Blake Shelton Opens Up About His Split from Miranda Lambert

57th Annual GRAMMY Awards - ArrivalsBlake Shelton and Miranda Lambert broke our hearts in July when they announced they were ending their marriage, and just hours later their divorce had been finalized.

Now, the Voice coach is speaking out about their split, telling the Bobby Bones Show why they revealed the news of their break-up like they did and whether they're still close. "In Oklahoma, it happens so fast," he said on the show Wednesday. "Like, Miranda and I didn't have any kids, and we had a prenuptial agreement, whatever we had. Once we filed for divorce, it was over in, like, I think it was like a nine or 10-day waiting period until it's over."
2014 CMT Music Awards - Backstage & Audience"We knew if rumblings and rumors started coming out, they would just be that," Blake continued. "By the time anybody knew anything, it was over, it was done."

In spite of their break-up, they were surprisingly chummy on social media afterwards, even joking with each other on Twitter days after they announced it. "Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this, it is what it is. We're buddies," he added.

So many times, we see celebrities break up and issue a statement saying their split was "amicable," and it's not always necessarily the case. So, we're glad to see that Blake and Miranda are still cool even though they called it quits. Hopefully, that has made the end of their marriage a little easier for them to digest.

It certainly is helping us deal with it.

Selena Gomez Selena Gomez is all about surprises this week. Not only did she stun everyone by looking bravely beautiful in a one-piece swimsuit while swimming in Miami, but homegirl just dropped her new music video and it's intense.

Selena released the brand-new music video for her latest single, "Same Old Love," on Tuesday, September 22, and the catchy tune is accompanied by a great story. The vid focuses on Selena as she's traveling in a car. Along the way to her destination, she witnesses different forms of love, heartache, and everything in between out the window. Hmm, sound familiar?

In the song's chorus, Selena croons that she's "sick of the same old love" and adds, "That s**t, it tears me up." Whoa!

She hasn't admitted if the song is about her rocky relationship with Justin Bieber buuuuuut it sure does seem like it is to us. They seem to enjoy releasing tunes about each other these days.

Selena recently opened up to Elle magazine about her cray cray love life, and about Bieber in particular. "I'll forever support him and love him in a way," she told the mag. "We grew up together. I think people want it to be different."

Niall Horan sick during Apple music festival videoOh no, Niall!

During One Direction's Apple Music Festival performance yesterday, Niall Horan suddenly disappeared from the stage during the song "18"...but what happened? Was he okay? We were srsly worried about him!

There was a bit of panic among the boys, as Louis Tomlinson joked: "Where's the Irish one?" Harry commented: "We've lost another one! We're dropping like flies!" Too funny.

Liam Payne seemed to think Niall was ill, saying, "Niall has just developed a sudden sickness."

Rumors buzzed that Niall left the gig in an ambulance after nearly passing out, but it seems heat was the culprit here.

Niall explained the heat was getting to him: And, just so there's no confusion...he didn't need an ambulance:

Cara Delevingne Goes on Serious Twitter Rant About the Paparazzi

Cara Delevingne is completely over the paparazzi (not that we're surprised).

This time, they must have really set her off though, because Cara went on a major Twitter rant about the insane amount of photogs that have been following her around, saying they make her feel like a "zoo animal." She continued for much longer after that, tweeting, "If only I could make you feel the way you make me feel, I just hope that outside of this, you are able to feel empathy for others. If not then I feel truly sorry for you." She continued, "One day when I have time, I will find out where you live and camp outside your house with my friends armed with cameras. Then let's see who is laughing." The sad thing is they would probably come out of their homes and take pics of Cara and her friends taking photos of them.
Nevertheless, after the Paper Towns star went on for a bit, she tweeted to fans, "Sorry guys, rant over. I hope you all had a great day. If I wasn't able to vent to you guys, these situations would probably end in violence."

