Katy Perry is making history this summer, as Cosmopolitan magazine's first ever global cover girl. The July issue (which was released on June 3) features the pop star being interviewed by comedian Chelsea Handler and in typical Chelsea fashion, nothing was off-limits.

Of course, Chelsea asked the singer about her recent breakup with fellow musician John Mayer and whether or not they'll get back together.

"I know it sounds really hippie-s**t, but I'm living in the now and not fantasizing about the future or [being] torn up about the past," she said. "I'm super Eckhart Tolle. I have a lot of respect for [him] still, and I know it goes both ways. There's no bad blood, but I'm sure there will be inspired songs."

Sorry, girl, Taylor Swift totally beat you to it on the John Mayer breakup song.

Speaking of breakups, Chelsea also asked Katy about her longest dry spell. "Maybe six months or a year," she revealed. "I don't stay single for long."

And Katy definitely isn't the type to use a one-night-stand just to break a dry spell (some people do that, we've heard). "I've never been that way," the singer confessed. "For me, the most important thing about sex is connection."

Well, that wasn't half as scandalous as we were hoping it would be. But, it's still interesting so we'll give that interview a solid B+.

Lady Gaga is totally obsessed with her dog Asia and we're not complaining because we think she's super cute.

Gaga's other dog, Fozzi, however, might be a little upset because Asia is clearly Mother Monster's favorite, but you know what? Life isn't always fair.

Anyway, the "Applause" singer has been taking Asia everywhere with her. Besides the fact that she gets to cuddle with the pop star every night, Asia has also accompanied her owner as they enjoy private planes, fancy hotels, a night out at the bar and now, the beach.

"They say BatPigs cant swim but my little girl can! Ears out the water and everything! She loves it! #BatShark," she captioned this photo. Fwiw, batpig is an affectionate term for French Bulldogs.


She also posted this pic of little Asia laying out, using Gaga's t-shirt as a doggie beach towel. The beach day happened while the pop star was in California for her ArtRave tour, which Asia is accompanying her on.

Following the San Jose show on Tuesday, Gaga has a break until the end of June, where she'll pick up in Wisconsin and then do a couple of East Coast shows before heading to Canada.

We can't wait to see what her and Asia will be doing in their downtime!

Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' wedding is going to be postponed, but before everyone starts wondering if the delay is because they're heading for a breakup, consider this very huge reason for taking their time: they are hella busy.

Perrie recently explained to Metro that One Direction and Little Mix's busy tour schedules are to blame, saying, "I'm guessing so, yes. But after that, once it starts dying down a little bit touring-wise, we'll be able to get into it."

She added that keeping the romance humming along when they're apart so much isn't that challenging: "It makes it a bit more exciting because you don't get to see each other, so when you do see each other, you get butterflies. It's nice. It would be hard if we didn't feel like they were worth it.

We can't wait to see Zerrie's wedding - whenever it finally happens.

The CMT Music Awards go down tonight in Nashville, and everyone from country music..and pop music are going to be there? Yep, you read that right.

While Carrie Underwood and Hunter Hayes, are just two of the big names that are going to be performing at the show, Jason Derulo and R&B singer John Legend will grace the country music stage too. Don't worry, the guys aren't going to try to get their twang on or anything. They're singing their hit songs and mashing them up with some of country music's biggest stars.

Jason is set to sing with Taylor Swift's good friends Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan (let's hope he doesn't fall off stage). John will sing his song "All of Me" with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles and Hunter. He even wrote a specific guitar riff just for this specific performance with John.

Most of us would be super excited if we had a chance to appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. As if the idea of meeting Kim and Co. isn't cool enough, being on one of the most popular reality TV shows of all time wouldn't be too shabby, either.

Celebrities, however, feel a little differently about the famous fam and their ever-present E! camera crew.

Over the weekend, a whole bunch of Hollywood A-listers attended the XIV Summer Sessions in Los Angeles as Brody Jenner spun some tracks in the DJ booth, with KUWTK cameras rolling, of course.

Paris Hilton and Leonardo DiCaprio were apparently not impressed when they found out the reality show was filming at the bash. "Leo didn't want to be filmed for 'Keeping Up' and didn't want to arrive until filming was over," a source tells the New York Post's Page Six.

Apparently, Paris Hilton also refused to be filmed, which is perhaps even more shocking because Paris never met a camera she didn't like.

Then again, given that she just recently started DJ-ing, she might have been bitter that Brody was the one standing behind the turntables.

Or maybe she had sour grapes because Kim Kardashian kind of got her start as "Paris Hilton's party pal" and...well, things are a little different now. In fact, it might be a pretty big blow to the heiress' ego to be reduced to simply "making an appearance" on her (now) way more famous friend's show.

Ansel Elgort has some killer tap dance moves (who knew?!).

The Fault in Our Stars star showed off his skills during his appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, stepping away from his interview to pseudo battle Jimmy in a tap dance off.

"I started in ballet-I wasn't very good, to be honest," the 20-year-old actor told the late night host. "Then I got more into tap dance when my dad took me to see Savion Glover. The thing about the tap dancing is I always got stuck, because I got so obsessed with tap dancing..."

