How to Wear All-Black Everything Without Looking Like a Funeral

0
0

LORDEWednesday Addams is your style icon, you're never caught wearing white after Labor Day (or any day, for that matter), and you're usually the hottest one on the sidewalk - but they'll never see you sweat! And that's because your all-black outfit, which you're donning every day, masterfully camouflages your body's perspiration.

You're a fan of the head-to-toe black, and whether it's because you spill a lot, you enjoy its endlessly edgy vibes, or you're too tired to match stuff (perhaps even a winning combination of all three), your all-black picks always look perfect. Just ask Lorde.

And yet, there somehow seems to be more of a styling struggle with the monochrome look when it's summer time. Why? Because in all honesty, black fabrics retain a lot of heat. If you're devoted to the dark décor, here's how you make the shade work head-to-toe during summer (without looking like you're in a coven).

1. Mix Fabrics and Textures

Add some dimension to your look by working in lace or mesh to break it up, either in the form of a top or skirt. The textures will play off of each other to add depth to your look. Monochrome doesn't have to mean monotone!

Black Color Brunch

2. Sneak Some Color In

Not a whole shirt or skirt, obviously (did you think we were crazy?), but on a shoe's sole or bangle, a pop of color goes a long way. If anything, it almost further enhances the rest of your black ensemble.
Casual

3. Get Funky With Shapes

All-black outfits have an inherently bada** attitude about them, and that 'tude's an extra set of armor when it comes to experimenting. Have you always wanted to try that super-'60s boho sleeve dress? Dip it in black, and throw it on, girl!

4. Play With Patterns to Dress It Up

Don't abandon black! But don't be afraid to work a colorful print in, either, especially when you're in the party dress kind-of mood. Accessorize with black to stay true to your roots.

5. When in Doubt, Style It Sporty Chic

There's just something about a leather running short with this season's on-trend mesh paneling that makes your favorite color look so darn good. Accessorize with metallic pieces for a little extra glam.

Facebook Will Use Laser Beams to Bring You the Internet

0

facebook likeFacebook's Internet.org initiative, which aims to bring the Internet to people in rural areas, has taken its plans to new heights - literally. Facebook has built a drone, expected to launch later this year, with the code name "Aquila." The drone will fly higher than a commercial airplane (to avoid weather problems) and use laser beams to blast down Internet access from the sky to a base station. No, we're not kidding.

The drone has the wingspan size of a Boeing 737 but weighs less than a Prius and uses solar power to fly high during the day. If you don't know how big a Boeing 737 is (like us), it's basically the same size plane as the one from the Britney Spears "Toxic" video. #Throwback
The drone flies low at night, so it doesn't have to rely on all its solar energy from the daytime and can fly without landing for up to 90 days. Even cooler, the drone will reach its high altitude with the help of helium balloons. They swiped the idea from Google, who came out with a helium-balloon drone for the same purpose a couple of years ago. The only difference is the balloons guide Google's drone, and Facebook's drone aims to have a little more control, so it knows exactly where it's going all of the time.

Facebook's drone is doing some good in providing the Internet to places in the middle of nowhere, but the Internet provided won't be the entire world of the interwebs. It will only offer access to sites like Facebook (obvi), Wikipedia and others. Is Facebook selling their idea short by limiting the type of Internet access they'll provide?

Let us know your thoughts on Facebook's drone launch, and check out more details in the video below.

Pinterest Wants To Hire You!

pinterest logoWe'll follow this. Pinterest has made a public promise to strive towards a goal of hiring more women and ethnically diverse employees by the end of 2016. Per a statement from their spokesperson:

"We're publicly committing to increasing hiring rates for full-time engineering roles to 30% female and 8% ethnically and/or racially diverse by the end of 2016. For all roles outside of engineering, we're committing to increasing hiring rates to 12% ethnically and/or racially diverse by the end of 2016. We're also committing to implementing a Rooney Rule-like requirement to ensure at least one minority and one female candidate to be considered at the interview stage for every open leadership position."

