Taylor Swift is giving back once again. The 22-year-old singer has teamed up with Scholastic to generously donate 14,000 books to the Nashville Public Library.

The Scholastic books will be distributed among NPL's 21 branches in Taylor's beloved city. Each book will feature a special donation plate inside, which will read: "A Gift to the Children of Nashville from Taylor Swift and Scholastic Inc."

Books that are not put into circulation will be donated to low-income children, preschools and daycare centers, while others will be used as prizes for summer reading programs. "Swift's donation will help to provide incentive to encourage the love of reading and literature," says a press release from the Nashville Public Library.

The donation is one of the largest gifts the organization has ever received. Way to go, Taylor!

The director and cast of the upcoming film Chronicle, skyped with Cambio to talked about the movie. Chronicle stars Dane DeHaan, Michael B. Jordan, and Alex Russell as a group of friends who gain superhuman abilities, and use them for mischief and personal gain, until one of them uses the powers for darker purposes.

DeHaan plays Andrew, who he describes as a teenage boy who is bullied at school, abused at home by his alcoholic father, and has a mother dying from cancer.

"He's [Andrew] at an age where he doesn't know exactly who he is and exactly how to express himself. So he's kind of looking for a place to escape," said DeHaan.

Russell plays Matt, Andrew's cousin, who he describes as someone who is not comfortable with his own skin, trying to find self-discovery, and the leader of the group. Jordan plays Steve, one of Matt's friends who he describes as political and a strategist that is the "glue" between Andrew and Matt.

Director Josh Trank filmed the movie documentary style because he wanted a challenge, and was inspired by the documentary-style movie Grizzly Man.

"There's was a version of a fond footage movie where the camera operator can be talented photographer, talented behind the camera," said Trank.

He's also always been surrounded by documentaries.

"My dad is a documentary film maker, I grew up in a very documentary kind of environment and watching a lot of these movies, there's a lot of drama you can capture in real people's lives," he said.

The stunts in the movie were actually done by the cast themselves.

"A lot of the scenes in the movie where filmed with as long single takes. So, you couldn't have the convenience of cutting to another shot and the suddenly having stunt man take over and do some crazy thing, and then cutting back to a close up of the actor's face," said Trank.

"Yeah we did most them, but not all of them," said the cast.

Chronicle releases in theaters on February 3.

Nick Jonas has kicked off his stint as J. Pierrepont Finch in the Broadway version of 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,' and now he's opening up to PAPERMAG about everything from his stage role to what's in store for the Jonas Brothers.

In a sense, it was love at first sight when it came to Nick taking on the part. "I saw it and signed on board to do it, " he says. "It was a fun show and the music was great and the dancing, the way each of the scenes play out was all brilliant to me and I was immediately on board."

Although he's having a great time on Broadway, the 19-year-old says he'd like to have an "even balance of both" singing and acting in his career. "I started my journey doing both -- singing and acting -- and dancing as a kid, and to come back and do that now is great," he adds. "I've had some acting opportunities the last year, which were so much fun in 'Last Man Standing' and 'Smash.' There's been more and more acting opportunities and if there are roles that feel right and that I can take on and tackle, then I'd love to get more into it."

All of this success is amazing for the star, but he hasn't forgotten about his Jonas Brothers fans. "We've already started thinking about the next step for the brothers," he reveals. "The great thing about the theater schedule is I've got the days free for the most part when I'm not doing press. I've got the days free to create and I've set up a home studio in my apartment here, which is fun. I get a fair amount of work done in here without having to travel. You may even see some new Jonas material out sooner than you think."

Read more from Nick's PAPERMAG interview here, and check him out in 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' now through July 1.

Taylor Swift and LL Cool J have released another funny commercial for the 2012 Grammys, but this time the 22-year-old is making an attempt to beatbox with the famed rapper.

While Taylor is talented at many things, beatboxing doesn't seem to be her strong suit. Still, the charming country star does her best to keep up with LL in the clip, that is, until they both start cracking up.

"I love it!" the rap star and host of the 2012 Grammys exclaims as both he and Taylor walk out of the frame. "Oh my god!"

Hopefully Tay will be sticking to what she does best when she performs at the awards show. Watch the Grammy promo below, and check out the event when it airs live on Sunday, February 12 at 8PM ET on CBS.

Teen Savvy Blog: Keke Palmer Making 'Joyful Noise'

Warner Brothers

Joyful Noise hit theaters three weeks ago. Have you seen it yet? Our friends at Teen Savvy give their thoughts on the film and Keke Palmer's career.

Since the first announcement of the film Joyful Noise being in production it was obvious that the film would be compared to its predecessors with similar storylines. Complete opposites joining together in the church is a story that has been told before, but never with a coming-of-age love story to add to the plot.

It has been roughly eight years since Keke Palmer made her big screen debut alongside Queen Latifah in Ice Cube's Barber Shop II: Back in Business. Although her appearance in the film was a mere cameo the young, sassy actress showed no signs of backing down when it came to filming with Hollywood veterans. Everything has come full circle for the now eighteen-year-old Palmer with numerous lead and supporting roles added to her line of work.

