Miley Cyrus Reveals When and How She Told Her Mom She's Bisexual

Tish Cyrus and Miley CyrusWe've all wondered if Miley Cyrus is into girls, and now she's made it pretty clear. During her recent interview with Paper magazine, the twerking queen revealed that she actually told her mother that she liked girls back in her Hannah Montana days.

Not only did Miley bare it all in this latest issue, but she also opened up about basically coming out to her mom. Now, let's make it clear, she didn't use the word "bisexual" at all during the interview, but she did admit that she "loves" everything about women, and is attracted to them like she is men.

"I remember telling [my mom] I admire women in a different way. And she asked me what that meant. And I said, I love them. I love them like I love boys," Miley shared, revealing that the news was not easy for her mom to take at first.

"And it was so hard for her to understand. She didn't want me to be judged and she didn't want me to go to hell. But she believes in me more than she believes in any god. I just asked for her to accept me. And she has."

Wow. How lucky is Miley to have parents like that? Especially because she says they're, "conservative-ass motherfu**ers."

Miley was only 14 when she opened up to her mom, and was way too famous and young to come out in public. Interestingly enough, she also told the magazine that she's had very serious relationships with women that she never really talked about. Quit trying to think of all her current and past gal pals. We already tried, and we can't figure out which ladies were chosen, either.

"People never really looked at it, and I never brought it into the spotlight," Miley explained.

"I don't relate to being boy or girl, and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl," she shared, making it well-known that when it comes to the future of her love life there are no restrictions.

Are you surprised by Miley's sexuality news? By her mother's reaction?

Zayn Malik Dyed His Hair White: His Hot New Selfie

zayn malik blonde platinum white hair picSomeone's having a little fun after quitting a famous boy band...we officially can't keep up with Zayn Malik's ever-changing hair color, tbh. First, there was green, then fiancée Perrie Edwards said he had changed it up again to orange. Now...white?!

Zayn broke his recent Twitter silence with a series of tweets that started with "Sunny days..." followed by a selfie pic of him sporting white (blonde?) hair. We. Are. In. Love. Seriously, he can't go wrong - long hair, short hair, shaved hair, dyed hair. It all just works.

Is the "normal 22-year-old" just trying to find the perfect color to suit him or is he totally bored with all of his free time now that he's not touring the world with One Direction?

Either way, we are grateful for Zayn's latest tweets and hope he spends more time chatting with the fans about what he's up to, even if it is just changing his hair. He also tweeted: "Had it purple yesterday ha trying em all out ha."

What color do you think he'll eventually stick with?

When I Didn't See Many South Asians on TV, I Became a Reporter

girls who code cambioI remember being young and fawning over Disney Channel starlets like pre-twerking Miley and Brenda Song on Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Looking down at my tan skin, I never thought I could make it on TV. Still, that didn't stop me from hosting my own Hannah Montana concerts on my bed, pretending the pillows were my fans - yes, I high fived every one of them (anything for the fans). Gleaming with joy, I would fasten my bejeweled belts above my waist like Hannah. Playing make-believe never seemed to end when my upstairs neighbor and I would plan Hannah Montana concerts in our backyard and set up chairs for our family members to sit and watch us (they never came). We'd go all out, handwriting scripts of our favorite episodes onto loose leaf, meticulously erasing away any errors.

I never saw people like myself on TV. I could never make sense of it, and I didn't realize I had the potential to change it, either. When Indian model Freida Pinto landed a lead role in Danny Boyle's film Slumdog Millionaire I basked in compliments of her being my doppelgänger. Still, this was only one film - and a L'Oreal commercial. Where were the rest of the South Asians? The closest match I could find were the Middle Eastern Kardashian sisters, who embraced dark hair and exotic complexions. In one of the show's episodes, Kim visits Dubai and India and mentions how happy her Armenian father would be if he knew she visited. This irked me. Why should I have to settle for a "close enough" representative of the South Asian community on television? I was sick of not feeling acknowledged in the media. It felt unfair and wrong. I wanted to change it, but I didn't know how.