They plan to do this by expanding their recruiting efforts with a steered focus on women and different ethnicities. What sparked this initiative was a blog post by female Pinterest engineer, Tracey Chou. The post surfaced the disparities of women in tech careers.

Calling out tech companies for not, "having honest conversations about the issue," Chou challenged the numbers of different tech companies: What is the real number of women employed at these companies? She even dove deeper into the issue, identifying where the real problem may lie. It may not just be tech companies not hiring women, it may be the lack of women applying.

"Not enough girls are taking math and science classes in elementary school. Even fewer are enrolled in computer science classes in high school. By college, women constitute less than 12% of graduating CS majors."

Looking at the actual numbers of Pinterest, Chou states (at the time of the published article) Pinterest has, "11 women out of 89 engineers, putting us at 12% female in engineering - the same percentage as coming out of undergraduate CS programs. Our inaugural intern class had 8 women out of 28 engineering interns, which is 29%."

Further elaborating on her discovery, Chou stated, "Many people ask me if it's easier because we're Pinterest. It's not, really. We have to be thoughtful about sourcing candidates and building the right culture, and we invest in deliberate efforts to connect with women in the community. We're still learning and growing, and we can get better about measuring and understanding our funnels as well. But we're eager to open the conversation."

Pinterest has been very open about this initiative and commits to holding themselves accountable to results. Pinterest isn't the only organization addressing this issue. Jewelbots, a STEM-education focused wearable, also aims to encourage young girls to take a liking to tech-focused studies.

What do you think - is Pinterest's initiative a huge step to equality in the workplace, or do we still have a long way to go?

Did Perrie Edwards Diss Ex Zayn Malik? 1D's 'Drag Me Down' Her Fave Summer Song

Perrie Edwards shade Zayn MalikDid Perrie Edwards just totally throw shade at Zayn Malik? While it's unclear exactly what terms the two are on following their breakup, it kind of sounds like Perrie's pick for her favorite summer song is getting a dig on Zayn.

Of all of the great summer song choices out there, Perrie told Radio Disney (via People.com) that she's into One Direction's new song, "Drag Me Down."

Now that can't just be some kind of coincidence, seeing as it's the very boyband that Zayn used to be a part of and then quit earlier this year. And this is the first song 1D have released without Zayn...so, is she saying that it's her fave tune because Zayn isn't in the band anymore?

She told Radio Disney, "I like One Direction's new song, 'Drag Me Down,'" adding, "It's incredible."

What does it all mean? Many think it's just a subtle way for Perrie to diss Zayn - and hey, given the rumors that he broke up with her via text message, we can't say we blame her. Otherwise, wouldn't she pick something besides a One Direction song? Just sayin'.

Given that Perrie has now taken down pics of Zayn from her Instagram account and unfollowed him, we'd say she's ready to move on.

Well, now we know who Kim Kardashian will be voting for when she steps into the booth next year!

The reality star threw her support behind Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton last night when she attended a fundraiser for her and called her "our next President."

When Kim was on her way to the event, she joked on Instagram that she hoped Hillary would snap a selfie with her and it didn't take long before this photo popped up. She got her selfie...with a little Kanye West photobomb.

Kim and Kanye were joined at the fundraiser by Kris Jenner, who also shared a picture with the Presidential candidate.
"An Honor to meet you Hillary Clinton! Great evening," she captioned the photo, along with the hashtag #ohjustchatting. Oh to be a fly on the wall in that room...Two brilliant, VERY accomplished women just having a little chit-chat, no big deal!

Justin Bieber shirtless for CosmoSelena Gomez, watch out. Your boy Justin Bieber has a crush on another singer, and we're pretty sure it might rub you the wrong way.

In the new September issue of Cosmopolitan, the Biebs spilled on his love for Katy Perry, and her boo John Mayer. He said that her song "Teenage Dream" is totally his favorite summer song and that John is his dream collaborator.

