Woman Claims 'Frozen' Is Based on Her Life Story, Sues Disney for $250 Million

A woman named Isabella Tanikumi is claiming that Frozen is based on her life story...and she's suing Disney to the tune of $250 million for allegedly ripping her off.

According to TMZ, Isabella said the popular animated flick's plot did not come from Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale, The Snow Queen, but rather from her 2010 autobiography about growing up in the Andean mountains of Peru. She is alleging that Disney plagiarized and copied the story, characters, and plots and turned it into Frozen, which happens to be the highest grossing animated film ever at $1.2 billion.

Box OfficeIsabella's book, Yearnings of the Heart, is described on Amazon as a "compelling, introspective account of the life of Isabella TaniKumi, who takes her readers on a journey through various phases of her remarkable life - from her family's survival during the devastating earthquake of 1970 in Huaraz, Peru, to the trials of overcoming heartbreaks of her youth. Conquering personal insecurities led to exploring the reaches of her intellect while facing the tragic, and untimely death of her beloved sister, Laura."

"Despite language barriers and the consequent obstacles of fitting in, Tanikumi wittily narrates her struggles with her assimilation into American life and culture," it continues. "Forging many enduring friendships most notably with Julie, who rescued her from the depths of grief. Tanikumi also interweaves a dialogue with her long lost love Eduardo."

We didn't see anything about a magical princess turning everything to ice with her hands here, but if Isabella does have that ability, we definitely want to meet her. And if she has a friend who is a talking snowman, we hope she brings him along too.

Are Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom Going to Get Back Together?

Lamar Odom's Stop tugging on our heart strings, rumor mill!

It took us a really long time (like, longer than we care to admit to) to get over the initial shock of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom splitting up.

Then, she revealed on KUWTK why she was leaving him and we were like 'oh no he didn't!' and we were totally fine with her newfound singlehood - that is, until she started dating French Montana and we were left with more questions than answers.

When she kicked French to the curb, there was speculation that she did it because she still wasn't over Lamar and we're not gonna lie, we kind of got our hopes up.

Maybe he's changed and is ready to give her everything that she deserves, maybe love conquers all and all that other sappy stuff. Maybe.

Now, a new report by Hollywood Life gives the romantic in us even more hope because a source tells the site that the two are talking all the time.

"She's in constant communication with Lamar and they are talking about the possibility of getting back together, among other things," they revealed. "It wasn't easy letting go of him and now that he's healthy and looking good and gaming her up, she's getting weak and all those feelings are coming back to life," the source continued.

So, you're sayin' there's a chance? Sounds like it!


While the source acknowledged that you never know what Khloe will decide, it seems like it's a definite maybe at this point, which is better than a definite "no," don't you think?

With Teen Mom 2 still going strong and no end in sight for one of our favorite reality shows, it looks like Jenelle Evans' son is going to have to get very comfortable in front of the camera.

In the photos from the family's first photo shoot, which the photographer shared on Facebook, it looks like baby Kai is already a total pro.

We also love how happy their little family looks together. We have to admit, if you would have asked us a year or two ago, we would have never predicted this in Jenelle's future, but here it is and it's a really, really sweet surprise.

Justin BieberJustin Bieber might be going under the knife. But, it's not for any plastic surgery you're probably thinking of.

Earlier this week, the Biebs shared the news that he busted his ear drum and might have to get surgery on it. Apparently he was injured when he went cliff diving earlier this year. Remember that video?

"Busted my ear drum cliff diving. Doc says might need surgery now. Sucks," he posted on Twitter Wednesday evening. "My ear drum might back us up a little but I'm still bringing you this new music," he reassured his fans about releasing new music.

We're assuming this injury came from that infamous cliff dive that went down last July while he was on vacation. The whole moment was posted on Justin's Instagram page, but it's not there now. Luckily, there's a copy of the clip below. Hope you feel better, Biebs!

