We already know Adele can slay a song and a stage, but how about a scene? If her acting is anywhere near as drama-filled as her emotionally intense music, then when Adele makes her acting debut, we're in for a major tear-jerking performance.

According to Deadline, the 25-year-old is reportedly set to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming film The Death and Life of John F. Donovan. The movie will be directed by Xavier Dolan who also contributed his directorial expertise to her breathtakingly beautiful music video for "Hello."

While Adele's three years of downtime made for a painful wait for her fans, the break appears to have worked wonderfully in her favor. The "Hello" video quickly racked up 100 million YouTube views, breaking Taylor Swift's VEVO records and unofficially going down as one of the music videos to most likely make you ugly cry (in our opinion, at least). If she's prepared to follow up that success with a film role, then her timing couldn't be more perfect.

We're still waiting on Adele to confirm her part in the John F. Donovan film, but if and when she does, she'll be in excellent company. The cast includes Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain and Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, as well as veteran actresses Susan Sarandon and Kathy Bates.

Here's to hoping we see Adele on the big screen in the near future.

Nothing can stop Taylor Swift from putting on her show like a b-o-s-s. The singer proved she's basically the baddest of the bad when she performed at her show in Shanghai sporting heels after an ankle injury.

After six months of non-stop touring the songstress has tendinitis in her left ankle and while other stars might cancel shows because of such an injury, Tay Tay said "as if!" T-Swift didn't even swapped her fancy footwear for something more comfy, and kept doing her thing like a pro.

On Wednesday night, Taylor showed off her endless legs in a pair of sky-scrapper, sparkly, silver, strappy sandals. She rocked a sweet, black ankle brace that was easily seen underneath her shoe straps. We're sure her doctor told her to wear flats, but you can't part a girl from her heels. Srsly, though.

Taylor performed without a hiccup, and made her sore ankle her be-otch. We're guessing she just shook off the pain...(Sorry, we had to.)

This really shouldn't be as funny as it is, but for some reason, we can't stop laughing at it.

The only thing more terrifying than a spider existing anywhere in the world is discovering its creepy-crawly presence IN your bed. Trust us, if you've ever had it happen, that smooth softness of your sheets will never feel quite as relaxing. Literally EVERY tickle you feel is suddenly a black widow whose sole purpose in life is to kill you.

These girls pretty much captured the essence of how we feel when we see a spider and it happened in the most glorious way as they discovered it on the front-facing camera during a selfie.

Now, for the slow-mo version...we didn't notice this until we looked at it frame-by-frame, but the friend on the right actually noticed it first, but she's fully committed to the selfie and not quite sure if it's a spider or something much less ominous.

Caitlyn Jenner was in Chicago today, speaking at an event for Chicago House, a non-profit organization that provides housing, employment and other services to individuals and families who are disenfranchised by HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ marginalization, poverty, homelessness, and/or gender nonconformity, and as she left, she was confronted by a group of protesters.

One particular protester, who used a megaphone, can be heard yelling, "You are an insult to trans people...you are an insult to women." The 66-year-old felt compelled to address the group and can be seen calmly addressing one of them, but it's tough to hear their interaction over the megaphone.

According to an "I Ain't Cait" event on Facebook, they explained what they were protesting and it was the fact that they feel Cait doesn't represent the trans community because of her celebrity status and privilege.

In the event description, they lamented that someone "who lives in a mansion and has a net worth of millions of dollars, while the average trans person has a 41 percent chance of experiencing homelessness and a nearly 50 percent chance of living off less than $10k per year," was chosen to speak on the issues facing trans women in their city.

The event's organizer tells Entertainment Tonight that, "The point was to get people to come and talk about trans issues. Because she's been the subject of media scrutiny for decades, she's in a unique position to take whatever criticism she gets for speaking out on behalf of trans people who need help. She owns the fact that she has a ton of privilege."

A production source told ET that I Am Cait cameras were with her at the event and it looks like they were rolling during the confrontation.

Okay, we're already sufficiently bummed out that One Direction are taking a break - but this new bit of info has us all kinds of devastated.

