This Weird AF Mushroom Can Actually Make You Prettier

0
0
tremellaIt's no secret that Korean beauty products are developed with some of the most innovative technology in the world - and their popularity in the U.S. has been holding strong for years.

But the genius scientists behind the formulas sometimes use weird AF ingredients to make these cutting-edge new products. Case in point: the Tremella mushroom.

These weird curly fungi, which have been used in Asian beautifying methods for centuries, are becoming a key component in the Korean beauty trend of "aqua filling," which is basically excessively hydrating the skin. But how do these dried-up clumps play a role in packing your face full of water?

"Tremella, a fungus mushroom, is one of the few ingredients in nature that has polysaccharides that can hold up to 500 times its water weight," say Christine Chang and Sarah Lee, co-founders of Korean beauty e-commerce site Glow Recipe. "When dried Tremella is soaked in water, it blossoms almost instantly to a beautiful flower-looking state that visibly shows how Tremella really anchors and binds moisture to plump skin."

It's nicknamed "white jelly fungus," probably because of the way it resembles a jellyfish after it has absorbed water, and it's one of the most effective natural alternatives to sodium hyaluronate out there. Sodium hyaluronate is a derivative of hyaluronic acid, which is the carbohydrate that naturally occurs in the human body and is responsible for keeping babies' skin so plump and elastic. Literal baby-soft skin? You can sign us up.

Zac Efron Lookalike Commits Suicide, Friends Ask Actor for Help

After 24-year-old Rhys McNaughton took his own life, his grieving friends are reaching out to the actor he bared a striking resemblance to: Zac Efron.

In a letter posted on Facebook, friend James Healey wrote, "I wouldn't often do this and I don't even know how responsive celebrity pages are but I am going through a tough time at the moment and want to share a story with you about my friend Rhys... affectionately known as Zeffa. Rhys was a loving and caring guy, but had passion for life that you rarely see. He was a candle that burnt so brightly everyone followed blindly; we were all immediately wrapped up in this rollercoaster."

"Zac, I am reaching out to you because just last week Rhys took his own life," he continued. "An absolute shock to everyone around him, and the greater community the loss of our Zeffa was massive and devastation. I still cannot comprehend that a true gentleman like Rhys who had everything you would ever want could feel so sad inside and not be able to tell us."
"I'm asking if you could please spare some time, your thoughts and love to help us reach our goal and raise awareness of depression and suicide for your true, one and only doppelganger, Zeffa, our dear friend Rhys," he went on. A family friend told The Daily Mail, no one was aware that Rhys had suicidal thoughts. "No one was aware of what he (Mr McNaughton) was going through, no one was," the friend said.

Following his death, Rhys' friends started a campaign through the Movember Foundation to raise $10,000 for men's mental health issues. Movember is a charity month that encourages young men to grow facial hair for donations that raise money for men's health. So far, they have exceeded that, raising over $25,000 to date.

So far, Zac hasn't commented about Rhys or the fundraiser on social media, but we hope the letter makes it his way at some point. Sending our thoughts to Rhys' friends and family, and cheering them on as they continue to exceed their fundraising goals in his honor of their loved one.

Did Kylie Jenner Just Reveal That She and Tyga Have Broken Up Before?

We have to admit, our hearts skipped a beat when we heard Kylie Jenner admit that she'd broken up with Tyga - but don't worry, it's in the past - and the fact that we did freak out a little bit is exactly why Ky has kept their relationship so quiet.

She knows that fans get kind of attached (guilty as charged!) and she doesn't really want to have to explain it to more than 41 million fans every time she and Tyga have a little tiff, which they do, because they're a normal couple.

In her new interview with ELLE Canada, she said that she's tried to keep their relationship fairly private for that reason. "I do think that if you let people in too deep, it gets hard - your fans get too invested, and then they know when you break up and make up," she admitted.
Celebrity Sightings In New York City - October 29, 2015
"I don't want people to know every time we fight or break up, so I'd rather keep some things private," she continued. That being the case, she says she doesn't think she'll ever be "super public" about her relationships.

She does, however, understand that parts of her life are going to be public whether she wants them to or not. "I always try to remind myself that it comes with the lifestyle," she said. "If you look at other celebrities who get the same sort of attention as I do, they are barely on Instagram or they don't even Snapchat - but I love to share!"

