This Emoji Makeup Tutorial Is So Great, You Can Skip the Costume

Real talk: it's hard to find a head-turning look for Halloween. Sure, you could always go as a sexy version of Pizza Rat, but just in case that's not your speed (or $90 sounds way out of your price range), a YouTuber has come up with a totally cheap and pop culture-friendly outfit that may just blow your mind. Makeup vlogger Alexys "Lex" Fleming just posted a sweet emoji makeup tutorial on YouTube, and it's everything your iMessaging heart desires.

This makeup is both simple and effective - everyone will know what you're going as, no matter what you decide to wear for the rest of your costume. (I suggest all black to keep the focus on your face. Not like that's hard to do, of course.) All you need is some face paint, Nyx cosmetics, and some patience to achieve this look.

To get the base of the emoji, Lex first applies yellow face paint with a foundation brush. She then outlines the circle with orange to get the outer rim of the emoji. The next steps all differ depending on which emoji you want to be. For the heart, Lex outlines her eyes with a white Nyx shadow stick to prime the eye, and then paints over it with bright red eye shadow. (This just so happens to be my fave emoji, so naturally I'm super into this tutorial!)Lex gives the specific steps for tons of your most-used emojis (snarky side-eye face, anyone?!) and all of them are just as simple as the next. Considering how many options there are, this might just be the group costume you and your friends have been waiting for. Now the real question is: who gets to be the "laugh until you cry" face?

Check out the full tutorial below:

Freida Pinto and Malala YousafzaiFierce female entrepreneur Stacey Boyd has a new project, and it not only helps better the world, but it gives you a head start on spring-cleaning. Stacey is currently the founder and CEO of Schoola, an online consignment website that sells gently used clothes and donates 40% of the profit to charity. Yeah, she's a bad bitch.

This isn't the first successful venture of Stacey's; she's the founder of Savvy Source, an online community that assists parents with maximizing their children's education, as well as launching and partnering with several other education-enhancing initiatives.

Schoola has had tons of success so far: Fortune reported that they've partnered "with 18,000 U.S. schools and provided as much as $68,000 to institutions like KIPP Academy Middle School in the Bronx, enough to fund its 'rhythm and string' orchestra for several years."

Pretty awesome, right? Schoola upped their level of amazing with the announcement that they are partnering with the Malala Fund, founded by Malala Yousafzai, who at 15 years-old survived a Taliban shooting after advocating for girls' education. She is currently the youngest person to win the Noble Peace Prize.

Her foundation's goal is to ensure girls all over the world have access to education (K-12), and now Schoola donors can choose to have the funds made from their secondhand clothing sales - 40%! - donated to the foundation.

Stacey spent time with Malala this year and knew she had to get involved, and thus their power-partnership was born. Us fierce females have to work together to make the biggest impact!

So how can you get involved? Sign up for Schoola and look out for its next project with the U.S. National Women's Soccer Team for a viral campaign driven by the hashtag stand #withmalala.

Stop Everything! There's a New Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Collaboration

Singers Selena Gomez and Justin BieberWe just died.

Justin Bieber is prepping to drop his new album Purpose, and while all of that is exciting in itself, a new collaboration featuring him and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez just leaked. We know, we know...OMG!!

The new track is titled "Strong." Don't worry, it's not a sex-song like that Rihanna and Chris Brown after-the-fact release after their breakup...ahem, "Birthday Cake".

But kind of like that one, Jelena's tune can be described as a stripped-down duet that has lyrics fans will likely be talking about for quite some time. It's pretty sexy, and slow. It definitely gives off a R&B sound. Their voices sound golden together. We dig like whoa.

"What should I do? Should I go? / Who do I talk to? Nobody knows," Bieber asked in the track. Sel is later heard singing, "Wishing I was better at this damn thing / Cause it's just been too long and I can't change."

The Biebs nor Selena talked up the tune on social media yet. That doesn't mean fans aren't freaking the EFF out over it, though. Talk about a friggin' surprise! We thought these two were not on good enough terms to even be in a sound booth together! Man, oh man...let's just hope they perform it together! #EPIC #GetBackTogetherJelena

Bieber's upcoming album comes out on November 13. In recent weeks, the former love birds have talked openly about their past relationship in separate interviews.

While opening up to the New York Times, Selena admitted that she is rooting for her ex's comeback. "While people were writing that I was stupid for being in [the relationship], this is what I always saw in him," she shared. "I'm like, duh!"