Harry Styles hit fan with water bottleHarry Styles accidentally hit a fan with a water bottle at a recent One Direction concert - and he obviously felt so bad about it. Harry has been known to throw a little water out into the crowd during shows, but this time he actually clocked someone in the face.

We've seen plenty of stuff flung at Harry on stage over the years - shoes, bras, cell phones - so he's pretty used to having things chucked at him. This time, he tossed something back (most accounts say it was a water bottle).

We love that someone captured the exact moment and (of course) put it on Twitter for us to enjoy. Harry is seen gasping, covering his mouth, as the object made contact with the fan, then throwing his hands out in an "I'm so sorry" motion that has us believing he felt pretty horrible about how that went down.

Baby's first...fashion show? North West has hit two major milestones: sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week and walking.

No big deal, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's adorable daughter sat front and center on her famous mom's lap to catch the Balenciaga show yesterday. Must be nice to be North and snag prime real estate at couture shows in the City of Light all before turning 2.

Their little girl was fashion forward in a black leather skirt, booties and a Yeezus tour shirt in homage to her dad.

But move over models on the catwalk, because Nori's walking these days, too!
Kim shared a precious pic on Instagram of the fam heading into the show, and North is now taking steps on her very own.

Watch out, world!

Liam Payne turns into egg on Twitter followLiam Payne made a number of fans happy and a bunch of them sad when he went on a Twitter follow spree last night. The biggest complaint? That he followed "egg" accounts - those Twitter users whose profile pic is an egg by default.

Firmly believing the old "you can't please everyone" saying, Liam tweeted: "What the hell do eggs even mean lol I'm just trying my best to follow everyone :("."

Weren't people happy enough with that? Apparently not, as he later followed up on all the complaining by changing his own profile pic to an egg, tweeting: "Now who's following an egg!"

That's one way to deal with the whiners. Love that guy.

In an Instagram pic posted by Cody Simpson's manager, you can see Jelena posing with the group of friends. Noticeably in front of Cody is Chantel Jeffries, one of the girls JB reportedly hooked up with a few months ago.

Can't remember which one she is? She was actually the girl who was with Bieber when he was arrested in Miami earlier this year.

That had to be uncomfortable for everyone there. Even the picture shows that. Maybe Chantel and Justin are really just friends? Hmm...There's talk she is the lead girl in Cody and Bieber's upcoming music video. Maybe that's why she tagged along to the dinner?

Lets be real, how do you think Selena really feels about hanging out with her? We give her props for doing it. Very mature, Sel. Very mature.

Will Kathy Griffin Be Replacing Joan Rivers on Fashion Police?

Comedy Central's As far as we're concerned, Joan Rivers is totally irreplaceable, but unfortunately for E! they have to try to find a replacement, anyway.

After the comedienne passed away earlier this month, the network put the popular show on a hiatus as everyone dealt with the devastating news of her passing.

During a special 90-minute Fashion Police: Remembering Joan special on September 19, it was announced that the show would continue without the comedic legend. "Yes, Fashion Police will continue," her daughter and the show's executive producer, Melissa Rivers confirmed.

So, that answers that question, but the next big question is who could possibly fill Joan's shoes? According to a new report by The Hollywood Reporter, a shortlist of potential male and female replacements for Joan has already been drawn up and Kathy Griffin is in "serious contention."

Kathy seemed to dismiss that rumor on her Twitter page on Wednesday, writing "Just 2 clarify. I have not contacted E! & they have not contacted me."

The thing is, both stories could be true, because the source told The Hollywood Reporter that E! hasn't had any "formal conversations" with anyone and that the network wants Melissa to be involved, which only seems fair.

At this point, however, the network apparently doesn't feel that enough time has passed to even start having those discussions at all.

After filing for divorce from her rapper hubby earlier this week, the model went on a Twitter rant after reports surfaced that her new manager Nick Cannon may have been the reason behind their break-up.