And we love it when she does! We'd be lying if we said we weren't totally obsessed with Kylie's Snapchat...and her Instagram...and her Tumblr...

Move Over, Oreo: Chips Ahoy's Hot Cocoa Flavor Sounds Awesome

Kraft Deal Puts More Pressure On Low-Growth FoodmakersIf you thought that Oreos were the only cookies to have ah-mazing limited-edition flavors, take another look around your supermarket, because this cookie company is killing it. Chips Ahoy just released a new cookie flavor, and it sounds perfect for winter - mostly because it is inspired by a classic Christmas-y beverage. Hot Cocoa flavored Chips Ahoy are officially here, and you need this snack in your life.

Whether you're a fan of the crunchier Chips Ahoy or the softer cookie varieties, you have to admit that this flavor combo sounds pretty tasty. The Hot Cocoa flavor of Chips Ahoy is a soft chocolate cookie that has both chocolate and marshmallow chips baked inside of it, and that's not even the best part of this cookie. If you want to really kick up the flavor, you can nuke the cookie for a few seconds in the microwave, which really enhances that hot chocolate-y taste.

I have to say that while I'm stoked Chips Ahoy is making a holiday-ish flavor, I'm happy that they are going a different direction than the kinda-sorta-basic gingerbread and peppermint cookies that we'll see flooding the market come December. Chips Ahoy is going for a classic cookie this year, and I know I'll be stocking my pantry with at least one box before these babies are gone for good. Hey, it's the holidays, right?

Congrats! Teen Mom Star Gary Shirley Marries Kristina Anderson

Congratulations are in order for Teen Mom star Gary Shirley, who is now officially a married man! He's actually been secretly married for awhile, as The Ashley's Reality Roundup exclusively reports that Gary and girlfriend Kristina Anderson obtained a marriage license and tied the knot on September 28!

While the secret wedding is obviously a surprise for fans, it's even more shocking because they never even announced that they were engaged.

The couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Emilee, six months ago. This is the second child for each of them, as they both have daughters from previous relationships - Kristina with her ex husband and Gary with ex-girlfriend and fellow Teen Mom star, Amber Portwood.
Speaking of Amber, she's going to be walking down the aisle soon, too! The 25-year-old is engaged to boyfriend Matt Baier and the pair plan to tie the knot in October of next year.

This New Smart Ring Collection Is Literally 'Hotline Bling'

TinglyWe all love the idea of tech wearables, but, real talk: Most of us wouldn't be caught dead in one of them if they didn't actually serve a purpose.

That's why we've been obsessed with Ringly since they first hit the market 10 months ago. These smart rings will send you email, text, phone call and app notification alerts, totally customizable to the level of alerts you want to get (Do you only want text and call alerts from your boss? Or do you want to be alerted every single time someone likes one of your Instagram pics?), and we'd wear them even if they didn't do all that. We're totally fangirling right now because today, Ringly launched its Libra Collection, timed right for the holidays (you reading this, bae?).

The new collection features rhodium-tone plating and semiprecious gemstones including black onyx ("Opening Night"), pink chalcedony ("Daybreak") and labradorite ("Wanderlust"), as well as tourmalated quartz ("Dive Bar"). The gunmetal hue is a more understated, edgy departure from the gold-plated offerings that were only available before. Each of the rings retails for $195.

RinglyRingly is now synced with more than 50 apps; most popular among users are Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and even Tinder. Talk about some Hotline Bling, amirite?

Ringly founder and CEO Christina Mercando d'Avignon came up with the business idea out of her own need for such an invention.

"'What if I could have the most relevant information sent to me without it really being distracting to what I was doing or who I was with?'" Christina says. "I looked down at my hands and saw this jewelry I was wearing, and so many women I know wear jewelry and it doesn't do anything today. 'I wonder if I could put technology in here to make it smart and have it help me'...so I was trying to create a product for myself and for all of the other women I knew who had this frustration as well."

Christina plans to launch a bracelet collection as well as introduce new ring designs early next year. Ringly has also announced a partnership with MasterCard so that the rings also serve as a wallet- and phone-free form of payment. Brilliant.

So, ladies, if you like it...put a ring on it!

This 24-Year-Old Is Tired of People Saying He Doesn't 'Look Disabled'

There are sadly too many stories of people being shamed because someone looks at them and decides they don't "look disabled." People have had mean notes left on their cars, they've been yelled at by strangers, they've been called liars - all because some random person - who has no business even asking -decides they don't fit their vision of what a disability looks like.