Meanwhile, Bieber can't help but remember the good times he shared with the former Disney star. "We were so in love. Nothing else mattered," he explained in Complex magazine.

"We were all about each other. But when it's like that and you get your value from that, people will always disappoint you. Your girl or your dude, they're always going to disappoint you."

Double Minorities In Tech: How Do We Close The Gap?

0
0
computer keyboard and periodic...It's nothing new that women are paid significantly less in several industries (Jennifer Lawrence just spoke about her personal experience with the gender pay gap in Hollywood), and tech is one of the industries that lacks the most equality among pay between men and women.

Adding more to the mix, diversity is another factor that has raised concern in terms of leadership roles and pay for women in tech. Women are already faced with a hurdle when looking for leadership roles in tech and achieving the same salary as men, but what if you're an African-American woman? Asian woman? Hispanic? Do these ethnicities find a larger struggle in addition to their gender, and how do we break this barrier?

Fast Company approached this issue in a recent interview with former Google employee
Jamesha Fisher, who in 2009 found herself in an internship at the staple company after graduating college from Depaul University.

Jamesha found herself wondering if her leadership position was because of her gender and African-American ethnicity, or if it was because of her talent. Imagine having that thought: Whether you're given an opportunity because of a statistic necessity, or because you actually deserve it? Being awarded for your hard work and goal-setting should be inspiring and rewarding, not concerning.

Let's take a step back: What prompts this type of thinking? Fast Company reports that, "Thirty years ago, women earned 37% of all computer science bachelors degrees, and that number has fallen to 12% today. Statistics from the National Science Foundation show that about 25% of those employed as computer scientists are female, while women make up about 17% of the engineering profession, and only one in five software developers is female."

This is nothing new - it's well known that women are underrepresented in the tech field, largely due to the lack of women that are seeking a job in STEM (science, tech, engineering, math.) The solution to the larger issue is to get more young girls involved with STEM through programs like NASA's Datanaut Corps initiative or with STEM-focused products like Jewelbots, a tech wearable for young girls.

What about women in tech now? Is it their job to be an activist for the minority in tech and be a platform for future women seeking a career in tech? Jamesha quotes to Fast Company that she's "not interested in being a trailblazer just to set a precedent for other women or minorities in tech. 'No job is worth losing your mind over,' she says. 'If you feel like you are suffering as a double minority or feel stigmatism is too much, don't stay there. You have all the right and power to go."

Jamesha talks about how she's an introvert by nature, and to overcome her fears she sought out a support system that served as a sounding board for her situation. Her point is that it's not always the best solution to fight fire with fire, quoting to Fast Company, "I don't think anybody should be like, 'Stick it out.' The key to making the leap less scary is to tap the support of communities."

What can be taken away from this is that sometimes it's more brave to walk away from a situation in order to achieve your best self. Work somewhere that empowers you and surround yourself with people that push you in the right direction. The best way to be an advocate for women and double minorities in tech is to be the fiercest you can be, and sometimes that means taking the road less traveled. At least, that's how I'm interpreting Jamesha's bold statement of sometimes needing to walk away from a situation to put yourself in a better one.

It takes more than just one case study to make a real shift for change, and companies like GoDaddy are publicly recognizing this to begin a real trend for change. TechCrunch reported last week that the company is the first public tech company to release a deeper level of statistics in its diversity report.

The report states that "female executives are paid four percent less than male executives," but throughout the entire company women are "compensated .28 percent more than men ... but the gap persists for women in technical roles: Women in technical positions make .11 percent less than men, while women in non-technical roles make .35 percent more than men."

GoDaddy's CEO Blake Irving has publicly said that the company is working on changing its image of flaunting scantily clad women to promote its brand and hopes that these levels of transparency in gender pay gaps will transcend to other companies.

Blake isn't just all talk, either. He says that one of the reasons for pay gaps is due to "'paying it backward.' As women move from one job to another, Irving said their lower salaries are passed along with them." His next step is to address and evaluate these pay disparities. What this report did not address, however, is how ethnicity impacts pay. Blake has acknowledged this and promises to address this statistic in future reports.

Other companies like Pinterest have implemented promising programs that aim to bridge the pay gap and leadership opportunities between genders and ethnicities, and with the growing awareness of these disparities across several industries, we can only expect more bigger brands will follow suit.