Oh crap, don't tell Taylor Swift all this!

Justin also revealed what he's "learned about women." He responds, "They are complicated." That said, he believes the "sexiest thing about a woman" is her "attitude."

And for all those trying to get them some JB action, you should probably know that he hates gladiator sandals, but loves booty shorts. He also had his very first kiss on a snow hill. How adorbs, right?

He also said he can hold his breath underwater for two minutes. Which makes him probably got at...well, you know.

And how about his tattoos? What will be the next one? Bieber said a, "Tramp stamp LOL."

Need another reason to swoon over Justin? Bieber chooses Scandal as the show he's "embarrassed to admit" he watches. He cites "Let It Be" by the Beatles as his go-to karaoke song.

Trying to freak him out? The Biebs is terrified of spiders. Oh and keep glass doors far away from him. The star confesses running into one is his "most embarrassing moment."

One Direction 'Drag Me Down' Music Video Gets Zac Efron Treatment

One Direction drag me down music videoOne Direction fans are literally on pins and needles waiting for the premiere of the new "Drag Me Down" music video. It became a trending topic on Twitter today, with Vevo even teasing the release of the new video soon. Yesterday, pics landed online of the One Direction guys shooting the video in Houston, Texas, on location at NASA Space Center - so we can only imagine what they have dreamed up for this one. We're sensing a strong astronaut vibe, but guess we'll have to wait a bit to know for sure.

Of course, waiting is always the hardest part (we are not a patient fandom sometimes), but until then, take a look at a couple of the awesome fan-made "Drag Me Down" music videos.

There was this epic fan-made "Drag Me Down" teaser video...so. much. action. And yes, of course, the return of Zac Efron in High School Musical 2 - damn if that "Bet On It" song and dance number doesn't work like a dream with "Drag Me Down."

This Pic From Kendall Jenner and Nick Jonas' First Meeting Is Too Adorable for Words

You guys, this is literally the cutest thing ever.

Now that Kendall Jenner and Nick Jonas are officially an item, we're admittedly a little bit obsessed with what just might be our favorite couple of all time.

Given that we're also kind of obsessed with cute celeb throwback photos, this pic is totally giving us life right now. It's from 2008, the first time (we know of) that Kendall and Nick met and...ahhh look how adorbs they were!
Kenny's the one in the pink pants, just in case you were wondering. Here she and Kylie are on the red carpet. Seriously, we can't handle their cuteness.
KIIS-FM's Wango Tango 2008 - Arrivals
The Jonas Brothers were performing at Wango Tango that year and the Kardashians got a chance to hang out with the band backstage, creating this epic photo in the process.

Ironically, Kim Kardashian who was 27 and dating Reggie Bush at the time, admitted that SHE had a crush on 15-year-old Nick when they met the hotties! "We met the Jonas Brothers. Nick is so cute," Kim told People magazine after the show. "I don't think Reggie will get mad because [Nick] is, like, 15...I really shouldn't say that he's cute. It's a little inappropriate! They're adorable."

They are pretty awesome...and we're sure Kim is very happy for her little sis!

You Don't Have to Be a Size 0 to Sport This Activewear

0

young woman doing yoga exercise ...Most of us ladies grew up playing with our beautiful dolls - brushing their hair, setting them in fierce poses, but best of all, dressing them up to look their best. I was that girl who made my own clothes for my dolls. They needed the best quality and style. Unfortunately, for the vast majority of American women, they are not offered the same luxuries that I was able to provide my dolls with. The quality, the designs, the comfort, the awesomeness for sizes 12 and up is just not there. As an entrepreneur, I am doing something about it, specifically in activewear.

While attending college for interior design, I applied to work as an executive assistant at an apparel factory. I didn't have apparel design knowledge or any experience in the fashion field, but I had a passion for fashion. The moment I stepped foot in that factory, it was love at first sight.