This 24-year-old is setting out to change that, reminding people that they shouldn't be so quick to judge and that they have NO idea what someone is going through just by taking a quick glance at them.

Posted by Ste Walker on Sunday, October 25, 2015

"People are too quick to judge these days, just because I look normal and speak normal, that doesn't mean I don't have a major disability," Ste Walker shared on Facebook, along with the split shot below. "To look at me I look like any normal guy my age, but that's because I want you to view me like that....look abit closer tho, or ask me questions, and you will soon realise that I have a major illness..."

He then detailed everything he has going on under that 'normal-looking' exterior. Ste has Crohn's Disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract. As a result, he has tubes going in and out of his body, helping him deal with various complications of the disease. And that's not even all of it. Ste also explains the mental impact the disease has had on him, as he hasn't even been able to eat a meal in TWO years.

In his incredibly poignant message, Ste concludes:

"So the next time someone says to me 'well you look perfectly fine, why are you using that disabled toilet, or parking in that disabled spot, your conning the system, your not disabled, you don't need that walking stick' just stop and think maybe I just want TO BE FINE or to feel normal, you don't no what I go threw on a daily basis and you have no right to judge me just on your perception of me that you can see because you don't no what goes on inside.....so stop and think before you speak, think about the struggle I've gone threw just to get out of bed and get dressed and tried to look 'normal'...."

Wow, that's some pretty powerful stuff. Given that Ste's post has gone viral, we're really hoping this will inspire some compassion and will help people see that things aren't always what they seem.

One Direction Explain Why They Need a Break: 'We're All a Bit of a Mess'

the reason one direction are taking a breakFive years of touring, albums, and interviews can take a toll. That's why the One Direction guys are totally in need of this planned hiatus. Like, they have to do it to recharge and get a taste of the normal life so they can come back together refreshed.

Also, they admit they're "a bit of a mess" these days. Hey, their words...not ours.

Liam Payne told The Mirror the real reason behind the break: "Basically we are all a bit of a mess."

Niall Horan added, "We've had five years of craziness. Now we all need to go away, become mad old recluses, then come back again with giant beards."

Oh, Nialler, we all know you can't grow a giant beard, silly!

Rebel Wilson Refused to Present With Kendall and Kylie Jenner at the VMAs

We didn't realize that when Rebel Wilson presented solo at the MTV Video Music Awards this year, she was actually supposed to be up there with Kendall and Kylie Jenner, but she didn't want to share the stage with them.

During her appearance on KIIS FM's Kylie and Jackie O Show in Australia, Rebel revealed that she was asked to present with them and she was like...

via GIPHY

"I said 'no,' I'd do it myself," she explained. "Not that you hate them individually, but it's something where what they stand for is totally against what I stand for...like...They seem a bit superficial and their career isn't really based on talent."

via GIPHY

"I know they're super popular, but I'm all about personality and working hard to get to where I am," she added. "How Kim Kardashian got famous was from a sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard."

Whoa...those are some pretty harsh words! Neither Kendall or Kylie has addressed Rebel's comments publicly (yet), but we'll definitely be keeping an eye on their Twitter accounts to see if that changes!

40 (Mostly Unrecognizable) Ingredients Go Into McDonald's Chicken Nuggets

0
0
Container of McDonald's chicken mcnuggets with a mcnugget on top of packaging in dipping sauce on white background cut outThere are two kinds of McDonald's people in this world: those who order chicken nuggets, and those who order a burger. Okay, so there are also vegetarians and fish sandwich freaks (I'm the latter, TBH) but for all intents and purposes, most people tend to pick between these two treats at McDonald's. If you were a burger person but switched to chicken after that whole awful "pink slime" video came out, I'm sorry to tell you that there may be just as many unrecognizable ingredients in your chicken nuggets. Nothing is safe anymore.

Food photographer Dwight Eschliman and food writer Steve Ettlinger have created a new book that will expose the ingredients in some of our tastiest fast food. They do this by breaking down all of the ingredients in a specific food and then taking a photo of what the ingredients look like on their own. While some of the ingredients look okay (I can get behind salt and bleached wheat flour in my nuggets) others, like "sodium aluminum phosphate" sound more like Hogwarts spells than something I would want in my body. They don't photograph well, either: these ingredients look like scary chemicals you would avoid touching in science class. Obviously, McDonald's isn't the only company guilty of putting less-than-wholesome ingredients in our food. While we can't blame McDonald's alone, this project is a reminder that we should aim for eating food that looks a little less scary when broken down into parts.