There may not be a single, magical solution to pay inequality among genders and ethnicities, but we can continue to challenge ourselves as women and double minorities: What do I deserve? What can I do to ensure that future women and myself receive the same standards and opportunities as men? It may be as small as meeting with a mentor weekly at a coffee shop, or it may be publishing a book challenging women to Lean In and take bigger risks. Whatever it is, don't hide your fierce.

This Is What it Was Like Attending Beautycon for the First Time

BeautyconUp until today, I was a Beautycon virgin. I've always heard of the big festival style event where Youtube beauty vloggers, makeup artists, and cosmetic brands come together to share their love for eyeliners, lashes, dry shampoo and how to break into the competitive world of Youtube videos.

I wasn't sure what to expect from one of beauty's most anticipated events, but had nothing but high hopes for the big day. I arrived at the large Pier 36 venue bright eyed and well rested. Today is the day, I experience something I've heard so much about from other beauty obsessed girls like myself. Would it live up to the hype?

As I took my first dive into the Beautycon doors, I was completely overwhelmed by the energy in the room. Girls were hustling around, shopping, fangirling, and taking in the sights. Trust me, there was lots to be seen.

Panels

Beautycon
I attended two panels during the day. The first one entitled, #GirlProbs, where panelists like Niki & Gabi, Teala Dunn and Fleur De Force answered a slew of questions about bullying and dealing with haters. I was totally feeling #unstoppable after that one. I also made my way to the Uniquely You panel where show stopper Frankie Grande talked about the importance of staying true to yourself.

SwagBeautycon

Beautycon wouldn't be Beautycon without some free swag to take home. I made my rounds through all the vendors and took home some pretty sweet products. I'm already obsessed with everything I took home from Carol's Daughter. #HairOnFleek

Shopping

Besides all the amazing free samples I got, I did some major shopping. Ardell, was having the sickest sale, eight pairs of lashes for only $20.00. WTF!?

Youtube Stars

Beautycon
When I wasn't spending all my cash, I was literally bumping into some of my all time favorite beauty vloggers. I talked to the beautiful twins of Glamtwins334, Meghan Rienks and so many others. Everyone was super sweet in person.

InspoBeautycon
Wherever I walked, I was inspired by something, whether it was a sick hairstyle, a new way to line your lips, discovering a new product, or hearing advice on how to ignore negative people. The energy of the room from the other attendees was contagious. There was no way I was leaving there without taking knowledge with me.

Music

A video posted by JoJo (@iamjojo) on

Not only did I experience a day filled with all things beauty, but I also got to jam out to some pretty cool artists. Some of the musical guests included, emerging artists like Jovanie and Poppy, and popstar Jojo, whom I love.

Star Treatment

I must say it feels pretty great being an experienced Beautycon attendee. I'd do it over and over again. From walking the pink carpet to chatting it with my bffs in my head, Missy Lynn, Beautycon certainly lived up to its name.

Tracy Morgan Returned to SNL and Reunited the 30 Rock Crew

Tracy Morgan is back like he never missed a beat. It's been nearly a year and a half since the 46-year-old comedian was critically injured in a horrific car accident, and clearly he's settled right back into his funny groove. Tracy's Saturday Night Live hosting gig marked his first live television appearance since the crash and the SNL crowd and his 30 Rock cast members Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, Alec Baldwin and Jack McBrayer were on hand to welcome him back with huge hugs, and of course, laughs.

In the same vein of his surprise appearance at the Emmys in September, Tracy wasted no time bringing out the quips, and he even managed to get some pretty good guffaws out of the audience by poking fun at the rumors surrounding his recovery.

"People were wondering,'Can he speak? Does he have 100 percent mental capacity?' But the truth is, I never did," Tracy said. "I might actually be a few points higher now."

Those signature wisecracks were then followed by a "prothetic" 30 Rock skit that hilariously referenced a near-death incident experienced by the comedian's onscreen character Tracy Jordan that pretty much reminded us why 30 Rock, well, rocked.

Whew, it takes a true comedic genius to pull jokes from such a serious incident. Kudos to Tracy for daring to go there. He's certainly been missed!