But, there was still more. "Well f**k it, what will be, will be," she continued. "You just have to laugh sometimes. The world is a crazy place, I wish I could pore molten cheese on them." In the midst of her rant, a fan tweeted her, "[your] whole career is based on being in the public eye though." She replied, "I know and I accept that. It's part of my job but there should be a line. No one should be made to feel like that."
London Celebrity Sightings - SEPTEMBER 22, 2015
We have to agree with our girl. Yes, she is in the public eye and should expect to deal with the paparazzi to a certain extent (at this point, the majority of celebrities do), but it can't be easy to have a ton of cameras flashing in your face everywhere, especially outside of your home or during super private moments.

At least, for now, she's still cracking jokes about it.

This 16-Year-Old Girl Won Google's Science Fair Competition

High school sophomore Olivia Hallisey is kinda amazing.

The 16-year-old not only won Google's science fair competition, but she did it in a way that totally blew away anything we ever thought of making for a science fair (i.e. a poster board with a 2-step experiment).

For her project, Olivia actually came up with a test for Ebola that can also be used as a diagnostic for other diseases including HIV, Lyme Disease, Yellow Fever, Dengue Fever and some cancers. She called her submission "Temperature-Independent, Portable and Rapid Detection of Ebola Via a Silk-Derived Lateral-Flow System." Mind. Totally. Blown.

Olivia's experiment was inspired by the devastation caused by the Ebola outbreak last year, and here's what makes it so cool: current Ebola tests require refrigeration and can take up to 12 hours to deliver a diagnosis. Olivia's test reworked the components of that test so it can be kept at room temperature and give results in only half an hour. Genius.

The Greenwich, Connecticut resident received $50,000 in scholarship money and beat out 22 other students to land the grand prize winning title. Talk about a total #BUILTBYGIRLS moment.

Are Kylie Jenner and Tyga Engaged?

Alexander Wang - Front Row - Spring 2016 New York Fashion WeekEngagement rumors surrounding Kylie Jenner and Tyga are certainly nothing new. In fact, nine months ago she took to Twitter to shoot down a couple of rumors about herself, which included an engagement rumor and a rumor that she was pregnant.

Clearly, since nine months have passed, the pregnancy rumors have pretty much taken care of themselves, but now that she and Tyga have gone public with their relationship, the engagement rumors are back in full effect.

When Kylie was spotted wearing a diamond band on THAT finger, the rumor mill went into overdrive. It turned out to be a false alarm as the ring was one that Kylie had owned for months and just hadn't been wearing all that often.

Not to worry, though, there's already a little somethin' somethin' that kicked the engagement rumors right back into high gear. Unlike the others, though, which are nothing more than mere speculation, this one comes directly from the couple themselves.

In Kylie's Snapchat story on Wednesday night, Tyga appears to be saying, "I don't f**k with nobody, it's just me, my fiancée, this lil' dog I just got." Wait, fiancée?!

How could HE have a fiancee without Kylie being engaged? Does that mean they ARE engaged then? Not necessarily. Consider this: Tyga posted a video on his Instagram account earlier today with rapper Logic doing an interview and saying almost exactly the same thing he said in Ky's Snapchat story.

All day 😂😂

So, was he just doing a DIY Dubsmash, quoting a fellow rapper - or is Tyga trying to tell us something? We have a very strong feeling he was just quoting, and maybe they were even trying to play with our heads a little bit. Well played, Kyga!

Kylie Jenner Bought Her Bestie a Mercedes for Her Birthday

Prabal Gurung - Front Row - Spring 2016 New York Fashion Week: The ShowsAll right, we were jealous of Kylie Jenner's squad when we saw that she was cooking up all kinds of delicious meals for them. Then, she kicked it up a notch and paid $5000 for a chef from celeb hotspot Philippe Chow come to her house and cook Sunday dinner for herself and her closest friends.

And just when you thought she couldn't possibly be a cooler friend, she went and bought her BFF Jordyn Woods a car for her 18th birthday. Not just any car, either. A Mercedes-Benz!

