My best friend of 10 years (since third grade) decided to go off of a rumor that my other best friend started and wasn't even true to claim that she hated me. This was the last four weeks of our senior year in high school. Here goes:

The week before prom, I found out my grandfather, whom I was closer with than my actual father, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had weeks - maybe months - to live. That same day, my best friend since sophomore year (we'll call her, Jenn, to protect her privacy) texted to ask if I wanted to hang out. I told her the circumstances and that I couldn't, and she didn't reply for a while.

Then I received the following texts:

Jenn: "Guess who won't let me in their prom group?"

Me: "(Names two girls who she is angry with)"

Jenn: "Yeah! I need new friends, all of mine suck!"

Me: "...Thanks."

Jenn: "Well it's true."

Me: "Maybe you should act like a friend in order for others to be a friend to you."

-No Reply-

The next day I received multiple texts from people all over the school, asking me why I egged Jenn's car and saying how rude I was. The one that hit me the hardest was my best friend of 10 years (alias: Molly). The conversation went like this:

Molly: "Did you egg Jenn's car?"

Me:"No why do you think that?"

Molly: "Well, apparently you two fought last night and she said you did it. It's not like you haven't done that before..."

Me:"What the hell are you talking about?"

Molly: "Remember when someone put pads all over my car sophomore year? I know it was you."

Me: "I didn't touch your car, I'm kind of sick you think I would do that to you..."

Molly: "Everyone knows that you're nothing but a liar and you always have been."

Me: "Where is this coming from?"

Molly: "I think it's time you fessed up to your mistakes. You lie all the time and that's why you have no real friends."

I then texted Jenn:

Me: "I promise I didn't do anything to your car."

Jenn: "Whatever McKenna, you're sick."

At this point I was in my first hour class, still trying to swallow the news about my grandfather, and now trying not to cry in front of everyone (I failed at that last part and ended up sobbing by a tree outside the classroom). My group for prom was all very close, including me, so when one person had a problem with someone, so did everyone else. I was automatically shunned from my high school friend group.

Fast forward an hour or two, I get a text from my mother:

"The student resource officer (SRO) just called me and I had to confirm you were with me last night?"

I knew exactly what happened, and it wasn't until I got a note from our SRO a couple minutes later that I realized my best friends were really trying to get me in trouble for something I had absolutely no part of. I had to go down to the office, confirm my alibi and go to class crying...again.

After Jenn never got her "justice" for me, she took a new form of evil. Around 5 p.m., I began receiving phone calls and texts telling me what a sick person I am, that I'm an "asshole," and the worst blow: A couple people told me I was better off dead and should just do the job. It wasn't until some "kind" soul sent me a picture of a post on Ifunny saying: "This person egged my car and caused damage to the paint, PLEASE call and text to mess with them. Thanks!"
I broke down, called my mom sobbing, and I didn't know what to do. I still don't understand how people can be so freaking cruel. This was all because they assumed I egged a girl's car and basically tried to ruin my life. I took it to our SRO, and he didn't do anything, neither did my school counselor nor my principle.

This all happened the week before prom. My date was part of that close-knit group, and the next day, I got a text saying that he "couldn't find a tux" when earlier he told me he had one. He ditched me along with all of my friends. Long story-short, I went to prom alone. BUT I STILL WENT AND HAD A BLAST. (Don't ever let people think they can ruin you.)

The Wednesday after prom, my friend texted me in the morning to say that she heard Jenn and Molly gloating about how they got my date to ditch me and watched me have to go alone. I regret my decision after this because after school, I confronted Molly and lost it. I cried, asking her why she would do this and "What kind of sick human being takes pleasure in others torment?" That was when her boy toy came up and began yelling at me, saying how I didn't matter and that everyone was tired of me. I got in my car and left.

Worst four weeks of my high school career.

But I have since forgiven them and moved on with my life because if I were to keep bitter, they would win. I have all the friends I need, I'm going to a great university, and I have an awesome job. I don't have to see them, and I don't let them interrupt my daily life, ever.

My advice to anyone who is being bullied in any type of way: You are better than them, that, and all the crap they are putting you through. I know it seems like there's no light at the end of the tunnel, but there is. It's when you succeed and they have to live knowing what they did to you.

Well, this just breaks our hearts. It sounds like the rumors that Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo broke up are true, as much as we just didn't want to believe it.

After dating for two years, multiple sources confirm the split to ET, with one source noting that they've been staying in separate hotels in New York City. Another insider said Olivia is "heartbroken" over the breakup.