Demi Lovato's SNL Performances Deserve a Standing Ovation

We saw absolutely no evidence of first-time jitters when Demi Lovato performed on Saturday Night Live. Clad in sexy all-black ensembles, her debut on the SNL stage not only went off without a hitch, but she completely killed her performances of "Cool For the Summer" and the album title track "Confident." But she saved the best for last with a soul-stirring delivery of the power ballad "Stone Cold" that nearly turned us into an emotional, blubbering mess.

YAS, Demi. We welcome the slayage.

After her appearance, social media instantly lit up with Lovatics and celebrity fans praising her spine-chilling performances: Naturally, Demi was super appreciative of all the positive feedback and sent out a heartfelt tweet: Recently Demi spoke on her singing capabilities, telling Flare magazine, "I'm not the best singer - like, I know I'm not Céline Dion." She continued, "My strength is translating emotion, because I'm such a feeler."

So are we, Demi. Your performances have us feeling all the feels.

Hillary Clinton Cosigns Jennifer Lawrence Gender Wage Gap Essay

2015 Comic-Con - Fangirling over Jennifer Lawrence is a pretty routine for us, but she recently received some praise from way high up, and TBH, it has us pretty geeked. Odds are, J. Law's probably somewhere totally gushing over it, too.

After the Mockingjay star penned a spot-on essay about her personal experience with the gender wage gap, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to co-sign Jennifer's sentiments while praising the actress for having the courage to speak out.

"Brava, Jennifer," she wrote. "It's hard to speak up against inequity and risk being unpopular-but equal pay matters for us all."
Precisely, Jennifer. If there was ever a time for the actress to pat herself on the back, it would be now. We love her wit and ability to entertain, but Jennifer's willingness to tackle tough issues is a truly admirable example of #bossmoves, especially when she could easily rest on the fact that she's the highest paid actress in the world.

Despite the pressure to avoid rocking the boat, we're glad to see J. Law embracing her voice and showing the powers-that-be of Hollywood and ultimately, the world, that she's perfectly capable of using her platform to address issues that continue to plague women everywhere.

10 Times the One Direction Guys Were Complete Angels

0

One Direction literal real life angelsOne Direction fans have a lot of reasons to love the 1D guys, but one thing that really makes them the total package is how much they give back.

While we've seen Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan be the absolute sweetest to their fandom time and again, we've rounded up some of the times the One Direction guys were literal angels.

When Harry Had a Special Surprise for a Fan
This was an above-and-beyond moment with Harry, when he surprised a fan who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Her wish was to meet Harry and, not only did she meet her idol, he also gave her a diamond heart necklace. Hearts = melted.

When One Direction Took Part in a Project to Change the World
What better way to help find solutions to the world's problems then to get one of the biggest fan bases around involved? The guys launched the Action/1D campaign as a way to get the attention of world leaders - and asked fans to "be part of something that actually makes a difference towards our future and helps people who need the support."

When Harry Helped a Fan During a 1D Concert
Clearly a man who truly cares, Harry rescued a fan who had fainted at a 1D show, getting their security people involved to help the girl in need. We're so impressed he was that aware of what was going on in the crowd.

When Liam Visited a Fan in the Hospital
When a 1D fan battling cancer couldn't make it to a One Direction concert, Liam came to her! Liam showed off his heart of gold by making a personal visit to this fan, which she shared pics of, calling him "an amazing person." Truth.

When Niall Invited a Fan to Meet One Direction
Niall responded in the most epic way to a campaign for a 9-year-old girl battling a brain tumor to meet the One Direction star: he recorded a very special video, inviting her to a 1D concert. Her mom posted her daughter's reaction to Niall's video and it brought on all the feels.

When Louis and Liam Hosted a Charity Ball
We loved this moment so much - Louis and Liam hosted the Believe in Magic Cinderella Ball for terminally ill children and made so many dreams come true. They even took part in the auction to raise money for the charity. We were so proud of them being total Prince Charmings to these kids.

When Harry Helped a Crying Fan
When a celebrity takes the time to make sure an overwhelmed fan is okay, that's pretty amazing. When an adoring fan understandably started to have a panic attack in Harry's presence (relatable), he asked if she was okay and gave her a hug! Super cupcake moment, right there.

When One Direction Made Kids' Wishes Come True
The 1D guys have really made dreams come true through their work with the Rays of Sunshine organization. They've posed for pics, talked with their fans, and even took the time to sing with one memorable kid who stole the show.
One Direction bring Sunshine to Wembley
When Niall Slammed the Paps For Being Rude to Fans
See? These guys really look out for their fanbase! Niall took to Twitter to bash the "nasty" paparazzi who told fans to get out of the way so they could snap pics of Nialler.