The best decision I ever made was joining Girls Who Code, a nonprofit organization that aims to teach 1 million girls how to code by 2020. By 2020, there will be four times as many STEM jobs as there will be people qualified to fill those positions. Houston, we have a problem! On day one, our awesome instructors dispelled our illusions of what a computer scientist looks like - no, the title doesn't just describe a nerdy male wearing a plaid shirt, typing away at his computer. After demystifying our stereotypes of the tech world, we got down to some fun robotics, mobile app building and a field trip to some company called Google - and yes, we got goodie bags. You jelly yet?

The program ended after only eight exhilarating weeks.

This was the best experience of my life. What could possibly top this? I thought. I was in for the surprise of a lifetime.

Girls Who Code makes incredible efforts to expose its students to different realms of the STEM world from company tours to internships. They really do go all out. Our founder, Reshma Saujani set up a tour for a few of us at AOL. The panel of employees seemed so happy to be working there. I hope I can be this happy at my job someday, I thought. A few weeks later, I received the call to start my internship at AOL. I would be rebuilding their website Cambio with four other Girls Who Code alumni.

I met Natasha, Nikki, Lily and Michelle, and we all clicked instantaneously. While we were seated in two groups opposite of each another at the start of the internship, we took it upon ourselves to cram into a single row so we could all sit closer together - and it stayed this way 40 hours a week for eight full weeks. Today, I'm lucky to get to call them my Cambio sisters. Together, we built an Inspirational Meme Generator (Celebspiration) and a Contributor Network Platform (Col[lab] -sound familiar?) Our relaunch event was a success! We had a glam team, videographers, personalized candy and pillows, a BGG-themed manicure station and even a 3D printing station! As Lily put it, "We were scared to begin and weren't sure if we could live up to the standards of AOL, but our experience at #BUILTBYGIRLS made us fearless."

Fearless. What does this mean to me? As Taylor Swift said, "Fearless isn't not having fears; it's not that you're not afraid of anything. I think that being fearless is having a lot of fears, but you jump anyway."

What's my dream job? Being a TV reporter. At the end of the Cambio internship, I was humorously awarded "reporter on/off the job" by my co-workers and managers. I've always loved television and public speaking, but I never admitted it to anyone else. Whenever I would watch the nightly news, I would stare in awe at the reporters behind the desks, admiring their speaking tone and stern delivery. Could this be my calling? Though I've dreamt of being on TV for as long as I could remember, I assumed every girl secretly pretends that she's Rosanna Scotto hosting Fox 5's Good Day New York. I've literally had dreams that I become this woman. (Fun fact: The Cambio interns were invited on Fox 5 and were personally interviewed by Rosanna Scotto! And of course, I was sick that morning.)

Another Girls Who Code alumna and a good friend, Madina, spontaneously messaged me about reporter auditions in the city. She was too sick to make it, so she encouraged me to take her place. I stopped what I was doing and ran out of the house to introduce myself to my current boss. Taking a tour of the office, I noticed an entire green screen room. I had always dreamt of being in front of a green screen! The day before I landed the job, I even bought neon green posters from the 99 Cents Store and set up a mini green screen in my room to practice in front of.
I started my dream job as a TV reporter that very day. My boss let me borrow her blazer and after throwing on a company T-shirt (YAY, free stuff), I recorded my first segment while reading off of a teleprompter about the Nigerian inauguration. This was the happiest moment of my life (besides walking the red carpet immediately after James Franco and touching his back. I know, creeper status). My coworkers applauded me when I finished speaking, and it felt great to go home that day from a job that I loved and thought I would have to wait a decade to have.
From a happy (and grateful) girl living her dream job at the age of 19, here's what I've learned throughout my journey:
  1. People will discourage you. Listen to the ones who encourage you.
  2. As you think, so you shall become. Act the part - I mean it! Every morning when I kiss my family goodbye, I tell them, "If you need to contact me, call my publicist. Bye. Love you!"
  3. Create opportunities for yourself. Google is your best friend. Oprah Winfrey once said, "You get in life what you have the courage to ask for." Don't EVER hesitate to ask for what you want.
  4. Be your own biggest fan. Do this for yourself because you're the one who's going to be putting in the work 40 hours a week, you might as well be in love with it.
  5. Brand yourself. Don't be afraid to put your work out there - you never know who's watching! Social media is a great way to spread the word about your talents! Through Instagram alone, I've gotten responses from Eva Chen (Lucky magazine's former editor-in-chief and Anna Wintour's BFF), Hannah Bronfman (celebrity DJ and entrepreneur), Simone Boyce (Fox 5 entertainment reporter) and Beyonce! OK, that last one was a lie, but you get the point!
  6. Study your craft; you'll actually enjoy doing it. Would you ever believe me if I told you I finished two entire books, in less than three hours, in one sitting, at Barnes and Noble after my FINAL EXAMS?! Maybe it's because I was reading entertainment gurus Michelle Phan and Giuliana Rancic's memoirs. The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried, so take the initiative and learn from the best.
  7. Reach out to your idols, mentors and even the stars. You'd be amazed at how willing people are to answer your questions, so send that email or even that tweet! Tag them on Instagram. Don't forget those hashtags. #Shameless is my favorite.
  8. Record your accomplishments. Remind yourself every day of how far you've come, and keep a vision board (a mental or tangible one - whatever works for you) of what you'd like to accomplish. It's all about the journey, so if you want to share yours with others, don't shy away from doing so! You never know who you'll inspire.
  9. Seize the moment. If your celebrity idol is standing a few feet away from you, jump at the opportunity to introduce yourself (and of course, take a selfie!). These are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Don't waste them, or you will regret it. Don't be afraid of no's, either. People are generally friendly, so smile at them and shake their hand!
  10. Listen to lots of Beyonce. Seriously, she's unarguably empowering.