Rumors swirled last week after they were seen in different places in NYC, with Nick looking a bit sad while out to lunch.

Neither Nick nor Olivia have confirmed that they've parted ways and, in fact, just last week Nick told ABC News they were "good" but that a long distance relationship was "tough." He explained, "Dealing with that is always an interesting thing, but it's all good. We're both busy, and young, and enjoying life, so, it's going well."

Well, now we don't know what to believe, tbh. We'll still wait for an official confirmation from Nick and Olivia before calling this one. We'll just watch this while we wait:

Selena Gomez has always had gorgeous hair, so it's not surprising that she just landed a new gig...thanks to her mane! How do we get a job like that?

The brunette beauty is officially the brand ambassador for Pantene. Sel shows off her luscious locks in a new behind-the-scenes video that just made its way online today. In it, you get glimpses of her awesome hair and watch her kick off her first official Pantene photoshoot. Seriously though, how beautiful is she?!

Having on fleek hair wasn't the only reason why Sel took on this role. The company actually represents a lot of the pro-image stuff she's been trying to promote to her fans these days.

"Three reasons I'm excited to be Pantene's new ambassador [are that] I've used it my whole life. Second, their message for women being strong is beautiful and what they represent is so what I embody and what I want my fans to know, to feel confident, and third, it's fun! It's so fun to feel like your inner girl, playing with your hair and just feeling beautiful and having fun with it," she said in a press release.

"I've always loved using Pantene, so it's a dream come true to be the brand's newest ambassador. Not only because Pantene stands for strong, healthy hair but also because it encourages women to be their best selves. Ed totally surprised a fan he heard her singing his song while he was shopping at the mall. Imagine the girl's shock when she was belting out his tune, looked over and bam!

The epic moment went down when Eddie was shopping with Rixton's Jake Roche. He's actually the one who posted the footage online.

"Went on a peaceful shopping trip with Ed to the mall," Jake captioned the video. "There was a kids talent show going on and he heard someone singing 'thinking out loud'. Only made sense. Shopping was cut short but what an incredible thing to witness."

Hell hath no fury like a pissed off One Direction fan. Seriously, don't upset the fandom or there will be some serious fallout to contend with.

That's what YouTube star Tyler Oakley found out when he explained why he doesn't follow Liam Payne on Twitter (but Liam follows him). A fan asked why not, and he responded: "It's important to keep my timeline flawfree."

Oh no he didn't. (He did.)

As you can imagine, a s**tstorm of angry comments were aimed at Tyler, as loyal Liam supporters came forward to fight the good fight, with the hashtag ‪#liamdefensesquad.

As these things go, some of the comments got pretty mean and hatery. We're all One Direction af, but death threats and hateful comments are a little too extreme.

Tyler's comment about keeping things "flawfree" is likely referring to Liam's support last year of Duck Dynasty despite one of the show's stars making a homophobic comment. At the time, Tyler had tweeted: "Wow. Very confused and disappointed by this @Real_Liam_Payne tweet. This literally changes everything..."

He added, "If you defend someone actively supporting bigotry, homophobia, and ignorance, we're not on the same wavelength to even have a discussion."

Liam has steered clear of any drama over Tyler not following him - we suppose with fans coming to his defense, he doesn't have to say anything, right?

April Fool's Day is long gone, so, yes, this is really happening.

Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he is launching his presidential campaign for the 2016 election, after hinting for more than two decades that he might run for the office one day, according to CNN.

"So, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again," the real estate mogul told a crowd. The Donald, who has found just about any reason to slam President Barack Obama during his terms, hasn't actually held a political office himself .

Still, (not surprisingly) The Donald feels he is the "most successful person ever to run for the presidency, by far." How, you ask? For starters, he has a "Gucci store worth more than [Mitt] Romney," he said. The Apprentice executive producer is also worth $8.7 billion, according to a personal financial disclosure he was required to release, so while the statement is totally Trump-esque, he might have a point.

Speaking of The Apprentice, Donald said he wouldn't be renewing his contract with NBC for the reality show, since he can't appear on the network and run for president at the same time, according to CBS.

It's going to be interesting how this one turns out, but, one thing's for sure. We can definitely expect some epic quotables from him as he seeks the Republican nomination. Game on.

Kristen Stewart's mom Jules made headlines yesterday for an interview she supposedly gave to The Mirror claiming her daughter was "happy" in a relationship with her assistant Alicia Cargile. After that article got people buzzing, Jules denied ever discussing her daughter to UsWeekly, explaining her statements about gay rights were in reference to her movie K-11.