A photo posted by @jordynwoods on

"There's no words to describe how I feel.. I just don't know what I did to deserve this. I can never thank @kyliejenner for motivating me to always do my best and always opening up new opportunities," Jordyn captured the pic of herself and her sweet new ride. "Do good and good things will happen. Blessed and grateful always. Love you and thank you again to everyone who made me feel special on this 18th year. Finally."

For her part, Kylie was super humble about the whole thing and probably wouldn't have even mentioned it if Jordyn hadn't posted the pic, because we've seen Ky quietly do nice things in the past. Now that we all know about it, though, Kylie also shared the pic, along with a sweet simple message essentially explaining why she did it. "Most down to earth selfless human being!" she wrote. "I hope you enjoy it."

Kylie seems to have a really great group of true friends around her, which is one of the greatest gifts any of us can have in life. We know Ky's crew is a super close-knit group, but Kylie: If you have any extra squad spots open, we're ready, willing and able to fill that position!

blonde woman sitting in wardrobe and looking frustratedI turned 20 last weekend, and for a minute, I felt so excited that I was a year older, still alive, healthy, or according to my friends, that I beat teen pregnancy (wooo)! Then the next day, I thought to myself, Wait a minute, I'm still livin' that struggle life. Here I am thinking turning 20 would allow me to leave my bag of struggles behind. NOPE. I'm still facing the old ones from 19 and new ones I'm coming across each day as a 20-year-old. See if you can relate!

1. Planning to get turnt on your birthday, but then realizing you're still not 21

2. Having to listen to your 21+ friends talk about how much fun bar-hopping is

3. Counting down the days until your 21st birthday, even though you only turned 20 yesterday

4. Wanting to finish one more episode of How to Get Away with Murder, but knowing you have to be up early for work

5. Realizing your paychecks suck because taxes exist
6. Reminding yourself that you are officially sooo mature, and then spending the entire night playing with Snapchat's effects

7. Wanting to travel the world with your besties, but wishing your parents will offer to pay
8.
Stacking up on face masks and moisturizers to prevent wrinkles
9. Knowing your metabolism slows down as you get older, yet still choosing Netflix over the gym

10. Telling yourself you're going to start eating kale, quinoa and gluten-free. LOL, who you trying to fool?

11. Being forced to move on from your pediatrician to an adult-doctor

12. Trying to cook something more appetizing than Bagel Bites, but the only cooking you've ever done was with play-dough when you were 5

13. Being asked if you want guac at Chipotle and remembering it's extra and you're not ballin'

14. Your parents reminding you that when they were 20, they were already married and poppin' out babies

15. Thinking your mom will cover the bill when you go out to eat, but she says you're splitting it instead

16. Being too old to sit at the kid's table and too young to sit with the elders at family parties

17. Telling your parents you can't wait to move out, but then realizing you have nowhere to go and you can't afford rent

18. Applying to jobs. Like actual real-world jobs
19. Deleting Tinder because you're now a grown-up, ready to start flirting with the potentials IRL

20. Being far from having your life figured out. Actually, that's OK
The struggle is just too #real.

Here's What Nick Jonas Whispered in Selena Gomez's Ear at VMAs After Party

Nick Jonas whisper Selena Gomez ear flirty VMAs after party picRemember a few weeks back, when that pic of Nick Jonas whispering in Selena Gomez's ear while Joe Jonas was spinning the hits at a VMAs after party made people go cray? We were dying to know what they were chatting about, but figured we'd never know the true details of their oh-so-close talking.

Selena dished all to Clevver News, clearing up any possibly "flirty talk" rumors that may have been running rampant. Turns out, it wasn't nearly as romantic as we all imagined, as she explained: "We were actually talking about the event for a little bit because I didn't see him there, and I told him I liked his performance."

She added, "Then, I said hi to Joe, so we were talking. But we grew up together! You know, it's so nice to be able to see people and talk about life. I mean, I've seen him a couple times but evidently that photo was crazy. But it was great to be able to reflect on your life. It's like high school in a way. I love them, they're the greatest, honestly."