Khloe Kardashian is photographed leaving celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson's gym almost every day when she's in L.A. and she often shares videos from inside, but that still didn't stop the liposuction rumors.

First things first, girl never even needed liposuction, so we're not sure how that even came about, but when Khlo heard a report alleging that she'd had a little help in the beautiful bod department, she came out swinging.

If you follow Khloe on Instagram, you already know that she's serious about her workouts, and she often shares videos like this that prove she's in awesome shape.

Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' and 'DuckTales' Mashup Quacks Us Up

In case anyone scrolling the #BeyonceAlwaysOnBeat hashtag still needs more evidence that Queen Bey's choreography is permanently on fleek, then perhaps witnessing her endlessly sassy "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)" routine set to the DuckTales theme song will put any remaining denial to rest. Yes you read correctly - the YouTube channel Good Friends are responsible for cleverly syncing the 2008 hit record and the throwback cartoon theme music. Instead of Beyonce and her dancers strutting their stuff to the "oh, oh, ohs," they are totally breaking it down to the beat of DuckTales' "whoo-oohs."

Although it's a little awkward watching Beyoncé's sexy poppin', droppin' and ring finger-flashing set to a cartoon theme song, the moves and the music sync so well that you can't help but appreciate the ingenuity of the mashup creators. And if you haven't yet mastered the "Single Ladies" choreography, this DuckTales spin might get you in the mood to finally learn the steps. That may sound a little unbelievable, but trust on us this one. Your neighbors may judge you for getting all dolled up in your favorite leotard and dancing the night away to the DuckTales theme song, but we won't because we'll be too busy dancing along with you!

Check out the mashup and Beyoncé's undeniable rhythmic slayage below:

Jennette McCurdy on iCarly Reunion, Reaction to Sam & Cat Ending

jennette mccurdy icarly sam and cat reunionJennette McCurdy joined AOL BUILD today for a special sit down to discuss her new Netflix series, Between - but, of course, she was also asked some burning questions about iCarly and Sam & Cat.

During the interview, Jennette touched on making the jump from kids' television to more mature career choices and weighed in on her thoughts, saying, "I hope that I'm growing up and that my career choices will underline that."

While Between is a really dark departure from iCarly and Sam & Cat, Jennette said she hopes to return to comedy and would love to work with smart, funny women like Amy Schumer, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Mindy Kaling.

Jennette and her iCarly co-stars remain close, as she explained that she and Miranda Cosgrove are still best friends, and that the entire cast got together recently for sushi. We love that they still hang out on the regular!

As for her thoughts on Sam & Cat ending, Jennette said she wasn't upset because she and Ariana Grande signed on for 40 episodes and made it to 36. Plus, she added, "I was personally ready for it to be done...my mother had just passed away and I was going through some personal struggles I really needed to process...I was excited about getting an opportunity to have a break from the business for a couple of months."