One day, my sister saw me in a pair of leggings I was given and asked if I could make her a pair just like that one. I asked why, if she could just go to the store and buy a pair just like mine. She looked at me funny and said, "You don't understand. I am plus size, and I cannot find quality leggings in pretty colors like you can."

My sister continued, "Why do you think I don't go to the gym?" I simply believed she didn't like to work out in public places, but I never thought further than that. "I just don't feel comfortable around other girls wearing cute workout clothes while I'm in hideous T-shirts and ugly sweatpants," she added. You can imagine how bad I felt when she told me that, but then I got curious. Why didn't brands design beautiful activewear for plus sizes? After much research, what I came across blew my mind.

An idea was born. I decided to take on the challenge of making my sister the best pair of leggings she could ever rock. She tried them on, and the rest is history.

I created Malesh Activewear to give curvy women beautiful, fashionable, luxurious activewear that will inspire them. There's no valid reason why any woman shouldn't feel her best while working out, running errands, and just being active, especially if fashion is the roadblock. It's time that being active is for every beautiful woman not just some.

5 Snapchat Hacks You Need to Try

woman using snapchatThese Snapchat hacks will blow your mind. You can do so much more in Snapchat than just snapping. Make your Snapchat experience better by using the following hacks:

1. Long Texts
To type long sentences, go to Notes, press Enter couple of times, copy and paste the text in your Snapchat and type as many long sentences as you want.

2. Draw With Black or White Colors
This feature is already available for all the Android users, but if you have an iPhone, there aren't many color options to choose from. In order to get different colors, just hold the pencil icon and drag it down to get darker shades (black) and left to get lighter shades (white).

3. Colorful Filters
Perfect your selfies by adding colorful filters. You can add any color you want! To get colorful filters, select any color emoji you want and keep zooming in on the side of the emoji until you can see through it. This works with colorful texts, too.

4. Change Text Sizes
You can change your text sizes by clicking the large T on the upper right corner of the Snap cam. You can also zoom in and out by simply holding the text and zooming in and out using your fingers.

5. Change Text Colors
You can change the text color by selecting the text and choosing the color you want from the drawing tool.

Happy Snapping! ;)

Miley Cyrus Just Bared Her Entire Butt in New MTV VMAs Bizarre Promo

Miley Cyrus' VMAs promoMiley Cyrus' MTV Video Music Awards promos are just as weird and body-baring as she is. In the latest one that she just shared on Instagram, the twerking queen makes mouths drop and gives off several WTF-moments.

Miley is signed on to host this year's show, and if these promos are hints of what we should expect from her...we're a little scared. In the newest one, Miley flaunts her stuff in a star-spangled thong in front of a green screen...basically showing off her entire, bare ass.

We know, we know...that's nothing new or shocking for Miley. Especially after she posted those NSFW pictures with her girlfriend Stella Maxwell from their W magazine spread a few days ago.

In the promo, she calls out her infamous VMAs performance with Robin Thicke a few years ago. She also does her trademark tongue wagging.

"F**k yeah VMAzzzzzz!!!!!" she captioned her cray cray video. Watch that ish below.

The VMAs air on MTV, Sunday, August 30. We can't even imagine what Miley's going to bust out for the show.

Chris Brown Tweets About Custody Issues, Says "Some Females Use Children as Meal Tickets"

2015 BET Awards - ArrivalsOne day after promoting his new single with Rita Ora, "Body On Me," Chris Brown is once again using social media to vent about his personal life. On Friday, Chris posted a couple of tweets that implied he's more than frustrated with Nia Guzman, the mother of his daughter Royalty. Although he didn't mention her by name, it's not that difficult to identify the intended recipient. As highlighted by Jezebel, one of the more grating aspects about these tweets is Chris' problematic use of the word "female." Then there's the fact that he penned a lengthy Instagram post just last month explaining the terms of his paternity suit and vowing that it would be his last time addressing the matter publicly.