Ansel started to break out into a tap dance routine at that point, prompting Jimmy to show off his less than professional moves afterwards.

Tap dancing aside, Ansel also plays the piano, sings and even performed in The Nutcracker at Lincoln center as a ballet dancer in the past.

Talk about talent.

Farrah Abraham has had trouble with word definitions in the past, but this one might be her biggest flub ever. Some reality stars make sex tapes and they're in and out (no pun intended) of the biz in a flash.

Farrah, on the other hand, is doing appearances at strip clubs, wrote an erotic novel, made a line of sex toys featuring her own vagina and has been spending some quality time with her porn star pals. Still, she insists she is NOT a porn star. So, whatever with that, we won't get too technical. What does confuse us a little bit is that she gave herself a different title that seems even less fitting.

In a recent interview with Fox 411, Farrah said that she's a "sex symbol" and she's totally cool with that title. Girl, a sex tape does not a sex symbol make...

Farrah has been on a bit of a media blitz lately. During a separate interview with Starcasm, the "sex symbol" (we just can't with that) said that she's excited about releasing her sex toys, but has one concern. "It's going to sound weird, but the only thing for me to be uncomfortable about is when men are going to get these sex toys and are going to be like, 'Oh, I'm making my own sex tape with Farrah,'" she explained. OK, that makes absolutely zero sense.

Speaking of Farrah having sex (because that's what she wants us to talk about, isn't it?) she is single these days and is apparently using the services of a "private matchmaker."

For the time being, the only person she's sharing her bed with is her five-year-old daughter, Sophia. "She still loves to sleep with me, so I still take advantage of that because she's super cute even though she has her own room." We never thought we'd ever be saying this, but we have to agree with Farrah on that one. Sophia IS super cute.

It's safe to say everyone wasn't happy with Pharrell's Elle UK cover.

After the "Happy" crooner rocked a feather headdress on the cover of the mag's July 2014 issue, the Twitterverse erupted with complaints, with the hashtag #NOTHappy trending as a result.

According to Indian Country Today Media Network , Elle.com posted on it's website: "We persuaded ELLE Style Award winner Pharrell to trade his Vivienne Westwood mountie hat for a native American feather headdress in his best ever shoot." The Vivienne Westwood hat is the huge hat the music mogul has been rocking since the Grammys earlier this year.

That quote is now off the site, leaving this instead, "Continuing our tradition of featuring cult male icons on collector's edition covers we persuaded ELLE Style Award winner Pharrell to collaborate with us on his best ever shoot."

Pharrell, who told Oprah Magazine he has Native American and Egyptian heritages, later apologized following the backlash, with his rep giving a statement to the New York Daily News.

"I respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture. I am genuinely sorry," it said.

Luke Bryan just got named Country's Sexiest Man of the Year by People magazine, so what's he planning to do to maintain his mega hotness throughout the whole year?

Not much, says the "That's My Kind of Night" singer himself, who blushed when asked about his sex symbol status on the red carpet at tonight's CMT Music Awards. The cover guy said being a certified hunk will probably make him stick to his workout routine, and cut down on his drinking...but not by very much.

"Maybe now I'll drink one less beer - a week," he said. But he's not just on hand as eye candy: Luke's also set to perform tonight at the show with Florida Georgia Line and another non-country star: Jason Derulo, who will perform some of his hit "Talk Dirty."

Later on in the show, Luke will get the whole stage to himself when he sings "Play It Again" solo and we bet after performing twice tonight, he'll have his fair share of beers. Tune in when the CMT Awards kick off at 8/7 central.

Country music's golden, we mean platinum, girl almost didn't make it to the 2014 CMT Music Awards. Miranda Lambert's airplane reportedly had to have an emergency landing while she was en route to Nashville for the show. Scary!

According to several reports, the private jet charting Miranda and her crew was forced to make an emergency landing in Clarksburg, West Virginia after the plane lost cabin pressure.

Miranda and her pals spent about three hours at the airport before heading towards Nashville again. To kill time, the singer hung out with firefighters while trying on their shiny hazmat suits and posting pictures to Instagram.

She's set to perform at the CMT Music Awards tonight. Afterwards, she gets to relax and hang out with her husband Blake Shelton. He has apparently already come up with a good way to help her wind down when she gets home.

"I'm not a mechanic, but I managed to get this thing running," he said about their boat, "because I know when she gets back she's going to want to do something like that...she's going to want to just go float around and drink or be pulled on a tube, something like that. So I figured I'd get me some points here and get the boat running. I'm actually proud of myself."

There is nothing sexy about a 24-year-old car and Angus Dean knows that. So, when he decided he wanted to unload his 1990 Volkswagen Golf, he knew he needed to spice things up a little bit.

Instead of paying the high price for some super sexy eye candy to stand next to his car, he decided to borrow a friend's sex doll. Oh yeah, a "friend" ::wink, wink::: Not surprisingly, the "friend" wants to remain anonymous.