When Harry Recorded a Special Message For a Sick Fan
Harry's video for a fan named Brianna who was battling cancer, telling her she's "very, very brave" and that he's her fan? This was beyond touching and special.

Beyonce and Blue Ivy Had a Fangirl Moment With Taylor Hatala and Kyndall Harris

0

So often, we hear about something Beyonce did to drive her Beyhive fan base absolutely insane, but she recently dedicated some of her downtime to partake in some fandom of her own.

On Friday, Bey and Blue Ivy were spotted rocking out to Janet Jackson's greatest hits during the Los Angeles stop on the singer's Unbreakable tour. Afterwards, the adorable mommy-daughter duo made their way backstage to meet with some of Janet's mini-dancing divas, where they snapped a pic with none other than tween dancing sensations Taylor Hatala and her pal Kyndall Harris.

After what was surely an equal opportunity fangirling exchange, Taylor posted a photo on Twitter of the memorable moment.

"So grateful I got the chance to meet @Beyonce and her beautiful daughter Blue Ivy at #unbreakableLA #Jbaby #Jlittle," she captioned the photo.

Um, pause. How lucky are Taylor and Kyndall? Performing with Janet and meeting Beyoncé and Blue all in one night sounds like the most incredible experience ever. We are uber fans of the young, talented dancers and it honestly warms our hearts to see them still wrecking the dance floor together and working their way up to the top.

If you haven't already seen it, do yourself a favor and check out Taylor and Kyndall in action:

Chrissy Teigen Slams Haters After Showing Off Her Baby Bump

La Mer Celebrates 50 Years of an IconChrissy Teigen is not here for anyone's criticism.

The Victoria's Secret supermodel had to shut down a ton of haters after she posted a shot on Instagram Sunday, which showed her standing to the side in body-hugging black dress with her growing baby bump showing through it. "Somebody is early to the party," Chrissy captioned the shot.
Although we were swooning when she posted the snap, there were a ton of people who sent her rude comments, saying she was "big" and was probably expecting twins or triplets. As you can see from the size of her tiny bump, that is ridiculous.

"Good thing I am unoffendable or this would be a rough few months," she tweeted, in the midst of retweeting several critical tweets she received. "It's my own karma! I love bumps so I loved saying how round/big/beautiful they are on others. Don't worry, friends," she continued, adding, "No more preg tweeting for me, lesson learned!! Back to food and reality TV and hay things." Those trolls aside, the 'hay things' Chrissy was referring to was a fun night out at the Haunted Hayride in Los Angeles, Calif. she had over this weekend with her hubby John Legend, Jessica Alba and her hubby Cash Warren, and several other friends.
"HAYYYYYYYYYYYYY @jenatkinhair @mrmikerosenthal @allanross @rrari_5000 @cash_warren @jessicaalba thank u for having us @lahauntedhayride!," she captioned a shot of the group at Griffith Park Saturday.

As far as the (just as creepy) haters Chrissy is dealing with, we say, keep shaking them off. It's clear she looks stunning.

JWoww Is Married! 'Jersey Shore' Alum Weds Roger Mathews

Intouch Weekly's Jenni "Jwoww" Farley is a married woman!

The Jersey Shore alum tied the knot with her longtime love Roger Mathews Sunday in front of family and friends including her former castmates Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola and Deena Nicole Cortese, who severed as three of her bridesmaids, according to E! Online.

Jenni and Roger's 15-month-old daughter, Meilani, served as the flower girl, and her former Jersey Shore costar Pauly D was in attendance as well. While the couple hasn't released snaps from their wedding just yet, Jenni reportedly wore a custom Stephen Yearick dress that she previously said on her blog would give off "super-princess-glamour."

They also released a statement to E! News after they said "I do," saying their wedding was "By far one of the best days of our lives outside Meilani being born. So blessed to have our daughter share this day with us!."

A photo posted by Jenni JWOWW (@jwoww) on

Prior to their wedding day, Jenni gushed over her hubby-to-be in a blog post about their rehearsal dinner, writing, "IT'S FEELING SO SO REAL!!! I had my rehearsal dinner tonight with all my nearest and dearest and I can't believe my wedding day is just a sleep away! I cannot be more excited to be marrying the love of my life and my dream man. Roger is my perfect man in every way and he is the best daddy to Meilani that I could ever ever ask for. He accepts me in every way and I am more in love with him than ever!" So. Many. Feels.