"Please stop with the fake stories. I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this..... Unfortunately my now ex husband can't say the same.... I'm devastated and crushed but my main focus is Sebastian. Thank u for all the support in this difficult time," she tweeted Thursday.

According to TMZ, Amber and Wiz called it quits on Monday, and she is seeking full custody of their 1-year-old son Sebastian with Wiz getting visitation rights.

After news of their divorce surfaced, there was talk that Amber had been cheating with Nick, which is why she went off on Twitter.

Wiz, meanwhile, has stayed mum about their break-up, instead posting a positive message on Twitter today that read, "Today is a magical day for many of us. Let it be yours too."

O...kay.

Jason Aldean and Brittany KerrWe aren't sure if we should smile or cringe a little. Country singer Jason Aldean is engaged to his girlfriend and former American Idol alum Brittany Kerr.

According to Us Weekly, Jason popped the question sometime on Wednesday, September 24. He supposedly took Britt to the San Diego Zoo, and asked her to marry him. They have been together for two years now. This will be his second marriage and her first.

All of this might seem blissful but back in 2012, Jason was caught kissing Brittany at a bar in Hollywood while he was still married to his high school sweetheart. They divorced, and he's dated Brittany since then. He has two children with his first wife.

In a recent interview Jason told people to move on and get over the cheating scandal. "It has been two years of this s**t. Get over it, already! And then when I finally do get enough of it and say something, every newspaper grabs it. And I'm not trying to get in the headlines, I'm just trying to get people to stop running their mouths," he said.

Eh, can't say we're over it fully yet Jason, but we're happy for you. Congrats.

The lovey-dovey duo has split, according to E! Online, which reported that their break up was mutual and Jordin and Jason "still care very deeply for each other." A source told the site that they will still remain in each other's lives as friends in spite of calling it quits.

The singers first went public with their romance in January 2012, when the "Wiggle" crooner confirmed their relationship. But, they had been sparking rumors that they were dating as far back as September 2011.

Considering how open Jason and Jordin were with their affection for each other, their split does come as a bit of a surprise.

Just a couple of weeks ago, the American Idol alum posted a coupled-up selfie with her former beau, captioning the shot, "You know what? @jasonderulo is the best workout buddy! Thanks for encouraging me & pushing me to go harder!! BOOM! #getitrightgetittight #healthie #speezyfitness."

They were also all smiles at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, where they showed up canoodling on the carpet in matching white ensembles.

When Jason's birthday hit Sept. 21 though, we didn't see a lovey dovey post from Jordin, and Jason posted an Instagram shot of himself celebrating his birthday with Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri instead of with her.

On another party shot he wrote, "It's my buurrffday #virgonation 25 yrs- quarter century Life... Our futures are not only moved by the decisions we make but by the ones we love as well. Wouldn't it all be so simple if we only had to worry about our own mistakesjQuery19109621418509104064_1411681361310? Hmm Maybe not, who do we lean on when we f#%^ up then?! Niall gives the girl a spin during Paramore's performance and they dance together like they've known each other for ages before he wraps her up in a hug. It's all just beyond cute. The guys have been so amazingly sweet with their super young fans lately, like when they brought a 3-year-old boy on stage to have a chat or when they signed a little girl's cast.

If you're feeling weak in the knees, you're not alone. Seeing a tiny glimpse of these guys caring for the youngest of their fanbase really brings the feels.

Michelle Trachtenberg Tells Us About Being the Villain in 'The Scribbler'

4th Annual Production Of The 24 Hour Plays In Los Angeles To Benefit Urban Arts PartnershipShe's played mean (as Georgina Sparks on Gossip Girl), but never this mean. Michelle Trachtenberg takes on a villainous new role in a sci-fi action thriller.

The Scribbler is about a woman (Katie Cassidy) who suffers from multiple personality disorder and is committed to a mental institution. She's then given an experimental procedure called "The Siamese Burn" to help her keep only her main personality. After she moves into a halfway house to recover, residents start to die and it comes down to her solving the mystery or dying herself.