Gah. How cute is their Disney Channel high school class, honestly?

As for her past relationship with Nick, as you'd imagine it's ancient history, as Selena told Capital FM (when the interviewer said he called Sel a "good kisser"), "We were babies," explaining it's "really fun" that they're still friendly and "caught up" recently. She added, "That, to me, was like puppy love" and "very sweet," explaining, "He's lovely. I do have a love for him for sure."

Awww. There's still love, y'all. Plus she entertains the idea of going on a date with Nick, you know, just for the interviewer!

Now we need to get to the bottom of why Nick's song "Area Code" seems to have a Selena-related lyric. Or maybe that will always remain a mystery?

Should You Attend an Ivy League School or Community College?

summer holidays education ...High school students being told not to strive for straight As? I can agree with that to an extent, but there are students who strive to get those grades to obtain scholarships to their dream schools. I agree with the statement to the extent of not making the students drown themselves in work and become stressed, which can backfire and lead to bad grades.

In my opinion, many high school students do not know what they would like to do when they graduate. There are a handful of students who, like I've said, strive to at least get accepted to their dream colleges, with or without scholarships. We should cheer on every single student to at least graduate from high school and cheer on the students who make it into Ivy League schools as well as those who make it into community colleges.

Going to a community college is what most high school graduates seem to be doing. They attend community college to obtain their prerequisites and then apply to a university where those credits will transfer because this is the cheaper option. In the long run, parents try to have their children look at the outcome of what their student loans will look like. But there are parents who will do absolutely anything for their child to attend the best school(s) in the country. I believe any parent would do that for their child, but there's a point when you will be getting the same education at any college. You can be in Harvard attending an English class and be in a community college attending English class, learning the same exact content, but paying more than half of community college tuition because of the name of the institution.
good will hunting gifWhen it comes down to college graduation and looking for your first job to start paying off your student loans, there is not a doubt in my mind that a company would hire the Ivy League student compared to the community college/public university student. It is extremely unfortunate that I believe this would be the case, but I think many people would agree with me. It is almost as if when the students are being interviewed, the school they attended is the first and only thing they see. The Harvard student could have barely graduated, but that is not shown on a resume, whereas the public university student could be at the top of her class and have that listed on her resume, but it is overlooked because of the college she attended.

In general, I think aspiring college students should really just aim to go to college wherever it may be. You could look up the top 15 jobs that will be thriving in 10 years, and the majority of them will need a college degree. But it is also fine if you choose not to go to college, if you start working and earning money right out of school, or even if you enter a technical school. You are still bettering yourself, and doing what you need to do, to make yourself happy. Success is what everyone aims for, but success comes in different ways for different people.

My Diagnosis of Endometriosis Was Only the Beginning

worried teenage girl lying in...At the age of 17, a junior in high school, I would always wonder why I had irregular periods. I was too afraid to tell my mom because I felt like I was too young to go to the gynecologist. The thought terrified me. I kept it quiet for a few months until I had a rupturing ovarian cyst, which led me to go to the hospital.

Ovarian cysts are completely normal to have. All women get them, though they usually go away on their own. After the incident with the ovarian cyst, I knew I would have to go to the gynecologist. I went soon after my hospital visit because my mom and I wanted to try and prevent this from happening again. After my first visit, I was put on birth control, which I wasn't opposed to because I had friends who were on it, telling me it helped them, especially with cramps. Unfortunately, I went through many different types of birth control and couldn't seem to find the right one for me. I was told to see a specialist who diagnosed me with endometriosis.
say what gifWhat is that? Yeah, that was the first question I wanted to know also, besides why I was in so much pain. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue that is usually found inside of the uterus grows outside of the uterus and can spread to surrounding organs. Normally the inside tissue sheds you get your period, and while I would still get my period, there was still tissue that would grow outside of my uterus and even my bladder.