The couple got engaged in October 2012 and has been together for five years. We can't wait to see the photos from their big day.

Congratulations Jenni and Roger!

How to Become a Successful Beauty Vlogger

Beauty vlogger Jkissa of the JkissaMakeup YouTube channel didn't always have legions of fans - in fact, Jkissa says she was the victim of bullying while she was growing up, and wasn't confident about her physical appearance until she discovered makeup when she was 15. Now, Jkissa has "made it her mission to help other girls find their beauty from the outside-in through makeup," according to her YouTube bio. Today, she has over 67K subscribers to her YouTube channel.

We got the chance to chat with Jkissa about how she turned her love of beauty into a successful brand. Her tips might inspire you to finally turn on your webcam and make your vlogging dreams a reality!

CAMBIO: When did you realize you loved beauty?
JKISSA: I started getting interested in makeup around 13 years old. I was fascinated with the little glittery makeup sets at Claire's. It wasn't until I was 15 that I started watching makeup tutorials. I was severely bullied and never felt beautiful, and I would watch tutorials when I got home to escape from reality. Makeup was that escape and to this day it still is. Being a beauty blogger was something that didn't cross my mind until after I finished makeup school. I was not loving going on set for films and being told what makeup to do. I wanted to be able to decide what makeup to do for that day. My boyfriend who's a director suggested I do tutorials and he said he would help me. And well, it's all been over from there!

Awesome! So what were the first steps you took to become a beauty vlogger?
I had always loved watching tutorials, so I knew the general idea of items I needed. We figured out what my background would be, how my "brand" would be portrayed and why I do makeup. I looked up to (and still do to this day) AMAZING artists like Michelle Phan (Duh! She's the queen.), Kandee Johnson, Pixiwoo and other people who weren't beauty bloggers, like Mathu Andersen (RuPaul's makeup artist), Kat Von D and Keith Haring (forever my favorite artist to walk this earth).

How did you continue growing your followers once the ball was rolling?
Oooooo this is a tough one! I just kept going and doing my thing. There were times where it was discouraging to see your numbers grow slowly, but I have to remind myself that even though my numbers are small, I cherish each person that clicked subscribe and want them to feel like they have a friend in me. That's why I dislike using the term "fan," it puts people in a hierarchy which I don't like. Using that word puts them at a distance. I want my friends to be close to me and to feel like they can come to me if they are being bullied in school, or they just had a bad day.

What do your followers like to watch?
My friends really respond well to two things! Bright makeup and more personal things I have went through or maybe are going through. They are a constant uplifting support team and so I'm fine with sharing my feelings with them even if it's hard for me to share at that time. But! They also love my shoes of the day on Snapchat and Instagram.

Last question: What advice would you offer to someone who wants to be a beauty vlogger?
My advice would be to just go for it. So many people worry about failing but you will never know if you don't try. I would also say to do the makeup YOU want to do, not what you think others want to see. If you are doing what you love then that will truly come through the lens. I'm glad to be at the point where I realized that and have never turned my back since.

Justin Bieber Shows Lamar Odom Some Mad Love, Sends Prayers

Justin Bieber in Los AngelesNothing like getting some serious love after such a terrifying scare. That's exactly what our boy Justin Bieber sent out to his Kardashian family friend Lamar Odom over the weekend after the NBA player's death scare and hospitalization last week.

After shaking off all that Selena Gomez collaboration leak drama, Bieber found time to post an inspiring, sweet gesture to the former Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star on social media. The Biebs put up a picture of Lamar in his Los Angeles Lakers uniform on Instagram and wrote, "We all believe in you!! Praying for you Lamar."

We all believe in you!! Praying for you Lamar

A photo posted by Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) on

The 35-year-old basketball pro is going through a rough time right now. He just regained consciousness after collapsing at a brothel in Nevada earlier last week. Doctors weren't sure if he was going to make it, but things are looking better after Lamar opened his eyes, breathed on his own and even talked to his ex Khloe Kardashian. It is believed that he's still making progress in the hospital.

As for Justin, well, he's been prepping for the release of his next album Purpose. It's set to hit shelves in a few weeks, but that didn't stop a collabo with his ex-girlfriend Selena from leaking early. Fans pretty much went nuts when that dropped over the weekend.