During their sit-down with BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge today, Liam Payne kind of oh-so-casually dropped a bombshell like no other.

1D's break is going to be two years long!

Wait. What??? We thought they were just taking the year off for a breather.

While chatting about what they have planned during their hiatus, Liam talked about having the time to write songs without their usual jam packed schedule.

He explained, "Well we're all going to take a break for a little bit first and then consider where we are in the world." Okay. Fair enough. We get it...they deserve that.

Liam continued: "I just want to write songs. That's been the most fun process out of this, except for touring, has been the writing of the songs. We're going to come back so there's something to write for as well, so for us and for other people..."

"We haven't really had time to write an album and whereas two years off...writing's not really a job, it's so much fun," he explained.

He added, "We've always had to rush it, so it's going to be nice in these two years I'm going to write a few songs and see what happens."

TWO years. So. Yeah. We'll just be curled up in a ball over in the corner. Sadface.

The scripted drama from The Hills may have hopped into a luxury SUV and rolled off into reality TV sunset several seasons ago, but fans know that the show will never completely fade into oblivion. Former Hills star Justin Bobby's interview with Complex magazine is partially to blame for re-opening the floodgate for those flashbacks of Lauren Conrad's mascara-streaked face to start up again (as if they ever stopped).
However, it doesn't take a flashback to tell you that Spencer Pratt's appearance on the show was marked by total insanity (crystal obsession, anyone?), which makes Justin Bobby's revelation about the so-called "realest" Hills cast member sound all the more cray.

"Spencer Pratt actually just hit us up about a month ago. He's always giving love. He's kind of one of my favorite people that I worked with," Justin told the mag. "He was just the realest. It was in your face and aggressive, but every time I was with him, sitting with him, he was just speaking a lot of truth and you can't really f**k with someone who's speaking truth."

Um...OK, Justin Bobby. Given that you are #hairgoals personified, we would totally entrust every last one of our professional hair care needs to you and your organic shampoo line. But TBH, naming Spencer as #BFFGoals has us giving you all kinds of side eyes.

Ah, young love. It's so full of hope, isn't it?

However, if there's one thing that the Zerrie breakup or split between Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton has taught us this year, it's that love doesn't always work out the way that we intend it to.

In our opinion, the only thing harder than going through a breakup firsthand is watching your BFF go through something so painful...

As a certified BFF, your sole purpose is to be the one person who makes life just a little bit easier for your bestie. But that job can be SUPER difficult to do when something like a breakup occurs and there's just so much that's out of your control.

But have no fear, it's Cambio to the rescue!

If you're in the process of cheering up a BFF who's currently bummed from a recent breakup, here are a few tips as to how to get them through it in a healthy and effective manner:

1. "Lean on me"
The worst thing that you can do for someone who's struggling through a breakup is to disregard their feelings. Being a good BFF means being that shoulder that they may need to cry on and allowing them to vent their problems to you (even if it means listening for hours on end).

They say that the first step to every solution is admitting that there's a problem. Well, the same is true in this case. The only way that your friend will get through this tough situation is if she (or he) accepts what's happened and is able to release all the anger that she may have been harboring.

2. Words of affirmation
Breakups are especially rough because not only are you saying goodbye to someone that means/meant so much to you at one point in your life, but also you're forced to cling to your confidence which always takes a huge hit!

Whether you're the one who initiated the breakup or were the one who was broken up with, you're always left doubting yourself. Did I make the right decision...? Is there something wrong with me? What do I do now?

When your BFF falls into this stage, your job is to kick that self-doubt right out the window! Speak to her using words that remind her of all her amazing qualities. Allow your words to be the reason that she refuses to give up.

3. Who says you can't have a relationship with food?
I don't care what anyone says, there's nothing more comforting than some wholesome junk food. After all, they don't call it "comfort food" for nothing, right?

Sure, they may have been dieting...or maybe they were trying to eat well to avoid having to explain yet another cavity to their family dentist. But, hell, we're young and rather than focusing on tomorrow's dietary consequences, focus your energy on helping them enjoy today.
So you know what that means...pizza, ice cream, corn dogs! Turn their room into the greasiest, sweetest, and saltiest buffet that this planet has ever seen and watch the breakup stress fade away with every calorie they consume.