C: What intrigued you about the story and made you want to be a part of the film?
MT: "I've always thought that graphic novels are a great source material. You've seen the success with Sin City and how visually impressive those movies are and I thought it would be an interesting take on villains and I also like how both the lead characters were female. So you had a lot of girl power even though there's bad things that are going on."

C: What can you tell us about your character Alice?
MT: "She is the villain. She had a lot of aspect to her personalities that I felt were very complex and I wanted to make sure that in certain scenes her innocence was shown and her emotional damage - to show her journey from the beginning to the end. She obviously started at one point at one place being the victim and now she's chosen to victimize other people."

C: There's a pretty epic fight scene towards the end. How involved were you or was it all a stunt double?
MT: "Its funny, a friend of mine was like 'I saw the trailer' and I was like 'I'm not really in it.' You can tell, the stunt double had a different body shape than I do. We were definitely involved on the rooftop. But it was a very dangerous situation. We were on the rooftop in the freezing cold in downtown Los Angeles with fake pouring rain thrown at us. It was incredibly slippery and dangerous so the stunt doubles did most of the stuff."

C: The set looked pretty scary. Where was the location?
MT: "We filmed in an abandoned hospital that a lot of indie movies shoot in. It's super creepy and still had some of the stuff in the rooms. I know a lot of other films have also filmed down there, a lot of the horror movies. Even just walking down the hall - it's pretty creepy."

C: This movie falls on the darker side of films. Is that the direction you want to go in?
MT: "I've really changed my career around doing equally both. Every project I do is very different than the previous one. I never like to play the same character. Would I be interested in more movies based on graphic novels? Of course, depending on the material. I think an actress has longevity when she continuously brings something new to the audience."

The Scribbler is now out in theaters, VOD and iTunes.

Britney Spears Presents Her Dessous Collection 'The Intimate Collection'Britney Spears just pulled a classic post-breakup move, which totally made us love her that much more.

The pop star's now ex-boyfriend David Lucado reportedly cheated on her with a porn star and she kicked him to the curb the second she found out. She also went out and got herself this super hot haircut because that's what we do when we break up, we make ourselves even hotter! How do ya' like them apples, David?!

Britney is currently overseas promoting her brand new lingerie line and while she was sporting her usual long blonde locks in Poland yesterday, she somehow found the time to chop off her tresses before her appearance in Germany today.

We've seen a lot of different looks on Britney, but this one might be our favorite. It's somehow mature and incredibly fierce at the same time, which was a look that Victoria Beckham pretty much had a monopoly on.

We do have to say, though, while we love the cut and the way the style perfectly frames her face, we do not love the attempt to mix the beach wave and the bob together (below).

The good news is that it's not 1985, so we know it's not a perm. She'll be back to the hot (straight-haired) bob after her next shower, at which point we will resume our obsession with the new 'do.

Katy Perry Proves That She Can Pull Off Pretty Much Any Hair Color

Katy Perry can literally do no wrong when it comes to her hair color. In fact, even when she TRIES to do something ridiculous, like coloring her hair "slime green," she still looks super hot.

Now, she's trying out a new color, which was inspired by "Animal" from The Muppets and yep, you guessed it...it looks good.

Seriously, what the hell? We accidentally grab the wrong box in the hair color aisle (don't hate on at-home hair color!) and we walk around looking like an honorary member of the Addams Family for at least two weeks. At least.

Plus, she's got roots for days in this pic and it still doesn't matter, because she's Katy freaking Perry and it works. She simply can not make herself look ugly, no matter how hard she tries.

The red-haired singer is currently traveling the globe for her Prismatic World Tour, which runs through March 2015 and who knows how many new hair colors we'll see between now and then!

Is Nina Dobrev Leaving 'Vampire Diaries?'

The Moet & Chandon Suite At The 2014 US Open - September 6Is Nina Dobrev leaving the Vampire Diaries for The Originals?