Soon after being diagnosed, I had my first surgery. It was a one-day surgery where I went in super early, and then went home that afternoon. The doctors made a small incision in my belly button and one right below my stomach. They used small cameras and tools and were able to clear out what endometrial tissue was there. After that surgery, I felt great. I was put on a normal birth control where I would skip the placebo pill, so I would never get my period (which sounds amazing and it kind of was, but I felt as if that was unnatural). If I ever felt the need to get a period, I could do so and then go months without one again.
period gifNow at 23, I've had five excellent years of being on the same birth control with no issues until late January 2015. I was excited because I just got my acceptance to college and was working full time. In the beginning of February, I started to feel changes that I had not felt in a long time, which led me right back to my doctor. My gynecologist didn't want to suggest surgery right away being that I have had a good five years without any problems, so we tried another form of birth control. But mere weeks passed before the pain was so intense that I couldn't work.

That's when I went in for my second surgery. I was hopeful that the recovery was going to be just as easy and painless as my first one. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Since February, I've tried multiple birth controls, one which lead me to have cysts grow and rupture daily, one that worked for a few weeks then still led me to be in pain. Now I am on a daily birth control (again skipping the placebo pill, so I don't get my period), but it's not the answer once again. I've been out of work since June, though I am attending school despite having good and bad days with my pain. It has been a long journey and will continue to be long, but I am strong. Whether another surgery is in my near future or not, I'm still learning to live with this, and it does take time get accustomed to. My bad days may have me bed-ridden, but I live for the good days where my pain is tolerable and I feel like I can take on the world.
I am here again, sharing my story about my issues, but now my issue with endometriosis because I do not know anyone who has had the same problem as I have. I am hoping that this post opens doors to women and young girls who may feel like something is not right with their menstrual period. If you are embarrassed to talk about your period, please don't be. It's natural, we all get go through it. Talk to someone you feel comfortable with - a friend, a teacher, your parents. Even thought it may get awkward, they want to help you. I am also here to listen and give advice if you'd like. One thing I can tell you for sure, heating pads are your best friend.

To the women and young girls who may have a diagnoses of endometriosis, please reach out to me. I have yet to find someone I can relate to, and it's hard when you feel like you are by yourself in situations like this. To the women and young girls who just have basic question about your period, I'm not a doctor, but I would love to try and help you as much as possible. We are all in this together.

The One Thing You Never Noticed About Nick Jonas' Teeth

Does Nick Jonas really have an extra front tooth? Okay, this sounds crazy AF, but people are talking about Nick's smile and not for the reasons we would have thought.

You know, we'd go with sexy, charming, amazing, handsome, etc. etc. because Nick's smile can light up a room. That's what we noticed, anyway.

Buzzfeed first pointed out the three front teeth theory and dang it, if you start really focusing on Nick's smile, it's like you can't unsee it. There it is...an extra front tooth.

People have been quick to point out that it's just a large lateral incisor though...it's all good. Nothing to see here after all.

Here's a few more pics though, just for further investigation.

It's been almost three months since Kourtney Kardashian broke up with Scott Disick and while we saw on a Keeping Up With The Kardashians sneak peek that she is understandably devastated about splitting from the father of her three children, Kourt seems to have only grown stronger from the whole experience.

Obviously a breakup is no party - for either party - but Kourt has really turned the tough time into a positive for herself and seems to be doing even better as a single woman than as one who was attached.

5 Places That Will Cure Your Wanderlust - at Least Temporarily

Driving and feeling the windJust being freshly being back from a vacation, it's only appropriate that I write about traveling. I know you're dying to know where I went. I was recently away for a destination wedding in Nova Scotia - that's Canada, not a separate country like some think. Yes, I was one of those people for a while.

Anyway, traveling is definitely a hobby of mine, and this past year I had the opportunity to travel to some awesome places, which inspires me to want to travel the world even more! There is so much beauty out there, so many souls to be met that I want to experience it all. It was hard to narrow it down, but I compiled a list of a few of my favorite travel destinations as well as places that are on my travel bucket list.