Why 5SOS' Ashton Irwin Thinks Taylor Swift Is 'Destructive'

0

5 seconds of summer not taylor swift fansWe already heard that 5 Seconds Of Summer's Michael Clifford was a bit sadface when Taylor Swift blocked his number, but now Ashton Irwin is weighing in - and thinks Mikey is better off without Tay.

During 5SOS' recent chat with Howard Stern, when the topic of dating Taylor came up, Ashton didn't sound super into the idea, explaining: "She feels a little destructive to me."

Remember when Michael was spotted at Tay's post-Jingle Bell Ball party? Now we finally get the dirt on what went down...basically a failed attempt at a love connection. Michael explained, "We went to her party...and then, she was there because it was her party...I'm cool and I was drunk and I was like 'hey, what up.'" Ashton thinks it all worked out, however, sweetening his "destructive" remark, by adding, "I think it's interesting, I think it's cool, I think she's a deep thinker. She has a lot of songs about some messed up relationships. I think some good songs would come out of it."

Now we're kind of dying to know what Michael said that made Taylor block his number...

This Is What Miranda Lambert Thinks of Those Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Rumors

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton 2014 CMT Music Awards - Backstage & AudienceWe might be surprised by those Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani hookup rumors, but there's one person who saw it coming...Blake's ex-wife Miranda Lambert.

The Voice coaches started all kinds of talk when they were spotted together at several Halloween parties in Los Angeles over the weekend. They were even seen holding hands and getting their PDA on, making us all hope that Miranda wasn't watching. You know that has to hurt!

According to E! News, the country singer isn't fazed, though. She actually saw the whole Blake and Gwen hookup coming.

"Miranda is at a point in her life where she is really focusing on herself and her music. This is a new chapter for her to create new relationships and really move on," the insider said.

"Miranda has been going through many personal changes over the past few months, but it's all for the better."

The source also added that, "She was not surprised to hear of the romance between Blake and Gwen. They were always pretty flirty...Miranda and Blake were on the rocks on and off and knew that this could always be a possibility."

"Blake is just a flirty kind of charmer," they continued. "She has nothing against Gwen and thinks she is a very talented artist. Whomever Blake is with she wishes them the best."

Way to take the high road, Miranda!

Miranda and Blake called it quits in July after four years of marriage. Since then both have opened up about their amicable split, and Blake even went out and referred to them as "buddies."

Friends of Essena O'Neill Are Calling Her Social Media Story 'a Hoax'

0

YouTube user @NinaAndRandaEarlier week, Instagram star Essena O'Neill announced her decision to quit social media, saying it's "not real life," causing a flurry of media attention over the past couple of days. Yesterday, Essena posted a grateful reaction video to the positive responses to her anti-social media crusade.

But it seems like a different opinion is surfacing on the interwebs. Vegan YouTube bloggers Nina and Randa, who claim they are friends with Essena and hosted her as a guest in their home when she recently visited Los Angeles, posted a video yesterday with the title "Essena O'Neill Quitting Instagram Is a Hoax." Essena mentioned the trip in her initial video that announced her decision to quit social media, but Nina and Randa are saying that the stories don't match up.

In the video, Nina and Randa say they and their LA squad are not depressed, as Essena had claimed, and even go into detail about the relationship Essena had first mentioned in their video's comments section.

"You yourself brought up X, a friend of ours for 5 years, as an example of fake, miserable LA people that lead you to make conclusions about social media," they write. "We merely pointed out that if the relationship with X had not abruptly ended, you would probably be living here in Los Angeles now. That's true, and the people who were around you at the time in LA know it."

Yikes, they really get into some personal s***. Their main point, besides picking apart her story, is that "social media is not a negative thing," a sentiment which Cambio Advice Muse and fellow vegan YouTuber Tiffany Ferguson agrees with in her own reaction video.

To further put Essena on blast, Nina and Randa claim that she's only been able to continue her fight against social media by using social media.