The big question, however, was whether or not fans can expect an iCarly reunion. While Jennette didn't address a return of the TV series exactly, she and her former castmates did have an interesting idea that would reunite them all. Jennette revealed: "We had a group text going around like two weeks ago, just joking that we should all do a reality show where we all live together."

Oh yeah, we would totally watch it.

This Girl Just Took the Most Epic Tumble Ever

When a video on the internet starts out with someone saying "Don't fall" you KNOW someone is about to eat it and you know it's gonna be a GOOD fall because it wouldn't have gone viral if it wasn't.

In this "Don't fall" fall video, Annie and her friends are on a Spring Break cruise. Everyone knows cruise ships have the best stairwells because they're all zig-zaggy and stuff and...what better place to slide down a stair rail?

Unfortunately, this girl's zig-zag stair rail slide took the worst turn ever when she fell BACKWARDS from one zig onto the zag behind her.

"We were at a club in the cruise ship called Dazzles - it's like an oldies club - and we went to the bathroom then decided to go 'railing surfing' back down there and I basically did a backflip and landed on the same railing on the flight of stairs below me," Annie told BuzzFeed Life.

And yes, just in case you're wondering, she was completely sober...

When she stood up and felt good enough to go back to the club and dance (with just a busted lip), she thought she got off really lucky, but as it turned out, she actually had a broken rib, which was discovered a few days later when she got back to shore.

"There was only one day left on the trip, and I didn't want to stay in bed all night so I went out again even though it hurt like crazy to move or breathe," she told them. "When we got back to land, it was a 12-hour drive to the hospital because of traffic, but I ended up getting an X-ray and turns out I broke my rib!"

We didn't think anyone could upstage Madonna, but our girl Annie is giving her a run for her money!

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber Post Sexy Shower Shots, Hinting to New Project Together?

Justin Bieber and Selena GomezThe battle of Jelena is on! Selena Gomez graced us all with a sexy shower selfie yesterday, and only a few hours later her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber posted a shower shot himself, and it's pretty much identical to hers. Uhh, what's going on?

Selena shared a stunning new photo on Instagram that appears to show her standing in a shower. The pic is super dark so we can't see much other than her profile, but there are some lights in the background that suggest that perhaps she's filming something. Her caption kind of hints to it too, reading, "Ready.. #comingsoon."

Ready.. #itscomingsoon

As if that wasn't enough hotness for one day, approximately 14 hours later her ex-boo Bieber, shared a picture that was pretty much identical to hers on his own Instagram account. His photo is really dark, too. You can see the Biebs' shirtless body leaning against a wall as steam fills the room. His set up looks a little more real, and less like a video but still...the similarities are cray!

A photo posted by Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) on

It's still unclear what these two are up to. Maybe they're making a music video together? We'd pretty much die if that was the case. How epic would that be?

Perhaps he's just trying to get her attention? Guess we'll just have to wait and see. You KNOW these two aren't finished with each other yet...

One DirectionI thought I was going to die when Zayn Malik announced his departure from One Direction on March 25. It took my sister a minute to get what was wrong out of me, I was crying so hard.

But nearly two and a half months later, I've survived. I'm even hurting a lot less. Zayn is happy. Louis, Liam, Niall and Harry have kept the band alive. The boys went on a much needed two-month break just after the, well, break up. But by June 5, they were On the Road Again.
The OtRA Tour kicked off in Cardiff, Wales, and the boys preformed at the Millennium Stadium. They looked good; they looked happy. Louis even tweeted being excited about new music. There may still be a gap without their fifth member, but this concert was a fresh start for them. I see them going much farther. Good luck, my loves.

12 Reasons Why You Should See 'Jurassic World'

$

Jurassic World Waterloo Take OverOver the past two weeks, I have watched all three movies and started reading the books, all in preparation for Jurassic World! Why am I this obsessed? Read on, my dino-loving friends.

1. It's Been 14 Years.

I mean, I've been waiting for this since I was 9 years old. Look at me with my little hippo (he's kinda like a dinosaur).