(Trust me, it works!)

4. The Great Outdoors
No, this does not mean go on a hike or a camping trip in the middle of the woods. I simply mean that, as their BFF, your job is to snap them back to reality...

You can't allow them to stay in that post-breakup slump...you know the one I'm talking about - that "I-don't-want-to-open-the-curtains-the-sun-is-not-my-friend-I-refuse-to-socialize-with-another-human-being-leave-me-here-to-cry-in-peace" attitude that we all sometimes fall into. The BFF is responsible for taking them out and refreshing their memory of everything that they used to do and love before they were in a relationship.

Go ice-skating! Go shopping! Go to a concert! Just go somewhere that will take their mind off of their ex and open their eyes to all the things that they have to look forward to in their new single life.
Overall, the perfect BFF is there for them. Every person is different and handles hardships differently; understanding that and presenting yourself as someone who is genuinely present and caring will always be the most effective remedy to any heartbreak that your BFF experiences!

Caitlyn Jenner's first public appearance after her Vanity Fair cover was at the ESPYs, where she was presented with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. That was also the first time she spoke in front of a crowd as Caitlyn - and while she did plenty of public speaking when she was living as "Bruce Jenner," Cait was understandably very nervous about showing everyone her true self in such a public manner.

Fortunately, everything went really well and Cait's children and stepchildren were all there to support her. During that time, there was still a lot of tension between Cait and her ex, Kris Jenner, so the kids were hesitant to tell Kris that they were going to be at the ESPYs without her.

In this sneak peek from this week's season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Facetime Kris to tell her that they're going and she actually takes it REALLY well. She was able to put their personal things aside and was appreciative of the fact that they were going to support Cait.

Kourt, Kim and Khloe also had a great idea to skip the afterparty and take Kris to dinner after the event instead, which was really cool of them.

Since that time, Kris and Caitlyn have really worked through a lot of things and Kim just said they're finally in "a really great place," which is great news!

Kendall and Kylie Jenner looked stunning and as close as ever at the ESPYs, but who knew that all of this was going on right before they got there?

In this sneak peek from this week's Keeping Up With The Kardashians season premiere, Kendall wants to borrow one of Kylie's dresses and Kylie is NOT having it. Apparently, it's her favorite dress and there is absolutely no way she's letting Kendall wear it.

Kenny is bummed because she can't sit in the dress she's wearing and when you're going to an event where you're literally going to be sitting for hours, that's kind of important.

We know Kourtney Kardashian loves being pregnant, but she is definitely the exception, not the norm.

Pregnancy is uncomfortable, painful, stressful, emotional - and a million other things that suck. Of course, we endure it because the payoff is totally worth it. Still, it's not exactly enjoyable.

In a new interview with E! News, Kim Kardashian got very candid about her pregnancy, admitting that she is definitely NOT enjoying it the way her sister did.

"I'm really not complaining, I'm just being honest and being honest about [it]. I hate it. You know pregnancy is not for me," she admitted. "You know I've heard stories forever about how amazing pregnancy is from my mom and Kourtney and that's just not the case for me and I'm not going to sit here and lie and act like it's the most blissful experience. It's awful."

She also revealed that she's gained 52 pounds and she still has over a month to go! Still, she knows that it's all going to be worth it in the end. "I just don't think pregnancy and me really agree with each other," she confessed. "You know, it was really hard for me to get pregnant so I do feel really blessed that I am pregnant and, at the end of the day, it is a million times worth it."

Ever wonder exactly how Facebook manages your News Feed? We know it orders things based on what it thinks you'll like - but isn't that a pretty big job for a computer?

At the Techonomy conference earlier this week, Facebook Director of Product Adam Mosseri explained exactly what goes into that process, and it's a lot more complicated than we could have ever expected. Mosseri says that the average person has the potential to see about 2,000 Facebook posts a day, but probably only sees about 200. As PC Mag writes:

"Mosseri said the company uses a blend of automated ranking and manual curation by individual users to determine the feed. At the heart of this is a ranking algorithm that looks at all the content it could show, and determines what to show based on the things you like."