Then, very early this morning, Essena posted a video asking media to continue the conversation about social media that she started, but to talk about something more important than her. She said she would delete her Instagram (which she did), and also appears to have wiped out her YouTube account as well. Essena doesn't mention whether she'd seen Nina and Randa's vid, but Nina and Randa mentioned that they were replying to her in their comments section. However, we weren't able to find Essena's comment (probably because her account has since been deleted).

LET'S TALK ABOUT SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN ME, please? from Essena O'Neill on Vimeo.

The mixed reactions extend beyond the YouTube sphere; social media company Rise9 CEO Zack James made a statement on Facebook yesterday, claiming that, essentially, social media is what you make of it. "Blaming social media, calling it a lie, further shows your lack of attempt to understand yourself," Zack writes. "Yes, deleting your social media is a step in the right direction. Disowning personal responsibility for your own happiness and shifting the blame is a step backwards."

Despite these points, Essena still has a lot of support in the comments sections of Facebook and YouTube. Whose side are you on?

Khloe Kardashian Sets the Record Straight About Her Status With Lamar Odom

Khloe Kardashian is not apologizing to anybody who might be questioning her current situation with Lamar Odom OR her relationship with James Harden. And you know what? She shouldn't have to. In fact, she doesn't owe anybody any explanations at all, but she gave us one, anyway.

In her new interview with Yahoo! Style, Khloe explained that just because she called off her divorce from Lamar Odom following his hospitalization after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel, that doesn't mean they're going to give marriage another shot, either.

"There is so much more medically and emotionally that we have to go through in order to even think about anything romantically," she told them. "This is a very serious situation with a lot of layers. He has a long road ahead of him, and I will be there by his side. I will always love him unconditionally. That will never waver coming from me."

As for her relationship with James Harden, they're doing just fine, thank you very much. Khloe says, "James and I are great and we're on a great page. As of this moment, he's been very supportive. He and I are doing just fine."

She was recently spotted at one of his basketball games in Houston, which was one of the few times she's left Lamar's side over the last few weeks.

Which Winged Eyeliner Hack Works the Best?

0
0
Young Woman BeautyWinging your eyeliner can be one of the most impossible tasks of your makeup routine, leaving you cursing your favorite liner pen and screaming toward the heavens. Luckily, the Internet will always come to the rescue, providing you with Pinterest hacks and YouTube tutorials to teach you shortcuts to winging your liner with beauty and finesse. But do those hacks truly work? Which are actually worth your time, and which will leave you rubbing your eyes furiously, desperate to start over?

When testing out these methods, we used a felt tipped eyeliner pen, specifically Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner in black (Sephora, $19).

1. The Old Tape Trick
winged eyelinerThis is probably the most famous cat-eye shortcut. I've heard women swear and up and down about using tape to get the most precise line, but I've always been a little skeptical.

How it works: Apply tape to the ends of your lower lash line, reaching to the bottom of where your eyebrows end. Draw your wing at the edge of the tape, connect it back into a slight triangle, and then line the rest of your eye.

Look how pretty I look with tape under my eyes!

What We Thought:
eyelinerIn case you can't tell by the expression on my face, I was less than pleased by this method. First of all, it was hard to make the tape sit in just the right place under my lash line that would create a line back to my lid. For the most part, I had a line floating in space until I was able to connect it myself. Also, tape isn't that much of a straight edge! It crinkles with your eye, and it's insanely hard to get it to lay down flat. As a result, I got this jagged line (if you can see from the picture) that bends right by my crease.
eyelinerIt may be difficult to see, but the other side came out way too thick for reasons I'm still unable to explain. And similarly, it was a jagged, bendy line. Maybe I'm not great at this method, or maybe I'm overly critical of my eyeliner, but I wasn't a fan.

On to the next one!

2. Using a Spoon
eyelinerThis one comes to you courtesy of Cosmo. Up until this point, we've heard of people using the ends of butter knives for a straight edge, but never a spoon!

How it works: Use the end of the spoon to draw the straight edge of your flick from your crease to your lower lash line. To complete the swoop on the inside of your lid, place the actual spoon over your eye to get a nice curve.

What We Thought:spoonAgain, not so pleased. First thing I noticed is that it's not very pleasant having a spoon on your face. It's cold, and it presses into your eyelid in a way that really isn't very comfortable. But yet, beauty is pain, and I would have been willing to make the sacrifice if the look came out well.