I've always loved dinosaurs. I found my kindergarten notebook the other day filled with them. I used to live and breathe the Jurassic Park films. I even went on my own archeological dig in the third grade.
I am sooooo ready for this movie.

2. Jurassic Park is a classic.

Two years before the first Jurassic Park was a movie, it was a book, and now they're both classics.

3. It's been 22 years since Jurassic Park began, and now, CGI is way more advanced and awesome. However, for being almost as old as me, the computer generation in the original Jurassic Park was fantastic.

But, I mean, look.

At.

This.

4. I want to see how these dinosaurs came to be and how they were tamed into attractions.

In the original Jurassic Park, John Hammond found that the dinosaurs couldn't actually be trained or tamed to live in civilization. He even fled from the island.

IMDB's summary of Jurassic World states that Isla Nublar had been a running attraction for 10 years. I'd love to find out how that happened on that island!

5. And the new water attractions?

The very first trailer of the movie I saw was the one where everybody is sitting, watching the water attraction. A water attraction! It made me think of Sea World straightaway.

This is something that was severely missing from the first three movies, IMO. It's so refreshing to see it in this new one!

6. Is that a new creature I see?

What is he? Is it a whale? Is it a dinosaur? I need to know!!!

7. Raptors are evil little ishes, and I'm so excited to see what they're up to in this new flick.

You'd think that T-Rexes would be the most dangerous dinosaurs in Jurassic World. Nope.
That award goes to velociraptors.

They're smart like birds and deadly like serial killers. Everything the paleontologists had originally thought of them in Jurassic Park was proven wrong by the vicious little demon spawn.

8. We'll finally see what happened to Isla Nublar after 22 years.

John Hammond just abandoned the island at the end of the first movie, and then the other two movies were about Isla Sorna. For the past 22 years (OK, not really, because I was only 1), I've wondered just want the dinosaurs did to Isla Nublar.

9. Hammond will never get to see his dream come true.

Lord Richard Attenborough passed away in real life (may he rest in peace), and they wrote him off in the last movie.

10. The new kids look awesome.

The first Jurassic Park movie is my favorite of the series because of the Hammond grandchildren. I love them so much; they're so smart and resourceful. There were so many times that they shouldn't have survived, but they made it, and at times, on their own.

These new kids in Jurassic World look like they could be just like them, but they actually enjoy the dinos!

11. The ships, of course.

Jurassic Park isn't all about the dinosaurs. It's about the romance, too. I mean, can you say Alan and Ellie?

I can already tell you that Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are gonna hook up. And in the world of jurassics, it's probably going to be hot.

12. I love seeing how humans outsmart the dinosaurs, and with so many people this time, it's got to be even better.

Because isn't that always the very best part?

Raven-Symoné Named New Co-Host of 'The View'

Raven-Symone just landed herself a permanent seat at the View table.

The former Disney star, who has served as a guest host on the talk show 37 times, will join the show as an official host immediately, ABC announced Wednesday, according to the New York Times.

Whoopi Goldberg also made the announcement on the show today, telling the audience, "We are happy to announce Raven-Symoné is now permanently part of The View." As confetti shot out, Raven walked out to cheers from the audience and gave the other hosts big hugs. "I am so happy," she said. "I remember coming on The View when I was 15 years old for the first Cheetah Girls," Raven said. "I'm very happy to be sitting with these smart, talented mentors."
ABC's The 29-year-old Empire actress also echoed those sentiments in a statement, adding, "The cast and crew are warm and welcoming and has made the transition into daytime talk easier. I have a lot to learn within this new arena, but being the apprentice of these spectacular women will only make me a better person and talk show host."

Raven is the latest star to join the show, which has been a bit shaky following Barbara Walters departure from the show last May. Aside from Barbara's exit, Rosie O'Donnell re-joined the cast last September and then quickly signed off of the show for good again in February.

The rest of Raven's co-hosts are relatively new to the show as well. While Whoopi Goldberg has been a staple on The View since 2007, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez both joined the show last year.

Congrats Raven!

I Say We Shut Up the Use of 'Shut Up'

mean girls shut up gifI do not believe in saying "shut up" anymore. You hear someone get told to shut up, and you just see her face break. I now believe it's emotional abuse.

