going to film festivals or building up word of mouth, I'm like, "What 14-year-old girl goes to Sundance? I'm going to be like the girls and...solve my problem of distributing my film in a unique way. I'm going to give the film away on YouTube." I partnered for social outreach with Made With Code. It was scary, I gave my film away. But I learned I can be inventive and try to solve a problem the way they did.

The Kardashian and Jenner Gift Guides Are Here and They're Not Exactly Budget-Friendly

The Kardashian and Jenner crew isn't exactly living on the same "budget" that most of us are. In fact, they probably don't even need to budget at all. So, when it came to their holiday gift guides, the girls didn't hold back - at all!
Cosmopolitan Magazine's 50th Birthday Celebration
In Kim Kardashian's gift guide, for example, a candle is included, which sounds like something we could totally afford, right? Not exactly. It's actually a Jo Malone candle (the London Pomegranate Noir scent, to be exact) and it's gonna set you back $455. She also has a $500 pair of Pryma headphones and a $2305 La Perla bodysuit on her list...just to name a few!

Kim's is actually the least budget-friendly of the bunch, while Kylie Jenner's is a little bit more reasonable. Still, too rich for our blood, but definitely more reasonable.

Check out the video above to see some of the gifts on the girls' lists - and to find out who had the $9000 pair of headphones on hers!

LOL! Watch These Guys Try Their Girlfriends' Morning Routines for a Day

Admittedly, we tend to snooze our alarm at least three times before getting out of bed in the morning. But even on the days where we don't wash our hair, or just apply some new eyeshadow and blush over yesterday's makeup, getting ready is still a lot of work for a girl.

In this amazing video by BuzzFeed's SOML, they had some guys try their girlfriends' morning routines for just a day and it's pretty awesome to see them getting a taste of what we have to go through every day.

The guys were super cool about it, though, and they both even found stuff in their girlfriends' routines that they kinda liked - like the coconut oil...
...and eating potato chips after a morning workout (yas!!!!).

One of the boyfriends got a free pass in the makeup department because his girlfriend doesn't do her makeup until she gets to work, but watching the other guy try to figure out all of those crazy things we have in our makeup bags was all kinds of adorable.

Justin Bieber carWhat do you mean, officer? Justin Bieber just had ANOTHER run-in with the law.

Don't worry, this incident didn't end with an arrest. According to TMZ, the Biebs put on an awesome show with his Ferrari, but he did it in front of a cop, and ended up getting busted for it.

The whole moment went down when Justin hit up The Grove in L.A. on Friday. All was cool until he wanted to show off when leaving.

Justin apparently hopped in his icy blue whip, and gunned it, peeling out of the parking lot. Seconds later a LAPD cruiser pulled him over, and apparently wrote him up.

A source close to Justin tells us the singer made an illegal left turn. We're guessing the officer said it was too late to say sorry.

Scott Disick Celebrates His Birthday at 1 OAK Nightclub Las Vegas at The Mirage Hotel & CasinoKourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have been spotted out and about a couple times together since Scott has been out of rehab. Despite their breakup in July, they seem to be getting along pretty well and Scott was even at the Kardashian-Jenner Thanksgiving.

There has even been some speculation that they might be getting back together, but according to TMZ, people shouldn't necessarily get their hopes up. A source tells the site that there is no way she's taking him back, Kourtney is just modeling her relationship with Scott on the one Kris Jenner had with her ex, Robert Kardashian, where they remained close and committed to co-parenting the kids, even after their divorce.

Kourt and Scott have definitely had their ups and downs over the past few years, but they seem to be doing great - even if just as friends - right now. Apparently, Scott remains committed to trying to win Kourtney back, so who knows what the future holds, but for right now, we're just happy to see them so happy.

Your Coffee Can Now Charge Your Phone Because Magic Is Real

Cappucino with chocolateYour coffee can bring you back to life, but did you know it might be able to do the very same thing for your cellphone? This may sound like some serious wizardry, but it's actually ~science~ and it will make you rethink everything you know about your AM beverage.

When you pour a cup of coffee into a mug, the heat that emits off of it has energy. Though you may know that from chemistry, you probably didn't think that a piping hot mug could be useful to your actual life. Fortunately two Copenhagen design students, Sergey Komardenkov and Vihanga Gore, did think about that, and invented a table that will use that energy to charge your cell. The table is appropriately called "Heat Harvest," and it's totally sustainable: no more wasted electricity when you could be using heat.