After Nia and her mother took to social media to defend themselves against reports that suggested they were solely out for cash, Chris wrote (and later deleted), "I filed for joint custody. "EQUAL" custody. No kid needs 4k a week. Especially when I have her 2weeks out of the month. So this is the last time im ever saying my peace on the issue. Let the courts handle everything else so we can handle the matter as civil adults. Telling all your business is childish and is not setting a good loving environment for ROYALTY. I have no ill intentions and I love my daughter. #godbless."

Ah, well. Chris' temporary shade-throwing break was nice while it lasted.

Live Chat With Your Fav Celebs On Facebook

0

woman watching videos in a...Facebook is on a tear to break the mold of being the "cool thing your older sister used in college." First, they plan to launch drones that laser beam internet down to rural areas, and now they're looking to connect you directly with movie stars, athletes, and other public figures all over the world.

Meet Live for Facebook Mentions: Live is available to public figures (celebs) only and provides high-resolution live streaming of celebrities directly to your computer or mobile device. Facebook's spokesperson says this app is for, "public figures [to] share live video from Facebook Mentions. [The app] makes it easy for athletes, musicians, politicians, and other influencers to talk with their fans and each other. You can discover these live videos from public figures you follow in your News Feed."

What differentiates this from other streaming devices? First, the resolution is a bajillion times better and it's easily accessible, unlike other streaming devices. I even wrote an article about Periscope, and I'm still not sure if I'm using it properly. And let's be honest - we're on Facebook all the time, even if they aren't the coolest cat on the block anymore.

Yes, we tease Facebook about how they're the kid who used to be cool in college (oh, the irony), has graduated, but still awkwardly still comes back to house parties. But what makes Facebook "still cool" is that they know they're that kid. They aren't trying to be the next SnapChat - they're trying to be the company that one day Elon Musk will build a rocket ship for. That, my friends, is how you become f*&king cool.

Live reminds me of when the iPad first came out. I'll admit it - I didn't understand, or could comprehend, the world-changing technology that the iPad one day would hold in its library of apps. "It's just a big iPhone!" Now, the iPad is doing things that truly change the world: educating children (both domestically and internationally), helping children that are receiving cancer treatment, starting and growing small businesses - the list is endless. Take note (Facebook did): that's how you become f*&cking cool.

Some stars are already taking a liking to Live. Lindsay Vonn, for example, took fans on a ski trip down a hill in New Zealand. It was pretty adorable to see her fumble with putting her gloves on and holding her phone, making her extremely personable and likable. I actually forgot that she dated Tiger Woods - the dude that cheated on his wife with about 1,000,000,000 different women.

Skiing in New Zealand

Posted by Lindsey Vonn on Wednesday, August 5, 2015

But that's the whole point, right? What better way to positively portray yourself and connect with people to grow your fan base than speak directly with them.

Stephen Amell, star of The CW Network's hit show Arrow, used Live this past week. Stephen is already known for being an A+ celeb when connecting with fans, so the use of Live is just the cherry on top of his efforts. What makes Stephen even more awesome is that he's an activist. Last year he raised millions for cancer research with a t-shirt featuring one of his signature slogans.

The main outlet he used to promote this campaign was Facebook. He posted recorded videos and wrote posts almost daily to raise awareness. This has made him one of the most authentic celebrities on the platform, and what better way to portray extreme authenticity than to take it one step further and connect with fans "Live".

Personally, I'm excited for the next celebrity to use Live and speak to their fan base of millions, urging them to contribute to a cause like curing cancer. For those that say Live is a poor investment, copycat of other live streaming services, or that no one will plan their day to watch a live feed of their favorite celebrity - go to San Diego Comic Con. I saw people camped out days in advance to watch a 30 minute panel from 50 rows back. If you tell those fans they can sit in bed and stream Ian Somerhalder to live chat - they'll move mountains to do so.