It's just that "shut up" sounds so demanding. "Shut up" sounds like, "You'd better stop talking before I make you stop talking." Hushing and shushing are sounds of concentration, and there are ways to ask somebody to speak quietly if you have a headache. I, myself, have to do that often.

But the past few times I've slipped up and told somebody to shut up, I watched that broken look cross her face, and I knew my mistake. Hitting someone isn't the only way to abuse a person, and neither is name-calling. Sexual abuse is the worst kind in my opinion, and manipulative abuse is the most subtle there is. But telling a person to shut up is taking her speech away, taking her freedom away. You are abusing them by doing this?

That's why I think we should eradicate the words "shut up" once and for all.

The Voice - Season 7Don't look for any new judges on The Voice this fall.

Adam Levine, Pharrell, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will all be back to take their spots in the NBC show's big red seats when The Voice returns, the network announced Wednesday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The No Doubt singer was the last judge to announce she'd be returning to the show, telling the mag, "I'm coming back and am so excited! I can't believe I get to return to The Voice. It's so inspiring to be around such incredible talent and music. I'm looking forward to working again with Adam, Blake and Pharrell. I love those guys."
The Voice - Season 7Gwen and Pharrell first signed on as Voice coaches in season seven, but in the eighth season, the fashion designer sat out and Christina Aguilera returned after being off the show for two seasons.

The Voice's season nine will premiere on NBC in September. Are you excited to see these four returning to the show? Tell us in the comments!

Rock 5 Looks From Taylor Swift's 1989 Tour

Taylor Swift Taylor Swift is pretty much the coolest. She delights in inside Tumblr jokes, named her pets after total girl power TV characters and tirelessly advocates for equality of the sexes. She's a seriously sharp businesswoman, too, and (perhaps most importantly), our girl Swifty single-handedly brought back hot pants - a wardrobe staple in the summer months.

So it's really a no-brainer why Taylor's 1989 concert style is better than all the Tumblr memes, girl gang members and awards show dance moves combined. There's sparkle, there's shimmer, and yes - there's even a full-on catsuit (no, not the kind with ears).

Kendall Jenner Models Seriously Crazy Couture in Turkey

Dosso Dossi Fashion ShowRunway looks aren't always the most wearable for everyday life, but this creation that Kendall Jenner modeled on the catwalk in Antalya, Turkey takes the cake for craziest couture we've seen in awhile!

The 19-year-old E! reality star hit the runway in multiple looks for the Dosso Dossi fashion show, but it's this Pepto pink floor length coat with a majorly oversized, sliced up sleeve that really left an impression. We can't imagine an occasion to actually wear this, but the bejeweled minidress underneath looks pretty cute.

Kendall also made time for play after working, enjoying a scenic hot air balloon ride which she Instagrammed.

The Amazing Reason This Girl's Dress Broke Social Media

Kyemah McEntyre Afro-centric prom dress diy
High school senior Kyemah McEntyre's DIY prom dress was not your average Pinterest-inspired sewing project.

Kyemah, an 18-year-old from New Jersey designed and created her own prom dress this year, with insanely stunning results. She took to Twitter on Saturday to post a picture of her creation: a V-neck gown in a bold red and incredible colorful print inspired by her African heritage. It's pretty easy to see that not only is Kyemah's dress not your typical floor length, sequined number. It looks like it would be right at home on the red carpet of this year's Met Gala (had it been African, instead of Asian, inspired). The best part? Her dress doesn't just stop at being simply beautiful. Kyemah later posted to Instagram about the inspiration behind her dress, saying, "Being exposed to all kinds of people and cultures is the muse for my artwork. I believe that in order for society to gain a wider horizon, we have to be willing to acknowledge other people from differences in beliefs, morals and values."

She accessorized the dress with a gorgeous gold headband and a head of perfect natural springy curls - in other words, she absolutely slayed. Kyemah will be attending Parson's School of Design this fall, a school that produced fashion greats like Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs, so we're looking forward to hearing about the amazing ways she'll continue to use fashion to change the world.

GoogleRight now, a swipe of your finger across your jeans indicates that you probably just dropped some lunch in your lap. But soon, it could mean you've sent a text, phoned a friend or opened an email. At least, that's what's in the works with Google's Project Jacquard.