Now Sharon Feinstein, the writer behind the original Mirror story, is standing by her reporting and threatening to release audio recordings from her interview with Jules. She took to Twitter to defend her reporting in a series of Tweets.

If your car was parked on the side of the road and someone hit it, you'd be pissed, right? Yeah, so would we! Well, this guy wasn't. Not even a little bit.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson posted this pic on his Instagram page of a truck that he accidentally hit and the guy he's got his arm around is the owner. What the heck?

"Here's a fun story to start your week off... I'm driving to set in my pick up truck - music blasting - I'm singing away like I'm having a one man party in my truck - then I hear a loud BANG. What the hell..? Look in my rear view and see I sideswiped another pick up that was parked in the street and destroyed the side mirror," he captioned the photo.

He immediately flipped a U-turn (because he's a good guy and everything) and as he was getting back to "the scene," the guy was heading back to his car and was going to see the damage in 3, 2, 1...

But the guy wasn't even mad...

"I said 'Sir, is this your truck?'. He stopped and stared at me for a good 5 seconds, looked around his neighborhood, looked back at me and 'Yes it is. Why?. I said 'Well, sorry to tell ya I sideswiped it and knocked the hell outta your mirror and may have done even more damage," he wrote. "You give me your info and I'll leave you mine and I'll take care of everything'. He stared at me again, cocked his head sideways and said..'Uhhh.. Are you The Rock?'. I said 'Yup'. He broke out into a huge smile and said 'Wow, this is gonna be an awesome story!'"

You've got that right, it is an amazingly awesome story! And not just for your friends, the entire internet loves it, too!

In case you're wondering if the guy had a change of heart after he processed everything and assessed the damage, he didn't. The Rock called him a few days later and offered, again, to pay for what he'd done and the guy again refused, saying he did all of the repairs himself. Nice to see that there are still honest people like that out there.

And the whole thing is probably pretty good karma for both of these guys!

I love dress-up. My niece and I play it all the time. To celebrate her sixth birthday, we hosted a dress-up party. We played around in all her princess dresses, which seems impossible for a 22-year-old to do. But I just had to keep my clothes on underneath and leave everything unbuttoned.

Think an adult is too old to look like Belle from Beauty and the Beast?

WRONG!

Nobody can ever tell you you're too old for something. I still sleep with a teddy bear - granted it's the 1D varsity jacket teddy bear - but my sister and I have found a grown-up way to play dress-up that will make you feel good.
If you want to do something with your girlfriends on a Friday night and you don't want go clubbing (but still want to feel pretty), grab your group and run to the mall! Well, I mean, you can drive, or take the bus, of course.

My sister and I have found that when we just want something to do, even when we don't have any money to spend, nothing is better than trying on new clothes. I like seeing how I look in new trends, or colors I've never seen on me.

Find a store that doesn't mind a bunch of rowdy girls soliciting, grab all the clothes you find interesting and get into the largest dressing room together. Just have the biggest dress-up party! Most stores in the mall won't mind you doing this at all. They know that a large percentage of the kids don't have any money, and the employees are going to be there no matter what kind of customers come in. If you find some really nice employees, they'll give you great compliments, too!

Make sure you bring a camera with you because you're going to want to capture your memories with your girls. Just don't capture anybody in their underwear! And make sure you have everyone's consent before you go around posting online. But make silly faces, and I'm willing to bet you will.

Dressing up is a great way to figure out what type of clothes and colors look best on you. Doing it with your friends gives everyone the chance to build each other's confidence up. And honestly, what's better than that?

If your mall happens to have one of these seven stores, they won't mind you sampling some of their awesome beauty products if you do decide to go dancing later that night.

At Kim Kardashian's Glamour cover shoot, the reality star sat down to write a letter to her future self, which is not to be opened until 2025 and it's surprisingly empowering.

We thought it was just going to be funny - and there is plenty of that - but she touches on some seriously important subjects, like loving your body. "When it comes to how you feel about your body, remember to be kind to yourself and enjoy how you look now, because you're not getting any younger," she wrote, for herself to be reminded of in 2025.

We love that concept because any time you're not feeling your hottest, remember that in 10 or 20 years, you would give anything to go back and look the way you did right in this moment. No matter what age you are, stop and appreciate it and embrace it, because you'll look back one day and long for it.

The rest of the letter outlined Kim's hopes for her sisters and she shared some really sweet sentiments in there, too. Like wanting Khloe to fall madly in love and find her happily ever after.