1. San Diego, Calif.
I can't even begin to tell you for how long I've wanted to go to California. In high school, I was so hung up on traveling across the country to visit and experience this state, I would constantly nag my mom to book us a trip. Maybe my reasoning was to just spend my time stalking out celebrities. Hey, I would be very content with that! I even wanted to celebrate my Sweet 16 by going on vacation to California, instead of a party. That unfortunately didn't happen, but I was lucky enough to finally visit California my sophomore year of college for a journalism convention.

The convention was held in San Diego, and the minute I stepped off the plane, I knew I was in love. The drive along the sunny coast to our hotel was perfection. The colorful houses right on the beach with palm trees everywhere made me feel like I was on a Caribbean island. The calmness of people taking a stroll along the beach or walking their dogs under the palm trees made me want to find a house for a sale and make an offer (yes, with a college students' bank account, good one Fabiana). San Diego was everything I pictured California to be - minus the celebs - leave that to Los Angeles. The attitudes of the people coincided with the landscape. Don't worry, California; I'll be back soon!

2. The Atlantis, Bahamas
Speaking of Caribbean islands, it's only right that I write about my favorite one. The Bahamas is an island I've been to numerous times, and I don't get sick of it. Yes, there are so many islands out there, and some may ask, "Don't all those islands look the same after awhile?" I agree, but the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas will always have special place in my heart.

My family and I have been on vacation to The Atlantis since I was a young girl. I'm talking braids-with-beads-in-half-my head young. Then, instead of going to California for my Sweet 16, I got an even better surprise of going on a trip to The Atlantis with my parents and best friend. To this day, we still talk about the memories made on the birthday trip and the shenanigans my bestie and I got into. If you haven't yet, book your next Caribbean vacay at the Bahamas. Swimming with the dolphins, laying out on secluded beaches, terrifyingly tall slides leading to an enormous waterpark and gorgeous hotels - what more could you want?

The picture above is me clearly hitting my friend in the head while kayaking. Oops!

3. Portland, Me.
I know, this one you didn't see coming. Kind of random? I agree. However, Portland has to be one of the most beautiful, scenic places I've ever been to in the United States. Being at the very tip of the East Coast, Portland is considered a peninsula (surrounded by three bodies of water, didn't you pay attention to geography in middle school?), so almost everywhere you go, there will be beautiful deep blue bodies of water. Sailboats, lighthouses and quaint, adorable houses fill this quiet town in Maine. Hello, we cannot forget about the lobster! Lobster in Maine is so reputable because of the salty seawater that gives it flavor and how fresh they are. The lobster you're enjoying at dinner in Maine was caught earlier that day, guaranteed. Like my added sailboats courtesy of Snapchat in the picture?

4. Capri, Italy
Now getting into my travel bucket list, Capri, Italy has to be at the top. I am of Italian descent, so that's an obvious reason why I want to visit Italy. However, there are so many gorgeous regions, all different from one another, I just want to experience them all. I've been to Rome and Tuscany and while there, we didn't have enough time to pay a visit to Capri, so I promised myself I would have to come back someday soon to get my fix. Not only was my idol, Giuliana Rancic married on the island, Google Image this region in Italy and the picture will speak a thousand words. Capri is an island off the gulf of Naples, famed for its upscale living. Gorgeous beaches with crystal clear water, rugged landscape and high end shopping, need I say more?

5. Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos is another place I am so eager to visit; I nag my family all the time to look into a trip here. Not only from seeing Greece portrayed in movies or television, but hearing experiences from friends who have visited here, make me want to jump on a flight tomorrow. Mykonos is considered one of the most glamorous and popular Greek islands, home to many celebs travel destinations. A glamorous island filled with white stucco houses and breathtaking scenery, come on, that's right up my alley. I'll keep you posted for when I finally book a trip here!