The Heat Harvest table has sensors that pick up heat through conduction, and pretty much any household item can work, from a hot pan to a laptop to your morning cup of joe. The sensors use that energy to power electronic devices, similarly to how a wireless charger does. Of course, that's the short version, but you can check out the video that explains all of the nuances of the project:No word yet on when this table might be on the market, but this is totally the way of the future.

Why 'Pretty Little Liars' Won't Be on ABC Family Anymore

los angeles may 15 lucy...It's officially the end of an era: Pretty Little Liars will no longer air on ABC Family. But before you totally freak out about your fave show going off the air, there's no need to panic. Pretty Little Liars will still have a home - it's just the name of it that's changing.

ABC Family will be known as Freeform in the new year, and while that's not brand-new information, we do finally have a date for when that switch will happen. According to Deadline, the name switch will coincide with the Season 6B premiere of Pretty Little Liars on Jan. 12, which also happens to be the same date that new series Shadowhunters will premiere.

It seems appropriate that ABC Family will become Freeform on that day, considering Pretty Little Liars is going to be very different in itself. The Season 6B is also the first time we'll really get to explore the Liars in their new lives, as the show is jumping five years ahead. There will be a new villain, new love interests, and lots of new drama - it's only appropriate that the show gets to be on a "new" network also.

It'll definitely be strange flipping the channel to Freeform instead of ABC Family when Pretty Little Liars returns, but as long as PLL still airs somewhere, I'll be watching it.

2015 American Music Awards - ShowNicki Minaj is not here for anyone's jabs at her career.

The rapper sounded off on Twitter Friday after gossip site Bossip drummed up a discussion on Twitter asking " Why aren't there more mainstream female rappers?. Really, does a female rapper have to be top notch to make it? I see a lot of so-so male rappers in the game..."

The drama began when the site's account re-tweeted someone who wrote, "Yep, men are visual creatures they don't are if you can sing...That's why nicki had to buy an a** to blow up! #Fact."

When Nicki caught wind of it all, she made sure to respond to the chatter. "Not giving me my props doesn't stop me from being great. I am a mogul. Your hate is what made this possible. Lol. Thank uuuuuu! Mmuuaahhh!!!," she replied.

"To imply someone's ass is the reason they get on tracks and hold their own with every great MC who is still alive black ppl, do better lol." And that was just the beginning.Bossip, meanwhile, was quick to respond, tweeting Nicki that they didn't say they agreed with what they retweeted and never tried to undermine her skill.Whether it was hate or not, there's no reason for Nicki to let it faze her. The rapper not only just nabbed three Grammy nominations, but she's continuing to build her empire and just got another huge, stunning ring from her bae Meek Mill.

A New Instagram Update Will Make It Easier to Insta-Stalk

Instagram app on iphone followHave you ever been looking through Instagram's explore option for the perfect photo, only to jump back and forth between different accounts? It's not as seamless as it could be. Fortunately, Instagram just created a new update that will make finding photos to heart a whole lot easier.

Instagram has officially introduced 3D touch, and it might change the way you scroll through the app. Now, if you're searching for a cool sunset pic, all you have to do is hold down the photo in order to enlarge it - no need to jump from explore to that specific photo and back. It is similar to the iPhone 7's latest "peek" features, which allows you to check out an app without actually opening it.

Here's a video that explains how all this ish works:Unfortunately, there is one catch with this new update: the only way you'll be able to get the 3D touch is if you have an Android phone. iPhone junkies will either have to upgrade their phones to the iPhone 7 or jump ship entirely to get a taste of this feature.

Of course, not having this feature shouldn't stop anyone from continuing to stalk their crush's cute pics or find cute photos of French bulldog puppies. The world is still your photo oyster with this app, even if you have to settle for 2D touch.

The 2012 MusiCares Person Of The Year Gala Honoring Paul McCartney - Backstage And AudienceAlthough it's been nearly a year since Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams called it quits, the former couple are still in the process of working out the legal deets of their split - specifically how they'll care for the eight pets they share.

In the interest of their furry babies, Mandy wants Ryan to pay spousal support for herself and for their six cats and two dogs after he allegedly failed to help her with the cats, US Weekly reports.

Gah! That has to be the cutest. Friggin'. Cat. Ever. We feel you, Mandy.

As any pet lover knows, animals are most certainly family, therefore when ish goes wrong between a couple, they definitely have to be taken into consideration. We're certainly not mad at Mandy's request, but hopefully she and Ryan can arrive at a mutual, drama-free resolution that allows them to move on in purr-filled, pooch-lovin' peace.

Regardless of the outcome, we're guessing that the notoriously private pair will continue to remain mum on the issue.