And whatever is cool in 2025, Kim still wants to be that. "Are the terms bae and on fleek sooooo 2015? If not, am I still on fleek?" she joked.

I am never the confident one when it comes to relationships. I have never met one of my boyfriends on my own. Either friends or family members set us up. I've been asked on blind dates twice, and each time, I couldn't have been more terrified.

My first blind date was in 2009 when I was a junior in high school. I had just ended a two-month relationship, and my friends decided that a blind date would be fun. After school, I met with this high school senior for my first blind date, and those first 20 minutes remain the most awkward of my life.

We met at a patisserie and exchanged nothing more than a few occasional smiles as none of us had done anything like this before. I broke the ice and asked him how it was to be a senior, and we spent the next two hours talking about life goals, college applications and life in general.

In 2013, after ending a two-year relationship, I was talking about boyfriends with my friends, and this time, I asked them set me up on a blind date. I ended up going out with a college graduate who was living his life to the fullest and was my complete opposite, which made us argue a lot. We didn't talk for long as I felt uncomfortable, so I just left. We never met again.

Although I have had only two blind dates, this is what I learned:

1. Meeting someone by yourself is tricky; making a relationship work is tricky. Leaving when you are feeling uncomfortable with someone is NOT tricky. It's actually pretty easy if you just follow your gut.
2. Standing up for yourself is required nowadays, whether that's in a blind date or life in general.

Don't EVER let anyone make judge of values about yourself.

The One Direction guys have been bringing their A game to the stage at their recent concerts - and we don't just mean their kick-ass voices, either. Every 1D concert has a little memorable moment (or two...or three...) where the guys get up to something that takes their performance to the next level.

At their recent Brussels show, we not only got a peek at Liam Payne's ability to pull off a headstand (and sport a burger on his head - wtf?), but Harry Styles also got up close and personal with a blow-up doll. Not in the dirty way, of course, but Harry did share a sweet dance with the doll. Careful, Harry, this is how those crazy dating rumors get started!

Watch as Harry summons the inflatable lady to the stage, she does a little crowd surfing and then gets to share a special moment with Harry. So jelly.

The newest Instagram trend is nothing more than another way to make us feel unhappy with our own bodies, so that we can feel accepted by society. Ladies, I present to you, the Belly Button Challenge.

It started in China as the result of an false unknown U.S. study, which claims that if you place one of arms behind your back and can touch your belly button with one finger, then you are your ideal weight. If not, better hit the treadmill, girl.When I first saw an article about the Belly Button Challenge in Marie Claire, I decided to write this blog post - not because I wanted to see if I should lose weight or if I was the "ideal" body type. I love my body, and it's taken a lot of effort for me to feel this way. Yes, although I might look like I have NOTHING to be concerned about, let me clarify that I do. I still suffer from low self-esteem, and sometimes, I still gaze in the mirror, pointing out all of my flaws.

The silver lining to this silly Belly Button Challenge is this kid who proves that EVERYONE can touch their belly button.

Later, he admitted that he did it with help of a friend, who was hidden behind him (I thought that hand looked different!). He added that he took the pic to make everyone feel accepted and good about their weight. Kudos to you, kid! You are an inspiration!

The woman in this video shared it because she wanted others to see what a real Asperger's meltdown looks like. It's incredibly difficult to watch, but also very important, because this is a very real symptom of the syndrome, which will hopefully help people understand it better.

I trained him to alert to depressive episodes and self harm not both but he alerted. It appears the response is late but it's actually supposed to be as I'm coming out of the meltdown as I tend to have a panic attack after."

Samson is her service dog and his attempts to prevent her from inadvertently harming herself are both touching and heartbreaking at the same time. It also shows what an incredibly important role service dogs can play in the lives of people who need them.

"I'm a therapist that works with kids on the spectrum. The service dogs are amazing and more insurance companies should cover the cost," one person commented on Imgur. "As a behavioral therapist for kids with autism... THIS is amazing. This dog is better at my job than I am," another shared.

In a second clip from the incident, Samson actually puts himself between Danielle's hand and her body to try to prevent her from hurting herself.

Niall Horan has a One Direction infection. Er...a chest infection, anyway. The 1D singer took to Twitter to share his sad diagnosis, sending fans into hyper concerned mode as they shared their get well wishes.

Niall's sickness comes after a night out partying with Ariana Grande and some pals to celebrate mutual friend Alfredo Flores' birthday. Both Niall and Ariana shared pics from the night out - but don't you dare say that Nialler and Ari are dating after her epic rant on double standards.