This is just a taste of a few places I've traveled to and places I must see at some point in my life. Traveling is a way to meet all walks of life, experience new foods and take in all the nature has to offer to us. Hopefully I've inspired some of you to take some vacation time and book your next trip. Safe travels!

The Apple Watch Helped Save a Teen Boy's Life

hand wearing elegant smartwatch ...The Apple Watch can do some pretty impressive things, but save lives?! We never expected that.

To our amazement, 17-year-old football player Paul Houle had his life saved with the help of his new Apple Watch.

Paul, who plays senior nose tackle on Tabor Academy's football team in Marion, Massachusetts, started feeling pain in his back and chest after practice one day last week.

"My Apple Watch, which I bought three days earlier, I tested my heart rate on it. It was about 145 for about two hours after the practice had ended," Paul said to WBZ-TV.

He told his trainer right away, who tested Paul's heart rate manually and then rushed him to the hospital. Paul had rhabdomyolysis, or "the breakdown of muscle tissue that leads to the release of muscle fiber contents into the blood," according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine. This condition can often cause kidney damage - scary!

We're so glad Paul used his head - and his watch - when things didn't seem right.

And so was his dad, Dr. Paul Houle. He told WBZ-TV: "I'm grateful to Apple. I'm grateful to the school because the trainers and the nurses, everybody really just jumped on it."

So happy that modern technology helped this story have a happy ending!

Patriotic woman giving peace signHave you seen the term $Cashtag popping up on Twitter and wondered what it meant?

Well, it's going to be a huge game changer when it comes to funding the 2016 election via social media.

It's the term granted by Twitter to a new feature that allows people to make donations to political candidates directly through the app. According to Twitter, $Cashtag is now the fastest and easiest way to make a political donation on the web.

"When people have conversations about politics, they have them on Twitter. It's what voters learn and share in these conversations that routinely motivates political action. That's why we're making it easier for Twitter users to actively support candidates and causes," Twitter Head of Political Advertising Sales Jenna Golden wrote on the official Twitter blog.

Twitter is using Square for the new program. First candidates sign up for an account, which Square then verifies, so you can rest assured that your donations are actually getting to the right place. Then campaigns can tweet out their $Cashtag - a unique URL with a button that says contribute.

If you hit the button, you enter your donation amount, debit card info and FEC (Federal Election Commission) info, and that's it. You can share the $Cashtag with your followers, too.

Glee meets advocates against random hookups in this (very well produced, we might add) 10-minute music video broken into three acts.

XIV hours, Durham Academy's a capella group, filmed a medley of pop music from Rihanna to Britney Spears to show how today's music culture is sending our generation mixed messages about relationships.

"Lost in the Game: A Musical Story of Relationships, Sex and Gender Politics" combines today's pop hits as an example of the messy stages of a typical relationship in our "hookup culture."

They begin with a powerful message, a rendition of "Blurred Lines" in which one of the male members approaches the only girl in the group not in sync with her friends' actions and sings "I know you want it." She replies, "No, I don't!" But he is quick to pursue her again, as she insists, "No means no!"

"We wanted to deliver an important message and inspire conversation on a larger level about relationship expectations and the mixed messages teens navigate through the music they listen to every day," the grroup wrote on their Vimeo webpage.

Mission accomplished. What a creative way to get the convo started.

Dayum!

Ansel Elgort is having a blast on his vacation in Bali and we're glad he decided to give fans a treat while he was at it. Our bae (in our minds) posted a hot shot on Instagram of himself hanging out in the water in swim trunks, showing off his crazy six pack abs with a big smile on his face.

For good measure, he's also covering up his private part with a huge leaf (although again, he's in swim trunks). "BALI!!!," he captioned the shot. As it turn out though, he's not just there hanging out with the guys.

According to E! Online, the Insurgent star's girlfriend Violetta Komyshan is also with him, and he shared a video of her on his Snapchat. "Bali, Japanese candy and prettiest girl ever is here," he said in his Snapchat story...which pretty much makes her the luckiest girl alive.