If he did borrow it (her?) from a friend, how would that conversation have even come about? Like 'How about them Dodgers? Oh, and do you happen to have a sex doll that I could borrow for a couple of minutes?'

And then when the friend thought he'd found a fellow sex doll fan and confided in him that yes, he does have one, he was probably totally humiliated to learn that his buddy just wanted to use it for an eBay ad.

So, why did he decide to use a sex doll instead of a real, live woman? No strings attached. "You don't need to feed them or pick them up from the train station and you don't need to pay them any royalties," he told the Daily Mail.

Apparently, he did it with a ride-on lawn mower, too ("it" as in using a sex doll to sell something) and that story had a happy ending...you know what? There is just no possibly way to explain this story that won't make your mind nosedive into the gutter.

"In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes," Benjamin Franklin once said.

That being the case, if you're making money and NOT dead, you're supposed to be paying taxes. Yeah, it sucks, but we've all gotta do it.

Still, there are some celebrities and high-profile people who have tried to play dodgeball with their tax bills and it generally doesn't work out too well.

In this case, however, Teen Mom star Maci Bookout apparently didn't realize that taxes weren't being taken out of her MTV paychecks and now she's got back-taxes like nobody's business.

In Touch obtained documents showing that the reality star owes Uncle Sam $78,308 from 2011. "She's in denial," a source tells the mag. "She needs to find a way to pay back this money. She's gotten herself into a lot of trouble."

Apparently, she's trying to pay it back, but that's a whole lot of dough to suddenly try to come up with, especially since she's not on the show anymore and probably isn't bringing in anywhere near what she was back then.

Hopefully she is able to get it all sorted out.

Who was that girl dancing and canoodling with Jason Aldean in the 2014 CMT Music Awards crowd? Uh, his new girlfriend, aka THE infamous mistress Brittany Kerr.

The sexy country singer made mouths drop when he walked the CMT Awards red carpet with the woman he cheated on his current ex-wife with only two years ago. She's the hot, blonde, former American Idol alum who caused all kinds of problems when she was snapped kissing him in Los Angeles WHILE he was still married to his high school sweetheart (and the mother of his children).

We couldn't help but feel a little tension in the room when cameras panned on the couple, looking very much romantic-like in the audience throughout the show. Perhaps it's a little too soon? A lot of people thought it was very lame of Jason to cheat on his wife, and it kind of hurt his rep. Either way, they did look happy together. That should be all that matters, right? Eh...

Mirror selfies are SO last year. Not that we've got anything against mirrors, or selfies, but there's gotta be a better way, right?

We can't help but wonder what would happen if there was a glitch in the software or it got hacked or something. Demi Lovato has changed her hair color again! We know, not exactly breaking news, but the "Neon Lights" singer dyed her hair another new shade, well two shades, purple and silver ombre.

On June 3, she tweeted: "Late night sessions with @AmberDoesHair... You know what that means?.... #sorrynotsorrybitchesss"

While we waited in anticipation to see the big reveal, Demi teased: "If you wanna see my new hair color you have to tune into @latenightseth tonight"

She didn't keep fans waiting that long, however, tweeting a pic of the new color, writing: "Lavender/silver ombre..... I know I said I was gonna give my hair a break but.. I #REALLYDONTCARE"

She also shared another makeup free selfie, looking flawless (as always), writing: "No makeup.. 4am..." We wish we looked that amazing at 4 a.m. without a stitch of makeup on.

Demi also made a shocking confession on Late Night with Seth Meyers that she believes in mermaids and aliens. Well, not that shocking, considering Demi believes in ghosts and loves conspiracy theories.

You wouldn't think a cute, talented guy like Austin Mahone would ever have had to deal with bullies, but the 18-year-old singer opened up to us about being picked on in high school for posting videos on YouTube.

We're sure Austin doesn't regret posting those cover videos. They are what got him discovered and turned him into a VMA-winning superstar, after all. He realizes now that bullies targeted him for standing out.

The best part? All the people who made fun of him in school now want to be his BFFs. #Typical. However, Austin remembers when they weren't so kind back before he was opening for artists like Taylor Swift. That's why he says he wouldn't want to go back to high school for prom.

His advice for other teens dealing with bullies is to surround yourself with good, positive friends that lift you up instead of bringing you down. Looking a lot like Harry Styles couldn't be a bad thing, could it? Turns out, when a mob of adoring One Direction fans think you're Harry, things turn a dangerous corner.

Richard Dickson, who is part of the One Direction tribute band One and Only Direction, is such a Harry lookalike that he got mistaken for the 1D hottie at their recent Edinburgh concert.

The mob of fans surrounding him and Liam Fergusson, who sings Niall Horan's part in the tribute band, was so bad that security had to remove the guys!

Richard said of the incident, "It was the craziest thing that's ever ­happened to me in my life. When we got into Murrayfield we were completely surrounded, just photo after photo. People were running from the seated areas to the barriers. ­People were grabbing on to me. It got pretty bad. The next thing I know this big security guard came and got us."

He added, "It was mad. We had to be escorted out the stadium. I was glad when it was all over."