But, it didn't. Spoons are even more difficult to keep in place for a straight edge than tape. When creating the rest of the swoop inside of lid, the curve of the spoon didn't match up with my eye very well, and the result is a strange, disfigured point sticking out of my eye. Also, the spoon set me up for failure with the rest of my lid, and the liner came out really jagged. Wouldn't recommend this, plus your mom may not like having liner on her spoons.

3. Drawing Your Wing Toward Your Eye Instead of Away
eyelinerIf you're looking for more freehand action, then Cosmo recommends this tip as well.

How it works: Instead of drawing your wing from the base of your lash line out, start where you want your flick to end, and draw toward your eye. This way, you can make your wings even on both sides, and decide the length without any mishaps.

What we thought: We're finally getting better! Drawing the wing downward gave me a lot more control on its shape and length. As a result, I was definitely able to achieve a much more precise look, even though I was doing it freehand. I was also able to avoid the crease in my eye that tends to make my liner bend. It takes a little getting used to but definitely approve!

Tip: If you want, mark two dots on each side of your eye of where your flick will end to make them more symmetrical.

4. Connecting the Dots
eyelinerIf you want more of a guide while making your line freehand, try connecting the dots.

How it works: Place dots strategically across your lid to make it easier to make a smooth line. When you connect the dots, fill the line in with liner and voila!

But to see it in more detail, definitely watch Eimear McElheron's tutorial!

What we thought: Love, love, love this! Look how crisp and precise that line is! Not only was it simple to make your wing when connecting the dots, any mistake you made was easy to fix because you had a stencil of what your liner is supposed to look like. This has to be the most on-fleek my liner has ever looked, and I am definitely trying this method again.

There you have it! Winged liner tricks may be a dime a dozen, but not all of them are created equal. If you want us to test any others, let us know in the comments below!

Lorde Chops Her Locks, Rocks a New Straight 'Do

Republic Records Private Post-VMA CelebrationRemember Lorde's long, luxe curly locks? Those are now a thing of the past.

The "Royals" crooner made jaws drop when she showed off a new 'do at the CFDA Awards Monday night in New York City, ditching her curly hair for a short, straight style instead. For the night's fashionable fete, Lorde rocked her hair in a half-up, half-down style, along with a black satin and lace dress.
12th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards - ArrivalsAfter Lorde mixed and mingled with a few fashion greats like Diane Von Furstenberg and celebs like Amanda Seyfried she kept it low key for the rest of the evening. "And as soon as the party finished I combed my fingers through my hair, threw on my boiler suit and yeezys and met the world's greatest publisher for a drink @theronperry," Lorde captioned a selfie on Instagram that she snapped on an elevator.
12th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards - InsideConsidering she celebrates her 19th birthday Nov. 7, maybe this was an early birthday hair switch-up. Either way, it's nice to see her make a change, and she can always go back to rocking it big and curly in this shorter style, which we have no doubt would slay.

This is the first major hair change Lorde has made since she rose to fame in 2013 with her hit "Royals," and we can't wait to see what else she does with it. #hairgoals

ACL Music Festival 2015 - Weekend 1Are you over H&M's #Balmaination yet? We've got the next high-fashion collab on lock.

Yesterday, The Weeknd and Alexander Wang teased some exciting news on Instagram, presenting followers only with the message to "stay tuned" and the cryptic hashtag #WANGXO, hinting of a fashion collab with The Weeknd's XO brand.

In other The Weeknd collaboration news (who knew there would be so many?), vaporizer company PAX released a significantly less exciting collaboration (none other than a vaporizer) with the "Can't Feel My Face" crooner. We get it bro. You vape.

Today, Alexander Wang posted a photo of The Weeknd rocking 100 percent Alexander Wang and WANGXO during his "Beauty Behind the Madness" fall tour, which kicked off in Toronto last night.

"WANGXO is a limited edition capsule collection, co-designed by Alexander Wang & #TheWeeknd's XO brand," reads the caption.
Judging by this teaser, there's going to be a lot of black involved, which, you probably know, is pretty exciting for us.

Here's What Khloe Kardashian Eats During a Typical Day

Khloe Kardashian has been sharing a lot of helpful fitness tips on her website and app, but as we all know, getting your sweat on is only half the battle. In fact, some argue that diet might be even MORE important than exercise.