However, Mosseri says that they are always trying to improve the success rate of the algorithm to pick posts you'll like, and that they take into account three goals when they are deciding how relevant a piece of content is: first, to connect you with friends and family, second, to provide information about the world around you and third, to entertain.

When it's ranking content, Facebook ranks content based on whether you like, comment, share or spend time with a post. There is also a "feed quality control" panel scattered across the world that manually ranks stories, which Facebook then compares against the algorithm rankings.

The bottom line is that your Facebook friends are the most important thing in determining what you see in your Facebook News Feed. So if you want to take some control over what you see, just unfollow people - they won't get a notification or anything!

Christina Aguilera is completely supportive of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's relationship...and she's not afraid to talk about it.

When asked what she thought about them dating, the songstress told Us Weekly, "I've known Gwen for a really long time. We went to each others' kids birthday parties, we share the same management, and Blake I know now from the show."

"The two of them are both great people," she continued. "Gwen's such a great mother and a hard-working mother too! It's not easy to juggle The Voice and music and children - it takes a strong woman. And obviously I'm always in support of that. And I do know what it's like to go through a divorce myself, and it's tough!"
And she doesn't hesitate to give them advice. "I keep telling them both to stay strong and have fun!" Christina said. "Divorce and life is hard enough! If you find someone who makes you happy, you gotta go for it. So they deserve it and they deserve to be happy!" Christina called it quits with her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman, in 2010. Meanwhile, Gwen and Blake both split with their respective spouses earlier this year.

"It's a subject that really hits home with me because I've always been pretty vocal and open about my own experiences in witnessing domestic violence in the home and neighboring homes around me, so it was something that was pretty constant in my younger upbringing," Christina went on. "That's why for me, it's so important for me to speak my truth and helping others to find theirs and to find their own hope in a hopeless situation."

Earlier this month, Gwen's rep confirmed that she and Blake are dating, following weeks of speculation. They went on to make their first public appearance together at a CMAs after party and haven't looked back.

Just wow.

Conrad Sewell may have one of our favorite voices ever. The 27-year-old singer from Brisbane, Australia is finally making waves here in the states with his singles "Start Again" and "Hold Me Up." Not to mention Conrad's voice is the one you hear on Kygo's hit track "Firestone." As Conrad's gearing up to release his debut album in 2016, we got to learn about his musical past and got a scoop of the future.

"Michael Jackson was a massive influence on me," Conrad told us. "The movie Sister Act 2, Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye. Everything from the Motown era was always playing in my house." He credits his mom for this, "She was a big fan of Diana Ross. It was great songs and great soul voices that inspired me to be a singer."

Like two of his personal influences, Usher and Justin Timberlake, Conrad writes his own music too. "I did write the song," he said about his ballad "Start Again." He penned it when he first arrived in Los Angeles. "It was my first heartbreak song really. I had just broken up with my girlfriend and I had a lot of feelings. It sort of just poured out of me one night," he explained. Hey, sometimes you have to strike when the iron's hot, right?

Conrad seems to have a knack for writing songs fast. Just like his other hit, "Hold Me Up." "It came together really quickly," he said. "I was in the studio hunting around for a really feel good uptempo pop song and it sort of fell into my lap. We were having fun with it and it's just an uplifting and high energy song."

It didn't take very long for us to learn that Conrad's sister is Australian singer Grace! "We never talked about working together," he explained. "We've always been solo musicians and we've always done our own things, but we've always been very involved in each other's lives and careers." Grace only goes by her first name in the music world. "She just chose not to use our surname, for whatever particular reason."

The Australian native is starting to gain worldwide recognition, but he's no rookie to the business. He's toured with Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran, who both taught him a thing or two. "With Adam, I learned how important it is to take care of your voice and to stay healthy. He inspired me to sort of want to be doing this 15 years from now and still looking and sounding as great as he does." We second that!
"With Ed, I learned how to stay humble and to go out there and give your everything every night because that's just what he does," Conrad shared. "Its amazing listening to him play those songs every night, he's such an incredible songwriter. It's inspiring to think that you can potentially write that song one day that's going to change everything for you."

