Eating a burger in a haute couture gown and not spilling on it or busting a seam is kind of like a dream. This is the next best thing.
There's a colorful McDonald's crop top paired with a burger-wrapper colored tiered skirt, a mesh dress covered in McDonald's logos and pieces of cups, a pencil skirt created with straw wrappers and a full-out wedding dress made of nearly 1,000 (!) crinkled wrappers complete with a French fry container bouquet.
The idea for the collection started with a South Florida McDonald's franchisee who came up with the idea to present their food in a stylish way. Every piece in the McDCouture collection was created from the fast food chain's products, including 1,770 fry boxes, 1,100 straws, 600 to-go bags, 500 sandwich boxes, 200 soft drink cups, 500 ketchup holders, and 100 McFlurry cups. That's a lot of fast food.
The whole collection came out so creative and fierce that we have to give the budding fashion designers serious props for taking on the challenge and nailing it. We're lovin' it!