Violetta also posted her own Instagram snap, showing off a shot of herself standing on the shore of a picturesque beach in Bali at sunrise. "Jetlag has its benefits. 6 am walk on the beach :)," she captioned the shot.
Ansel and his ladylove are clearly still going strong after a quick break-up last summer (sorry, ladies). Just last week, she posted a shot of them cuddling up and smiling with the caption, "#endlesslaughswithyou." Total couple goals.

Blake Lively is the queen of slay.

The Age of Adaline star killed it on the cover of the Hollywood Reporter in a glam, red Michael Kors sequin jumper striking a fierce pose as she palms the fashion designer's shoulder. "...My face when I get to slip on a rhinestone, spandex, electric red jumpsuit on an idle Tuesday. #GiddySpice," she captioned a selfie of the two of them at the shoot. Yassss!

Michael Kors also posted a shot of the two of them giving life on the shoot with the New York City skyline in the background. In that snap, we see Blake's full, fab, low-cut jumper, cinched with a red belt and paired with hot red stilettos. "The dynamic duo: Michael Kors and @BlakeLively on the cover of @HollywoodReporter's Red Carpet issue," he captioned the shot. They certainly are.

In the issue, Michael and Blake are featured along with a few other fashion gurus and their Hollywood muses, with both of them gushing about each other in a video for the mag. "In the most glamorous dress, she still looks very at ease, which I think is kind of the trick to looking great," Michael says about Blake.

"There's an effortlessness to the elegance, which is just fabulous, and it all seems attainable," she said about Michael's designs. "It's not like something that you look like if you wear that you're going to be uncomfortable or it's not for everyone, it's very warm and inviting like him."

Katie Holmes and Zac Posen, Nicole Kidman and Alexander Wang, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Valentino's Pierpaolo Picciloli and Maria Grazia Chiuri are also all featured on individual covers of THR's Top 25 Red Carpet Designers issue that we are running out to get copies of.

Total friendship goals.

A Teen Lost Her Hair Due to Bullying, So Why Is the Bully Still in School?

There's no easy way to say it: some people are horrible. "Horrible" is the word that seems to best describe one particular student at Harker Heights High School in Texas, who allegedly thought it would be funny to prank student Hannah Combs by pouring superglue into her hair.

Hannah reportedly suffered first-degree chemical burns from the superglue, which she said instantly started burning the minute it hit her head. She chose to shave part of her hair in order to combat, something that was particularly challenging for the teen, who told the Killeen Daily Herald that her hair was "the only thing she liked" about herself.
According to Hannah's parents Jessica and Christian Grammer, the administration has failed them in receiving justice for their daughter, as the only punishment as of press time that the student received was an in-school suspension - essentially a slap on the wrist.

This punishment does not sit okay with Jessica and Christian, who believe that the unnamed student who committed this assault on Hannah should be moved to another school within the district. According to the Grammers, they were met with resistance from the school district when they attempted to seek this punishment for their daughters assailant.

The administration has since issued a statement about the incident, stating to the Killeen Daily Herald:

Killeen ISD is committed to ensure the safety of all students, staff and parents. Therefore, the district considers this a very serious incident and has responded in accordance to state law, board policy and the student code of conduct. In doing so, the district also protects the rights provided to students under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and thus is unable to provide information pertaining to specific students and disciplinary measures instituted.

Since the incident, Jessica has created a "Justice For Hannah" Facebook page, which Hannah told the Killeen Herald has helped her "stay positive." In addition to sharing information about Hannah's incident, the Facebook page also encourages an overall anti-bullying message, which is clearly vital at a time where kids think it's perfectly acceptable to pour superglue on another student.

I hope the school district ultimately does the right thing by Hannah and punishes the student who committed this horrific act of assault. Hannah may have lost her hair, but she also lost her sense of safety. Removing this student from school seems like more than a fair punishment for a heinous crime.