When you think of wearable tech, usually there's a device attached to you - be it a bracelet, clip-on box, shoe insert or other add-on you need to integrate into your wardrobe. Project Jacquard (named for a complicated machine weaving process) wants to weave interactive threads into clothes you're already wearing.GoogleWhile the technology to make textiles conductive isn't new, the ability to produce these smart materials in large amounts (in other words, not just one touch-sensitive pair of pants at a time) is monumental, especially considering this particular innovation's ability to become anything from an interactive coat to a couch cushion.

Google's Jacquard yarn combines a secret metallic alloy mixture with cotton, polyester or silk to form a smart material strong enough for today's industrial looms. The conductive yarn is connected to minuscule circuits the size of a button, and the gesture-sensitive areas can be placed in specific spots on the garment - or over the entire thing.Google
That means fashion designers will be able to create smart clothing without sacrificing style to accommodate the technology. According to the Project Jacquard site, "Jacquard is a blank canvas for the fashion industry. Designers can use it as they would any fabric, adding new layers of functionality to their designs, without having to learn about electronics."

Google's first fashion partner is Levi's. The American heritage brand's firm grasp on what consumers want in a good pair of jeans - arguably a staple in any well-kept wardrobe - will help inform Google how to put technology into clothing that people will actually wear.Google
Levi's head of global product innovation Paul Dillinger said, "Levi's has always stayed true to our iconic products, while continuing to introduce innovations that address the current challenges of modern life."

Dressing smart just took on a whole new meaning. Check out the video below to learn more!

Anyone would be excited to be nominated for prom queen, but for Brooklynn Buenaventura, the honor was especially meaningful. The Renton High School teenager was born as Bruce and just a few years ago, attended the prom in a tux as a male and was nominated for king. "I really wanted to get out of that, I felt like I was hiding," she explained to King 5 News.

So this year, Brooklynn, who's in the process of transitioning, donned a pretty pink gown and went as her "true self." "I'm not hiding anything anymore," she says. "I'm still scared but it's about being brave. I want to tell other transgenders that it's okay to be out. We're not different."

Clearly, her classmates are seriously supportive of her new identity and voted her prom queen. Congratulations to Brooklynn! Being yourself is a beautiful thing.

Kendall vs. Kylie Jenner in a Game of "Which Sister"

We think we know Kendall and Kylie Jenner pretty well based on what we see of them in Keeping Up With The Kardashians and because we keep up with both of them on Twitter and Instagram.

But, nobody could possibly know Kendall or Kylie as well as they know each other, which is why we love the fact that they played this game of "Which Sister" with Glamour.

First question: Which sister takes more selfies? Each of them immediately held up the sign with the other sister's name on it. LOL!

We kind of have to agree with Kendall on this one, we see a lot more selfies of Kylie than we do of Kenny. Not that we're complaining because we love Ky's selfies, but she definitely takes more...or at least shares more of the ones she does take!

Next question: Which sister eats more junk food. Kylie has admitted in a past interview that she loves her junk food, but they both agreed that Kendall actually eats more of it...until Kendall changed her mind, saying she's been "good" lately.

Other questions they answered include: Which sister is a bigger tattletale? Which sister has the biggest shoe collection? And which sister is nicer?

Our favorite part, by far, was when they were asked which sister was the better cheerleader and they both felt the need to show their skills and prove why they deserved the title.

It's no secret Jennifer Lopez can back it up.

After strutting, shaking her hips and popping her derriere in the "Booty" music video with Iggy Azalea, J.Lo is back, twerking and slaying in Latin pop star Prince Royce's bilingual music video for "Back it Up."

In the nearly 4-minute video, the Boy Next Door star is first seen strutting poolside towards Royce in a floppy hat, cut-out bathing suit and aviator shades. She then switches up her look to a cream long-sleeved mini dress, and backs it up on the singer.
Pitbull also makes an appearance in the video, bringing in a reggaeton vibe as he raps a few lyrics with a bunch of booty-short wearing ladies surrounding him. With only a few weeks away from the official start of summer, we have a feeling this is going to be a hot song for the season.

Are you loving "Back It Up?" Check out the full video above and tell us in the comments.