After abruptly ending a radio interview that involved questions about his marriage, Ryan told BuzzFeed last year, "Okay, so I just hung up because I was on the radio getting asked about my wife. I was really nice about it the first time, and I'm sorry, but I won't repeat myself. The deal is this: I'm a private person and I'll be a gentleman and say I'm not talking about my marriage ever. I'll never talk about it. Ever."

Nutella Lattes Are Your New Caffeinated BFF

La Dolce Vita Italian food & drink show at Business Design Centre, London: Nutella chocolate spreadI remember the first time I tried the glorious taste of Nutella. It was in my Italian class in middle school, and we had gotten to try the beloved European dessert as part of our "cultural immersion." (Obviously, the class was the best one I had that entire day.) Now, I can't imagine a life without the chocolate hazelnut spread: it's so versatile that literally anything can be made better with it. Now, a food blogger has combined two addictive things - coffee and Nutella - for a drink that's a definite need. The Nutella latte is here, and you're going to want it ASAP.

The genius over at the blog How Sweet It Is came up with this concoction, and it's the stuff of pure, caffeinated genius. It's also super simple. According to the blogger, this recipe is "embarrassingly simple," but that doesn't mean it's not delicious. Because, oh - it is so delicious.

The only thing you need to do to create this coffee drink is put a scoop of Nutella in your mug, pour hot espresso on top, and whisk. You can then add as much frothy steamed milk as your heart desires for a latte that even Starbucks would be jealous of. You can even get fancy and turn your froth into a cat, like so:
Now go forth and try this recipe, chocolate lovers! You may just find that you're skipping the coffee shop in the AM to try this one yourself.

Billboard Women In Music 2015 On Lifetime - InsideIt's no secret Lady Gaga doesn't have a problem speaking her mind, and her latest speech will make you stand up and cheer.

While accepting the Woman of the Year honor at the Billboard Women in Music event in New York City Friday, Mother Monster put the music industry on blast, calling it a "boy's club," according to People.
Billboard Women In Music 2015 On Lifetime - Inside
"What I really want to say is that it is really hard sometimes for women in music. It's like a f**king boys club that we just can't get in to," she said as the room erupted in applause. "I tried for so long, I just really wanted to be taken seriously as a musician for my intelligence more than my body ever in this business. You don't always feel like when you're working that people believe that you have musical background, that you understand what you're doing because you're a female."

Gaga's fiancé, Taylor Kinney, and her mom, Cynthia Germanotta, were among those showing her love in the audience. The songstress even posted a sweet photo of herself kissing her man with the caption, "He said, "honey you're always my Woman of the Year." HAPPY HOLIDAYS! #billboard."

The "G.U.Y." crooner also hit Instagram after taking home the award to show her appreciation to her fans, writing, "I would like to thank my fans from the bottom of my heart for loving me and my music, everything I have today is because of you. Always remember that if you work hard and dream passionately you can accomplish something so fantastic it's actually beyond your imagination. That's how I felt today. If a Spice Girls reunion is what ya really, really want, then this fabulous "usie" of Gerri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel B might be the closest thing to it - for now, at least.

No word on the whereabouts of Posh and Sporty, but the women who will forever be known as Ginger, Baby and Scary recently spent time together and documented the moment on Geri's Instagram page.

Soo, we're totally side-eyeing this mini-reunion - out of curiosity, that is. Were the ladies strictly indulging in a little BFF hang time in London or was their meeting part of their efforts to solidify plans for a Spice Girls 20th anniversary reunion tour? We happen to think that a Spice Girls/Backstreet boys concert would be the ultimate throwback pop group fan moment, but based on what Mel B told Billboard in November, the details on a possible 2016 reunion remain a little unclear.

"We're figuring stuff out. As soon as we figure it out we'll tell every detail, but until then there's not much to say," she said. "It's like when you're dating somebody and everyone is forcing you to get married. It's like, 'We're getting married! Just give us a second to figure it out!'"

Fine, Mel. We'll chillax with the questions for the time being, but the suspense is srsly killing us.

Billboard Women in Music Luncheon - InsideConsidering the fact that Missy Elliott practically had fans salivating for new music during her hiatus, it comes as no surprise that the "WTF" singer was recently named Billboard's inaugural Innovator of the Year. During her emotional acceptance speech, she took time out to honor her fellow musicians, including the late R&B singer Aaliyah, but the credit she gave to other women in the entertainment industry highlighted the undeniable impact the #BUILTBYGIRLS movement has had on her success.