So what's next? "2016 hopefully is going to be the year of Conrad," he laughed. His debut album is anticipated to drop early next year. "It's going to be a big soulful pop record that has some timeless songs on it. If 'Hold Me Up' and 'Start Again' fit under that umbrella, then yes you can expect more of that. But hopefully a bit more and really get to the depth that's in my songwriting."

Yikes. Potterheads may be coming for Emma Watson's neck after she dissed Hermione Granger's hair.

In an interview with Vogue Italia, the 25-year-old actress recalled what she most disliked about Hermione in 2001's Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

"When I see the images of the first 'Harry Potter,' I immediately think of how ugly my hair was," Emma told the fashion magazine.

Oof, Emma. You may need to cast an Accio spell to summon up some forgiveness, should Harry Potter fans take issue with such a huge jab at Hermione's famously towering, tousled tresses.

Hermione's huge hair was a part of her charm and took nothing away from the fact that she was a total #bosschick. That said, we're not too outraged by Emma's admission. Sure - she's all about feminism, constantly drops #truthbombs that every woman can benefit from, called out sexism in Hollywood and even launched the HeForShe gender equality campaign. All that awesomeness might make her appear to be a superwoman to many, but the fact that she openly admitted she wasn't feelin' Hermione's hair just makes her that much more relatable.

Although Hermione was the epitome of #hairstruggles, there's nothing wrong with intelligent, accomplished women like Emma wanting those locks on fleek at all times.

Khloe Kardashian seemed to be really happy dating James Harden, who she was with for a few months before Lamar Odom was hospitalized on October 13 and Khloe dropped everything to be by his side. When she and Lamar called off their divorce at the last minute, everyone figured that meant the end of Khloe and James and a new beginning for Khloe and Lamar, but Khloe has since revealed that that's not the case at all.

She and James are still together AND she's still supporting Lamar. "I love him and I always will and he's a fantastic person who deserves support and love and for someone to be by his side," she reveals on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, set to air November 16. "And thank God I have a fantastic family who loves me and loves him just as much and they're so supportive and they're with me and I have a great boyfriend who is understanding."

She also explained that she understands their situation is "unique," but James has been really great and supportive about the whole thing. She also says the press is making it out to be more complicated than it really is and that their inner circle knows what is and isn't happening.

In typical Khloe fashion, she was even able to find some humor in the crazy set or circumstances, joking, "I'm just gonna say I'm like part of polygamy now - I have a husband, I have a boyfriend - that's a way easier thing to say."

Then, when Ellen reminded her that you have to be married to multiple people to be a true polygamist, Khloe didn't necessarily scoff at the idea of marrying James! We don't want to get ahead of ourselves, though!

Tinder dates always pose the risk that you'll have to spent some time with a dude who doesn't quite match up to his app persona, but while most people's biggest problem on these dates is the lack of spark, not everyone has left a Tinder date as unscathed. Take London-based blogger Lauren Crouch, whose date demanded that she pay him back for coffee after she declined a second outing.

Lauren chronicles her dating misadventures on her Tumblr page "No Bad Dates, Just Good Stories," which is exactly where this story ending up post-date. Lauren decided to meet up with a Tinder user at a nearby coffee shop, and things got weird almost immediately. The unnamed date invited her to his home for dinner within minutes of meeting her, and didn't seem to get the hint when she said she wasn't comfortable with the idea. He then left their date early to go wait for a delivery at his house, only to text her later asking for a second date. When she declined due to "lack of chemistry," things got seriously weird. Upon hearing that Lauren (shockingly!) wasn't interested in pursuing a romantic relationship, the guy decided to drop his pursuit of Lauren and go after her money instead. Apparently spending $5 on coffee is only worth it to the guy if he gets something out of it: Lauren declined the request - even though he was kind enough to provide her with his bank account information for the money! - but did cheekily offer to send the same amount of cash to the charity of his choice.