Given that Khloe has pretty much become our fitspo, it stands to reason that we want to know what she's eating, too. Fortunately, Khloe was kind enough to share her daily diet in her new book Strong Looks Better Naked.

While we know "breakfast is the most important meal of the day," Khloe doesn't eat her breakfast until 3 hours after she wakes up - following a gym sesh, of course!

I'm not in the mood today.😝 Trying to motivate myself.

A photo posted by Khloé (@khloekardashian) on

Here's what a typical day in the life of Khloe looks like, food-wise:

5:00 a.m.: I'm up bright and early and have a huge glass of water and a black coffee.
6:00 a.m.: I'm off to the gym, ready to sweat.
8:00 a.m.: Breakfast is another big glass of water, my ideal oatmeal, and a protein shake.
11:00 a.m.: I snack on an apple with peanut butter or fruit and nuts.
1:00 p.m.: Lunch is a Chinese chicken salad.
3:00 p.m.: Snack time! Homemade hummus, chopped veggies, edamame, and another big glass of water (this time infused with fruit).
7:00 p.m.: Time for dinner. I usually keep it pretty clean, and my favorite go-to is steamed veggies and fish served with my Magic Mash-Up [A cauliflower mash recipe that she provides in the book] and a glass of water of course.
9:00 p.m.: I end my day with a bowl of fruit with plain Greek yogurt.

She also adds that she isn't a big fan of crash diets and prefers healthy lifestyle changes that you can sustain for the long term. "I want to say about food, it's this: Don't diet. When you diet, you are basically setting yourself up for failure," she writes. "I mean, the word die is in there! You're not allowing yourself to enjoy the food you love, and it will only make you want it that much more. Make smart lifestyle changes, one baby step at a time."

We love her healthy attitude and we couldn't agree more - it's about living healthy every day and eating what makes you feel good, which is different for everyone. For Khloe, she tries to steer clear of dairy and carbs when she can, but for you, it might be gluten or refined sugar or something else!

ariana grande fake tan fail apology to fans for meet and greetAriana Grande stepped out for a meet and greet today in London, where she appeared to be the victim of a fake tan fail. Or maybe it was just the lighting?

In some pics snapped at the event, Ariana looked a couple of shades darker and a little splotchy on her body as compared to her face. Eh. It happens to the best of them.

Ariana also took to Twitter to explain an issue with security that prevented her from being close to her fans. The whole scene left her "upset," but at least she explained what was up.

What Actually Happens to Breast Implants After You Die?

Serious fun thinking young woman looking upIt's not news that plastic surgery has pretty much become a normal thing nowadays. Expensive but still readily available, changing the shape of your nose or enhancing the size of your breasts is almost as easy as trying out a new hair color for the summer. But have you ever wondered what happens to all of these artificial bits and pieces we're willingly having installed into our bodies after we die? Do they break down with us, or when all is said and done, is the only thing left of us going to be a brittle skeleton and two big balloons of silicone?

Morbid, yes, but still pretty fascinating.
Woman cupping breastLuckily, we have L.A. mortician and YouTube vlogger Caitlyn Doughty to give us the answer. Lover of all things death, Caitlyn's entire channel, Ask A Mortician, is dedicated to answering all of the ghoulish and gruesome questions we may have about the afterlife. But what about fake boobs? Do they leak chemicals into the earth, mutating bugs into super-beings that start the apocalypse like we always suspected?

Turns out, not so much.

In her video, Caitlyn describes details her own experience with the breast implants of the dead. Basically, if a body comes to the crematorium with strangely large pair of you-know-whats, most morticians will not remove them before cremation. When the body is then cremated, what is left is an inorganic pile of bones, with all other parts (organs, skin, muscle) dissolved away. Breast implants, on the other hand, will melt down in the furnace, creating what Caitlyn refers to as a "gelatinous goo."

But apparently, the Cremation Association of North America has no problem scraping the goo off the machine, and continuing on their merry way. Gross.
grossIf the body is not being cremated, the BBC says that the implants will one again be left in. When the body is buried, the implants, like the rest of the body, will decompose naturally. And no, it will not cause a league of mutated bugs bent on human destruction (were we the only ones who thought that?)

So there you have it. Next time you're considering getting some alternations, remember, when you move from this world to the next, you may be leaving behind some fascinating curiosities for anthropologists of the future.