Not at all. But, she will be crossing over on the show for an episode, according to E! Online, who got the lowdown from showrunner Julie Plec.

"There's a lot of people that could cross over, and when we plan our crossovers, we like to think of the most clever way to integrate The Vampire Diaries mythology into The Originals mythology," Julie told the E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos.

"There was a character's name introduced a long time ago in season three in association with Klaus and Elijah and how they became vampires and a girl that they both loved a long time ago who was the original doppelgänger, Tatia. So Nina Dobrev will be visiting The Originals for a nice little storyline in our fifth episode which airs November 3." Interesting.


Julie went on to say that Tatia's presence will cause the Original brothers to struggle again with falling in love with the same woman...kind of like what Nina deals with on her own show.

"What we remember from The Vampire Diaries, for those who watch both shows, is that [Klaus and Elijah] both loved her, so it's a little bit of history repeating itself like with Stefan and Damon," Julie continued. "And then Esther, their mother, killed her so that she could make Klaus not a hybrid. There's lots of secrets and scandal and romance and terrible tragedy attached to her character. We'll get to go back into the past to see how that all played out."

Tatia is getting introduced now, rather than when they first mentioned her, because they didn't want to bring Nina in in the beginning for the sake of getting higher ratings. "We don't want to be doing crossovers for the sake of, 'Look at us!' You know? But in this particular case, the character of Tatia is part of their history and is kind of a dangling chad. It's something we brought up a long time ago and never paid off," Julie continued.

As for when you can see Nina play Tatia on the show, her episode of the Originals airs Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. on the CW. Meanwhile Vampire Diaries airs Oct. 2 at 8 p.m.

Elle Fanning Tells Us About 'The Boxtrolls' and Clears Up Those Dakota Rumors

Elle Fanning may be just 16 years old, but she's already building quite the resume.

We got to talk with Elle about her 3D stop motion animated film, The Boxtrolls. Based on the novel "Here Be Monsters!" by Alan Snow, it tells the story of an orphan boy named Eggs who was raised by trash-collecting trolls. The Boxtrolls have a bad reputation, and Eggs must find a way to save his family from an evil exterminator.

"I've known about Laika (stop-motion animated studio) because my sister [Dakota] did Coraline," the actress told us. "I visited Portland and the sets when she went up there and when Boxtrolls came, they already knew of me cause of my sister." Talk about family connections.

Watch the clip (above) to hear Elle tell us about her childhood fears and give us her take on a crazy rumor she heard about her and her older sis Dakota.

The Boxtrolls will be out in theaters on September 26.

Little Girl Scolds Parents For Laughing During 'Let It Go' Performance

We've seen loads of Frozen-related cover songs featuring adorable kids, but we think this one may have them all beat. And she never even gets to sing much of the song.

Watch as the little girl prepares to sing, with her parents capturing video footage, but she gets a bit upset with them when they're not giving her their full attention. Mom giggles and her daughter gets very upset.

Here's the thing, the more upset the little girl gets (and that Irish accent is beyond), the funnier it seems to mom and dad.

The 2-year-old asks "will you stop laughing," before moving to more serious threats: "Do you want to be sent to your room and go sleep by yourself?" she warns mum, adding, "And nobody will see you ever again?"

Better shape up, mom and dad.

Lady Gaga is all about love and unity, so when two fans fighting in the middle of her concert, she was less than impressed.

During her artRAVE show in Belgium, Mother Monster threw her neon jacket into the crowd and two people started fighting over it. "Careful, don't fight...If you're gonna fight, you don't get to keep it," she threatened.

Well, they didn't listen and that's when Gaga got mad. True to her word, she demanded that they give back the jacket, which they obviously didn't want to do, but eventually it made its way back up onto the stage.

"Here we practice love," she scolded, before proving that she practices what she preaches, "And don't worry, I still love you."

Still, not exactly the ideal way to catch your idol's attention.