I wish I could say that this is the first time I've ever heard of someone demanding money back after a date didn't go as planned, but sadly, similar situations have happened to a few women that I know. (A guy my friend turned down after the first date asked for money for her dinner and the number of her "cute" friend. You can't make this stuff up.) Any guy worth spending time with knows that dates aren't transactions: you don't get your "money back" if your date doesn't provide you with a relationship, sex, or even a second date. That's a gross, sexist notion that objectifies women and makes the world a little less safe for them to exist in.

Here's hoping that Lauren has a string of better dates in her future, and that not every guy she meets on Tinder is a certified creep.

Khloe Kardashian has been by Lamar Odom's side since he was hospitalized on October 13 after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel and while we've been hearing some conflicting reports about his health status, Khloe sets the record straight in this new interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, set to air November 16.

As expected, there have been a lot of ups and downs...

"He is off of all machines that help his organs, but he still has such a long way to go," she revealed. "He's learning how to walk again and feed himself again and put sentences together and cognitively there's a lot...there's like...it's a long, long road ahead." A long road that Khloe has vowed to be by his side and support him on.

He's able to understand things and sometimes he's able to talk and put words together, sometimes he's not.

As far as what he's been told: He doesn't know what happened to his brain - they just tell him he's had a brain injury, but they won't tell him HOW that brain injury occurred as they're afraid that it will set him back. Fortunately, he hasn't asked.

Still, he's very confused and he has good days where he knows his birthday and who the President is and then he has bad days where he doesn't know how old he is. "Sometimes he thinks he's 26 [he's 36]," she explained. "And I say I bet you wish you were 26, so do I!"

Khloe explained that the stroke affected part of the brain that handles emotions, but he's been able to smile and laugh at appropriate times, which is encouraging. One of the first times they saw him laugh was when he was watching Ellen's show.

We continue to wish Lamar all the best in his recovery.

If you can't beat 'em, distract 'em.

That appears to be the approach that Starbucks has taken in the wake of the people claiming the company's holiday cups are anti-Christmas (insert deep side-eye here). The company recently capped off its fall-themed pumpkin spice latte craze by announcing their ugly Christmas sweater cookies (which sound amazing, BTW), a new seasonal drink called the Holiday Spiced Flat White as well as a new tea-based gingerbread drink. Now rumor has it that an alleged secret Starbucks holiday menu is available.

According to Glamour, patrons can still request their favorite seasonal drinks, but they can also opt to spice things up a bit with the following six secret menu items: Apple Pie Frappucino, Biscotti Frappucino, Candy Cane Frappucino, Christmas Cookie Frappucino, Cinammon Crunch Frappucino and S'mores Hot Chocolate.

Now, why the good ol' folks at Starbucks would want to keep this tastiness to themselves is beyond human comprehension, but the thirst for their yummy festive offerings is real. Fortunately, The Look has provided the recipes to each of the seasonal drinks.

But be sure to commit these mouthwatering recipes to memory quickly, though, because the so-called Starbucks secret six won't be available come January.

It's already an emotional day for One Direction fans, with the release of the band's new album Made In the A.M. and their break now rumored to be two years long. Niall Horan took to Twitter to share his own emosh moment and really shout out love for the fans.

And we're not okay.

Niall tweeted: "So I'm in my house and ‪@CalAurand stayed tonight . He showed me some unseen footage that he has taken over the last 4 years he's been round."

He continued: "There's a particular piece on you guys ... I just wanna say thank you so much . The dedication, the love , the support , the everything."

Niall added: "You guys are incredible . And I really really hope you love our album as much as we love it ..xxxxx."

Are you crying yet? Also? We'd love to snag a peek at that unseen footage!

As for the upcoming break, Niall recently told Digital Spy: "For the first six months I'm planning on not doing much at all. Just sitting around, doing a bit of traveling and playing a bit of golf."

He added: "That's pretty much what my year is going to consist of. I'm sure I'll do a couple of bits in between to keep my head ticking over, but I can't see myself doing much. It'll be a good time for us to sit back and reflect on what we've achieved. As we've gone along we've never really had the chance to do that."

So yeah, we think they're totally deserving of the time off - and can only hope they keep us in the loop a little bit while they're enjoying the rest and relaxation.
