One would think that a busy pop star like Britney Spears doesn't have much time for playing video games. After all, this is the singer who musically implored everyone to "Work, B*tch," so clearly she's about her business. Britney's currently performing in Las Vegas, recently shot a video with Iggy Azalea for their upcoming single "Pretty Girls," and let's not forget that she's also a mother. Talk about #TeamNoSleep! Boss moves aside, I'm willing to bet she squeezes in some serious play time when the Britney Spears mobile game hits smartphones and tablets in 2016.
According to the game developer Glu Mobile (also responsible for Kim Kardashian: Hollywood), Britney's game is part of a five-year deal and will incorporate her "voice, likeness, and creative influences" in a way that players can "interact with Britney and experience the glitz and glamour of the entertainment business."
We're all for joining Britney to live the virtual life, but is anyone else craving some specific details about her upcoming video game? For instance, will the players be challenged with recreating a scene from her famous MTV VMAs "I'm A Slave 4 U" performance, with the chance to earn bonus points if they avoid a snake bite? Or better yet, will be they assigned to match wardrobe with the appropriate Britney era for a magazine cover shoot with the chance to advance to the next level if they choose the corresponding hairstyle?
We have so many questions, but here's the most important one: Are you as excited as we are for Britney's mobile game?