"I stand here for all the women who been told you don't fit the mold," a visibly emotional Missy said. "Look at me, I'm here."

"I wanna thank all the women before me...because they kicked down the door for me to be able to walk through," she added.

YAS, Missy. That was the ultimate pro-girl #truthbomb.

"I want y'all to know to continue to be creative and don't be scared to take risks," she continued. "Being a woman in this industry, for me - as an artist, a writer, a producer - I've had my ups and downs and there's times when I wanted to give up, but," she said, "God had another plan for me and if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be standing here."

Missy definitely deserves the acknowledgement for daring to defy the industry's carbon copy expectations, but we hope fans and supporters will give her just as much credit for encouraging girls and women to live up to their full #bosschick potential.

See Missy give thanks and slay the stage when Billboard's Women in Music show airs Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.

Roc Nation and Three Six Zero Pre-GRAMMY Brunch 2015 - InsideThere's no denying Jaden and Willow Smith march to the beat of their own drums...and that's just one reason why their fans love them. Aside from their philosophical tweets, the brother-sister duo brings it whenever they do interviews, having no qualms about sharing their often misunderstood ideologies with the world.

Take a peek a the five things Jaden and Willow said this year that blew our minds, made us think and even made us scratch our heads a little.

1. When Jaden Explained the Meaning of Mystery School Life (a.k.a. what he calls his and Willow's home school): "Me and my sister started this initiative called Mystery School," he told GQ. "It dates back to like ancient Egypt, ancient Greece-like Plato, Pythagoras, all these students had mystery schools. And what they learned in there was sacred. They would learn the math and sciences of that generation, and then they would build the cities and give that energy and that knowledge to the other people. And a lot of stuff they would keep really, really to themselves. Like, you couldn't say the word dodecahedron, which is just a shape, outside of one of the mystery schools or they would, like, kill you or whatever. Because it was such a sacred shape."
An Evening With Justin Bieber - Performances2. When Jaden Admitted He Knows People Think What He Says is Crazy: "That's what a lot of people don't realize. It's fun. It's so much fun. It's the best thing. People think you're crazy-I feel like it's an honor, actually, for people to think I'm crazy," he told GQ. "Because they thought Galileo was crazy, too, you know what I'm saying? I don't think I'm as revolutionary as Galileo, but I don't think I'm not as revolutionary as Galileo."
Olivier Rousteing & Beats Celebrate In Los Angeles3. When Willow Explained What Her Version of the World Would Look Like If She Had It Her Way: "The whole world would be one big tribe, one big commune," she told i-D. "It wouldn't be split up and divided, we wouldn't be fighting nearly as much, we wouldn't be using unnecessary sources of power. We'd be using free energy, we'd be eating from the trees, we'd be drinking from the natural stream. There wouldn't be traffic, and diapers and pollution in our rivers. It would all just be transcending into another dimension [laughs].

4. When Jaden Said He Wants to Disappear in 10 Years: "No one will know where I am in ten years," he said. "They'll see me pop up, but they'll be like, 'Where'd you come from?' No one will know. No one will know where I'm at. No one will know who I'm with. No one will know what I'm doing. I've been planning that since I was like 13."

5. When Willow Revealed What She Thinks of Her Generation: "I feel that right now what our generation needs is to do the art that's in our hearts," she told i-D. "Do it to the fullest and try to help other people find out that thing that makes them happy. The more people that are doing what's in their hearts, the more that heart vibration is going to start spreading around the world, and the more people will start thinking, 'Wow, maybe McDonalds isn't what I should be eating, maybe the way they're teaching me in school is depressing me, maybe I should be climbing trees and meditating more than I should be listening to my teachers telling me that everything I'm doing is wrong.' So it's taking those little steps towards awareness."

Sleeping in seems like a great way for your body to catch up on the zzzs you missed while you were up late studying for exams (and catching up on Pretty Little Liars, let's be real) but according to a new study, it's not nearly as virtuous as you might assume. It turns out that oversleeping can actually be terrible for your health - so you may want to drag your body out of bed.

A new study from the University of Sydney researched the effects that certain "bad habits" had on our health, and it's not great news. The researches found that over a six year period, regular oversleeping meant a 44 percent increased risk of death. That's strange and very unsettling news, especially considering getting less sleep than you should (less than seven hours a night) only decreased your mortality by nine percent.

Of course, there could be plenty of reasons why oversleeping is correlated with a higher mortality rate, like the fact that people who are already suffering from certain health conditions may feel like they need to sleep more. Still, maybe take this study as a reason to get your recommended eight hours a night - and not your preferred 12.