Amy Schumer's waiter at Peter's Clam Bar likely wasn't laughing after the Comedy Central star dined at the Long Island restaurant (because he was probably in shock): she left more than a 1000% tip!

While enjoying soup and a few appetizers, the comedienne began chatting with her waiter. Page Six reports that she had an "engaging, animated conversation with her server, Ryan", where he mentioned he was "a college student working two jobs to fund his education."

When the bill came and totaled $49, she left a whopping tip of $500. Now the media got wind of her generosity, she's laughing it off on Twitter.

At my age, I'm constantly asked what grade I attend in college. Doctors ask me, people in concert lines, even cashiers and waiters. I would be graduating this week if my school experience had been normal.

But my life has never been normal - I wasn't a normal, healthy child - so why should my education be normal? I remember not wanting to go to kindergarten. I never went to preschool, so kindergarten was my mommy-don't-leave-me experience (except it was my dad who actually took me my first day). Oh, and the kicker: A neighborhood girl told my classmates that I wet my bed.

You can see why my teacher quickly became my BFF. My parents let her know that I was sickly (I had been from birth). There were days of sitting close to the teacher's desk, and half days, and mornings curled up underneath my mother's blanket because I simply couldn't get out of bed.

When I got to first grade, my teacher assigned me a front-row seat. The other kids made fun of me for being sick, but I never thought they were bullying me. I just didn't understand why I never felt well. I had my first panic attack when the kids laughed at me because the teacher wouldn't call my mom to tell her I had a stomach ache. I only attended half of the year after that.

I liked second and third grades just fine, but we switched schools in fourth grade. I had bullies there, and one of them was a teacher. My mom worked in the customer service building next door, and whenever I got sick, I was allowed to go lie down in her office. This happened often. So did having her take me home early.

September 11 happened the year I attended a private school, and I didn't want to go back afterward. My teachers had to take my mom and me to the hospital on an emergency. I spent two days in the stomach labs. If I had not been allowed to work at my own pace and skip ahead in the curriculum, I don't know that I would've passed that year.

I thought I'd found a miracle when my parents announced we were going to homeschool. I didn't want to go back to school and be sick again. I homeschooled the rest of my education, minus a stint where I tried going to high school until I was in so much pain that I could barely walk and was diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome.

I HATE being asked why I don't go to college because I don't have some special otherworldly answer like I'm trying to find myself. The truth is, school and I don't get along. The truth, is I'm just too sick.
I never really think about how sick I am - even though I deal with it every day - until I talk to someone about my symptoms or tell them the things I can't do. And then it just hits me. I'm sick. I mean, I'm really sick. I can't go to college, I can't work, and I can't travel far. It's hard to go to church most Sundays.

But I have never felt sorry for myself. People tell me that they're sorry I'm sick, and I'm just like, "Why? I'm not." I may be sick, but I can still make a life out of what I've got. I want to write. And all I've ever wanted to do is write. OK, when I was 15, I wanted to be Tara Strong, and at 7, I totally thought I could be the first princess on the moon. But, other than that, it's always been writing. And it has never been about whether or not I'm sick. My illnesses are completely separate from my writing. And everything I need to learn about my writing, I can get from reading.

I can't go to college. Frankly, the thought scares the ever living mess out of me. And thankfully, I don't need to.

When you are a kid, there is nothing greater in life than finding out you're going to Disneyland or Disney World. Any Disney park will do, just get me to Disney!

This lucky kid just found out that's exactly what he's going to be doing in this amazing video that will make you totally wish you were the one opening that box.

At the beginning, it looks like little Sean is not having the most amazing day ever. He's got a tissue in his hand and he doesn't look too happy. That tissue ended up coming in real handy when he found out he was going to Disney World and started crying happy tears.

"What do you want to do, Lazer Tag or SkyZone?" the mom asked, knowing they would be doing nothing of the sort. Sean was not impressed with either option, and that's when mom dropped the Disney bomb. "We got this in the mail today," she said, as she handed him a box of Magic Bands. "How about you open it up and see? How would you like to go there today instead?"

Um, obviously! At first, Sean was so excited, he needed a minute. Then, he did something adorable and climbed up to the front seat to hug his parents. That sweet moment had to be worth the price of admission right there.

It sounds like their week-long Disney trip went really well, too. Brian, Sean's father, replied to a commenter on the YouTube video and said that they "had a blast."