Live has the opportunity to be more than an app that lets you send concert updates with a caption of emojis, it could change the way we bring awareness to issues around the world - and solve them. For now, though, I'm happy just getting a close up of Stephen's face. #TeamArrow

We Are Officially Obsessed With Kylie Jenner's New 'Do

Kylie Jenner has had her hair literally every color of the rainbow except this one, which is a fairly standard hair color, but still totally different for Ky. It's kind of a blondish brown with a little hint of red and we think it's totally gorg!

The reality star showed off her new hair on SnapChat and we can't help but wonder if this is yet another one of her totally convincing wigs or if she really took the plunge and lightened her own locks. We kinda hope it's the latter because this color totally works on her. Then again, we haven't seen one that doesn't...

Ky might have done the new 'do for the new chapter that's about to begin in her life, as she's turning 18 in just a few days and that's going to mean big changes for her, like moving into her insanely awesome new pad.

She's going to be celebrating her birthday at Beachclub Montreal, where she'll be able to drink legally, since the drinking age is 18 there. According to TMZ, she's also getting between $100,000 and $200,000 just to show up, so it's a pretty good gig!

The club has shared some of their prep photos on Instagram and it looks like it's going to be a blast. Hopefully she'll share some pics from the party so we can live vicariously through her!

This Is Who Lady Gaga Will Be Playing on 'American Horror Story: Hotel'

Songwriters Hall Of Fame 46th Annual Induction And Awards - Show
Yassss! New details just rolled in about Lady Gaga's American Horror Story character (anyone else super excited for the premiere?!)

We had already heard the "Born This Way" crooner would be one-third of a love triangle with Matt Bomer and Finn Wittrock's characters, but now the name of Gaga's character and persona have been revealed as well.

The singer will play "wealthy social doyenne" Elizabeth - the owner of a haunted hotel - show co-creator Ryan Murphy said at FX's Television Critics Association Press Tour, according to Variety, adding that Elizabeth "consumed with art and fashion and people, and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode." Gaga started shooting Monday.

Elizabeth is also bisexual, and will have relationships with Matt, Angela Bassett and Cheyenne Jackson. How steamy!

Ryan said the idea for this season's theme was inspired by a surveillance video from a Los Angeles hotel that surfaced two years ago. In the footage, there was a girl in an elevator who was never seen again. "It is called 'Hotel,' and it's set in a hotel," the producer said, revealing that the season will be set in downtown L.A. "We deal with a lot of American horrors, [including] addiction."

Before those details were revealed, Gaga gave fans a taste of what's to come on Twitter, tweeting a 10-second clip in July that showed a creepy looking had ringing a bell.
AHS: Hotel debuts Oct. 7 on FX. We can't wait to see Lady Gaga and the rest of the cast in action.

Couple Performs Epic Six-Minute Wedding First Dance to Flawless Musical Mashup

Who says planning a wedding is hard? Well, for any couple who has time and patience to choreograph a six-minute first dance routine to practically every hit song from the past two decades, the planning process must feel like more of a good time than just an endless list of chores for the big day.

In a viral video that was uploaded to YouTube, a newly married couple by the name of Hollie and Dave Smith hit the dance floor at their wedding for the first time as husband and wife. They start out embracing and slow dancing to Justin Timberlake's "Mirror," but before anyone can say "Awww," they flip the script into what turns out to be an epic bride-groom dance-off, attendants included.

Seriously, the entire routine feels like watching a concert with a star-studded soundtrack. The bride and groom run through hits like Soulja Boy's "Crank That (Soulja Boy) and Sir Mix-a-Lot's booty glorifying classic "Baby Got Back." At one point, the bride morphs into Bride-yoncé, leading her bridesmaids in a sassy routine to Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious." (Major props to her for managing to nail every move while wearing a floor-length gown.)

One question, though: Whose idea was it for the groom and his attendants to perform the "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)?"

Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Naming Their Son Easton?

LACMA Director's Conversation With Steve McQueen, Kanye West, And Michael Govan About Kim Kardashian is pregnant again, and is expecting her son in December, which means the Kim Kardashian baby name rumors are here to stay for at least another couple of months.

Of course, the go-to joke for everyone was that the baby's name would be "South West" because their daughter's name is North, but Kim shut down that rumor pretty quickly when she appeared on NPR Radio in June.

"I don't like South West, though, because North will always be better, she has a better direction," she told them. "I don't think we'll go with another direction."

That being the case, we were a little surprised when the next name the rumor mill produced was yet another direction...well, sorta.

According to an exclusive report by the Daily Mail, KimYe has decided on "Easton." Not exactly "East" but pretty darn close.

"Easton is the chosen name. It's confirmed that the baby boy will be called Easton,' a close family friend told them. "Kourtney [Kardashian] told a few girls at a Hidden Hills pool party last weekend that Kayne's favorite name by far is 'Easton', a name Kim wasn't hot on at first because Kanye liked simply 'East'...But Kim came up with Easton and, for them, history was made."

For what it's worth, there were also rumors when Kim was pregnant with North that SHE was going to be named Easton. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Anna Kendrick Gave Her Friend the Best Wedding Gift Ever

Britain Pitch Perfect 2 ScreeningAnna Kendrick might be the best maid of honor ever.

On her childhood best friend's wedding day in Maine Aug. 2, the Pitch Perfect star reportedly gave her a gift we would die to have: a full set of diamond jewelry on loan from Harry Kotlar, according to Us Weekly.

Apparently, Anna has been working up a storm and couldn't do "all the traditional duties" she wanted to do for the bride, a source told the mag, so she did the next best thing. "She just wanted to make her friend feel even more special on her wedding day to make up for it." We have no doubt she did. Diamonds make just about anything better honestly, even if they're loaner diamonds.

Just think if Anna was in your wedding party. You'd have a chance of wearing some pretty awesome diamonds, she may even break it down (in song and dance) at your reception, and she would for sure tweet about your big day afterwards. Seriously, who could ask for more?

As or Anna's own wedding day, don't look for her to be on the hunt for diamonds for that any time soon. The actress is dating cinematographer Ben Richardson, but she's doesn't have marriage fever (just yet, at least). Back in September 2014, she told Cosmopolitan, "My parents got married late, so I just assumed that people didn't even consider marriage until they were in their 30s."

"When friends of mine started getting married at, like, 24, I was like, 'Why? What's wrong? Do you need a green card? What's happening?' I was so confused," she continued.

Just one more reason why we love here.

Here's What Ashley Tisdale Really Thinks About Married Life

Chopard At 23rd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing PartyAshley Tisdale is loving married life.

The High School Musical alum gave us all types of feels when she dished about her relationship with hubby Christopher French, telling E! News Tuesday, "It's great, it's great."

"It takes a long time to get to that, I think," she continued. "There's definitely been past relationships where I've been like 'this is so hard, is this how it's supposed to be?' And then you get to The One and you're like 'Oh my god, if only I knew that this is what it's like.' So it's amazing." Seriously, this girl makes us want to get married tomorrow.

Ashley and Christopher, who tied the knot in September 2014, are about to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. While she kept mum on her plans for that, she did dish on her new lifestyle site, TheHauteMess.com, which she's managed to launch this week in the midst of being a wife and starring on her new TBS show Clipped.

"I've been developing this site for over a year and I'm so excited to finally share this with you," she wrote in a post on the site to celebrate its launch Wednesday. "When thinking of what kind of blog I wanted to do, I decided to do something a little different from the rest. There are so many times in my life where I literally stop and say 'omg I'm such a hot mess right now' and I always feel like 'if only I had my sh*t together ...' But that's what life is about, learning how to make your own way and embracing 'the haute mess' in all of us."