Starring in Joyful Noise not only gave Palmer the opportunity to reunite with Queen Latifah who played her aunt in her theatrical debut but it also gave her the chance to work alongside Dolly Parton.

%Gallery-146492%

The film unfortunately starts off in tragedy, but eventually ends in triumph. Olivia (Palmer) is the daughter of Vi Rose Hill (Latifah) the head of their church choir. Things get interesting when a romance is sparked between Olivia and the grandson of Vi Rose Hill's arch enemy G.G. Sparrow (Dolly Parton). When the time comes for their choir to compete in the Joyful Noise singing competition, the members side with G.G. Sparrow and her grandson's suggestion to modernize their performance.

With so much lined up in 2012 including voice over work in Ice Age: Continental Drift, a modern Cinderella-esque tale titled Rags and a supporting role in the film Virgin Mary it is hard to understand how the rising star stays so humble and headstrong. Virgin Mary is being described as something the actress has never done before, tackling topics to separate the pre-teen from the woman.

Her self-titled sophomore album is expected to be available this summer. In a recent interview for Vibe Vixen in which Palmer graced the cover of, she stated "I don't want to be typecast, but I don't want to do things that I look back on and say, 'Well, why did I do that?"

To share the good times, and provide support during the bad, every girl needs a bestie by her side - even when you're rich & famous! Check out some of our fave celeb BFFs:

Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens: Ashley and Vanessa first met on the set of High School Musical and have been going strong ever since - in fact, Ash refers to V-Hud as her "twin sister". Whether they're working out, going shopping, attending a movie premiere or getting inked these super-tight friends always look like they're having a blast!

Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff: Glee's Lea Michele and her best friend are like most BFF's, except for one thing: he's a guy! Lea's real life bestie is actor Jonathan Groff. The two starred together on Broadway, in the hit show Spring Awakening! Though they never dated, they had to kiss night after night on stage. Now they are being reunited for the small screen! Groff is headed to Glee, where he will play Rachel Berry's new love interest (and rival) Jesse St. James.

Miley Cyrus and Kelly Osbourne: Miley's the daughter of country music superstar, Billy Ray Cryus, and Kelly's the daughter of the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne. So what does this unlikely duo have in common? A lot! First, they know what its like to grow up with famous dads. Secondly, they both share a bit of a wild streak. So we're not at all surprised that the two clicked when they began working together on the film "So Undercover".

Katie Holmes & Victoria Beckham: These two fashionistas officially became stitched at the hip when the Beckham's moved to Los Angeles in 2007. Their passion for fashion, family and their hot husbands binds these ultra-chic ladies together perfectly! Katie recently revealed that when the pair attends the same event, they call each other to discuss their outfits! Just like you and your bestie!

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez: We adore these two talented starlets, and love that they're such close friends. Not only do they know how to have a fun girl's night out, but they also make an effort to support other's music careers. In November, at the end of Tay's "Speak Now" World Tour, the two sang a duet for the first time ever at Madison Square Garden in New York City. We only wish they'd take the stage together more often!

Which celeb BFFs are your faves?

Big Time Rush fans out there, if you want to know the trouble Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan get into when they're on a tour bus together, then look no further. They spilled their tour secrets to Cambio and gave us a pair of tickets to give away to their sold out tour stop in Universal City, CA on February 18!

When it comes to the biggest snorer, it seems that no one really is copping to it. Carlos swears it's James, but James swears he never snores. But one thing our fab four does admit is that the biggest trouble-making is usually a group effort. At least that's settled!

Teen Savvy Blog: 'The Voice' Starts Season Off With Betty White and a Bang (VIDEO)

NBC

Game time began at exactly 6 PM this past Sunday night but, the official after-party was the season two premiere of NBC's The Voice. Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green and Blake Shelton are back on the hunt for the best voices that America has to offer. Just in case you are not familiar with the show here is the premise; four diverse industry hit makers listen to hopefuls sing and judge them solely on their voice. It is not until they press their buttons in favor of the singer that the contestants identity is revealed.

Contestant RaeLynn, 17 of Houston opened the show with her rendition of Pistol Annies' Hell on Wheels. After citing Miranda Lambert, wife of judge Blake as her inspiration it was a no-brainer that she would choose Shelton over Levine. Crowd favorite Jesse Campbell was not only the first singer of the night to convince all four judges to press their buttons; he also became the number three trending topic on Twitter after what seemed like only a few seconds on stage. After a mini showdown between Aguilera and Green, Campbell decided to go with Aguilera, starting her team off strong.

Rocker Juliette Sims stole the show with her stage presence and although Levine seemed like a fitting choice the singer chose to have Green be her mentor. The Maroon 5 front man redeemed himself when former Mouseketeer Tony Lucca chose him rather than any of the three other judges whom all pressed their button in his favor. If it were not for Cee-Lo pressing Levine's button for him Lucca may have chosen former fellow Mouseketeer Christina Aguilera to take on the job as his mentor in the competition.

After Sunday night's episode heating up everyone's homes nationwide it is obvious that we are all in for a treat. Seeing which artist the judges pick to bring on the show to assist them with mentoring will be quite interesting. Holding no punches his time around, their Betty White-assisted promo commercial (which aired during Super Bowl) proved that this season will be a real live show down.

Will you watch The Voice this season?