Justin has also been spotted partying it up with Lamar's sister-in-law Kourtney Karadshian. Of course, their hangout created instant dating rumors, but we're pretty sure they're just friends. #OhHeyyy

That means on that day, the rate of people coming out on Facebook was 2.5 times what it was on that day last year. Additionally, more than 26 million people - both straight and LGBT - celebrated the monumental court decision by updating their profile picture with the rainbow flag filter.

Facebook reports that more than 6 million Americans have come out on the social media platform, and that 78 percent of these people have updated since 2012. The team admits that the number might be conflated due to the growth of people on Facebook that year, but the fact remains that the LGBT movement has gained serious traction in recent years.

It's awesome to see coming out on Facebook becoming more popular every day. We're so glad that the age of social media has helped people to embrace who they are. If there were ever a time to need a "love" button on Facebook, it's now!

This One Direction 'Perfect' and Taylor Swift 'Style' Mashup Is Brilliant

one direction taylor swift perfect style mashup videoIt's definitely been disputed that One Direction's new song "Perfect" is so totally all about Taylor Swift. Given the chatter about how much "Perfect" sounds a lot like Tay's "Style," someone even created a mini mashup of the two tunes to prove just how similar they are.

Now someone's taken it one step further and created a full "Perfect" and "Style" mashup that is beyond brilliant. How amazing do these two songs fit together, honestly?

Tumblr user Emily Sachs explained how she decided on mashing the two together: "I'd seen a lot of people discussing how the song could be a response to some of the songs from 1989, and the line 'if you like midnight driving...' immediately made me think of 'midnight, you come and pick me up...' in 'Style.'"

She also noted how well the two songs work together, explaining: "I've made several mashups over the years so I decided to give those two a go. I was shocked by how well they ended up working together."

Well done, Emily.

There's a 'Frozen' Themed Airplane and Disney Addicts Will Freak Out

los angeles nov 19 ...Frozen hit theaters nearly two years ago, and despite what the name would suggest, it's still the hottest Disney film ever. There's a crazy amount of Frozen merchandise being sold, but it's not just toys and clothes companies that are getting in on the Frozen action: an airline is giving you the opportunity to travel via a Frozen-themed plane, which is perfect for fans who can't let this movie go just yet.

The airline West Jet teamed up with Disney artists to create an aircraft that would make Disneyfiles feel right at home. It's actually the airline's second Disney plane venture: they also created the "Magic Plane," which was themed after scenes from Fantasia. This Disney plane features some of your favorite Frozen characters, including Olaf, who finally gets to chill out in the sun on the side of this plane. The inside of the plane is equally as cool, with Arendelle-inspired headrests and unique Frozen decals on each one of the 54 overhead bins. You'll feel totally immersed in the Frozen experience from the moment you step on the plane. Of course, it wouldn't be enough to just have a Frozen-themed plane: travelers who board the aircraft can also watch on-demand Disney movies so that they really feel a part of the experience.

Though the plane looks like it's straight out of Disney World, you won't only have to travel to Orlando to try out the Frozen plane, as the plane will operate flights throughout the entire 737 network. Who knows: your next plane ride could be alongside Anna, Elsa and Olaf.

Harry Styles Slams One Direction Album Release Competition Buzz: 'That's Not What It's About'

Since One Direction and Justin Bieber share the same album release date, of course they're going to be asked about it in every other interview. Seems the 1D guys have no worries over how their sales will be compared to the competition.

In a new interview with Coup de Main, Harry Styles and Niall Horan talked about the release date and any rumored beef with Justin.

Niall explained, "We just happen to be releasing our albums on the same day," noting that they've had albums released on the same day as other artists in the past, so this is nothing new.

Harry, ever the voice of reason, put it all into perspective: "I don't think anyone makes a record with competing with someone else in mind. I think then you don't make it for the right reasons. I think we made the record, we're very, very happy with it, very proud of it. And now we're putting it out."

He added: "It's not a win/lose thing. We hope our fans like it..." As for the competition, he says, that's "not ultimately what it's about."

We're not even sure how it's humanly possible, but our love for Harry just grew even more.

Justin took some heat recently when he had a little fun with 1D, replying with a bit of shade to Niall's tweet about the reaction to the band's new song, 'Perfect.' Turns it out it's all good, however, with Justin clearing up any feud rumors.
